In my opinion the Elite league will never be a success whilst there are so few teams in it , we need to get back to a much bigger league twelve minimum, It was much better in the British League days when a different visiting number one was on parade every week inter- mingled with an odd individual meeting here and there. In its current format it wont last much longer....

From the video just released it seems I was wrong with my estimate of the number of fans in block E I thought it was half full at best but from the pictures it looks more like a quarter full. -

Might be wrong but don`t think theres any viewing area of the pits. I did look down over the grandstand wall you may catch a glimpse of a rider but that's all. Not much passing last night but Bombers pass on Nicholls was superb I bet he had a grin on his face when he went back to the pits.and then he bet him again which must have made his day Bomber would have had more but for Zagar taking him high upto the fence. Wasn`t impressed with Zagar his tactics seems to be to wait till the last bend before having a go. Once your in the grandstand you can`t roam around your pretty much there in the grandstand in your seat or in the food toilet area at the back. there were big queues at the toilets at half time. despite the racing starting late at 7-50 and a ten minute break we were on the road home all done and dusted at 9-50 so not a bad turn around. Swindon deserved there win, on last nights performance the ACES are going to lose a few at home. didn`t see a single person from another track apart from Wayne Scroggins, from what I saw the crowd were nearly all Aces fans...At a full capacity meeting I don't think there will be enough turnstiles. entry was slow with having to hand your ticket to security and then they were looking inside ladys handbags so not surprised it was a delayed start. Otherwise a superb facility and lets hope the Aces can keep it going.. -

I was sat behind the starting gate on the back row M and could see all of the stand E It was at best half full.don`t know about the stand at the front of the start gate. I estimate the back straight stand to be half full. -

I feel sorry for the poor bloke he was tempted to buy something he might not have done because a carrot was dangled. BUT looking on the bright side he`ll know better next time. ! -

No it doesn`t . Mick gave the inference that if you went to the storm meeting you would pay less than the rest of em.. everybody was under the impression that the full price was going to be charged so some went to the storm meeting in good faith only to find they had been duped...its not about the money its about the right way of going about a business and to me it leaves a sour taste.. -

Its my opinion that Mick knew he was going to reduce the price but waited until the storm meeting had passed before making it known... Micks perfectly entitled to make any offer he wants but come on ! the existing offer hadn`t run out... -

If you went to the supermarket and bought a packet of soap powder and on that packet was a voucher for £5 off your next purchase of soap powder and then three days later you buy another packet of soap powder and hand in your voucher the cashier says sorry the powder has been reduced £5 so we cant accept your voucher what would you say...I think you would say the voucher was worthless... -

Would you be happy if you were given a money off voucher and then to find out at the tills it was worthless ? -

If the meeting is rained off which it wont be, Micks probably looked at all the weather forecasts and hes pretty sure it wont be, will the offer now count for the next home meeting ? -

So do you think it right that Mick should say that if you go to a Storm meeting you`ll get in to a Bees meeting for £10 when in actual fact Mick is going to charge £10 anyway..isn`t that deception ? -

Dornier replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yes but the problem is some only went to the storm because of the deal, they wouldn`t have gone otherwise consequently they were duped into going to a meeting they weren`t too fussed about seeing. consequently a bigger gate for Horton. In other words they didn`t need to go to the storm meeting after all they were duped into spending more.. -

The deal was fans would save £7 by going to the storm match THEN after they`ve got your money the deal is changed. utterly disgusting. -

Its not often I criticise the Bees Management but this is absolutely disgusting. they`ve hoodwinked the fans into going to the storm match under the guise they`ll be getting two meetings for £20 then when they`ve taken their money they`ve changed the deal. I think its near on daylight robbery...I`ve never said a cross word about Mick but this time he`s gone too far...Probably most who went to the storm match wouldn`t have gone and just paid the £17 EACH for the Bees meeting....I was going to go to the Monday meeting but not now Mick wont get another penny out of our family..... -
The majority of fans want to see a winning team especially at home. Its a lot of money to spend to go away afterwards feeling fully deflated the more defeats there are the less fans will turn up only the stalwarts will continue to follow. We`ll have to hope that when Woryna comes back the team start to pull things round...

I thought it was a decent meeting and the BT sport presentation was excellent streets ahead of eurosport and sky sports. Think Kildemand will take some stopping barring injuries he could easily be world champ come the end of the season . -
Make sure you vote him rider of the year otherwise you`ve had it. he`ll be looking for another club.
-
No but he bleats a lot
-
It will be a disaster for Mick if he doesn`t make any changes , the fans just wont turn up
-
Ford was worried to death that another team was going to grab Bjarne so Watt was the ideal sacrifice

Don't blame the poor bloke hes had the rug pulled from under him, by all accounts hes lost the love of his life and now hes no wages from Matt

Am not a fan of Bjarne he`s the last one I`d pick, let him go to Poole they think the world of him there when he`s riding for another team that is.
