  1. Would like to have been going down the road with a 10/12 point cushion but not to be. Spud unlucky in Heat 1 when we were on a 5-1 but we have to accept these things. R/R for Kevin produced 9+1 so probably about right. Paid 16 for our 2 reserves against 3 from the Diamonds 2 also a big advantage. So tonight should be interesting NBJ, Spud & guest Paul Starke should be among the points and if Coty can repeat his previous performance at Brough we just never know.
  2. HAHAHA Good question think that meeting in question us Bandits were expecting to see young Embleton riding, and when we arrived it was Covatti who scored 11pts. It's a funny old game lol
  3. Hopefully they are fit enough and we can get through. Been a while since we last had a Semi
  4. 9 teams without a fixture on Saturday, 7 without a fixture on Sunday. Plenty to choose from just getting the right rider to do the job.
  5. sorry George £30 and lucky dips are the best I have been getting hahahahaha
  6. Newcastle line-up probably as expected. Worrall, Clegg, Bjerre, Wethers, TJ, Bukhave, Phillips. As for Berwick R/R wouldn't be a disaster at home, with NBJ, Gappmaier, Jye & hopefully a fit Garcia taking Kevin's rides. However away leg a different proposition looking around who is available if we went down guest route, Paul Starke got double figures there for Glasgow earlier in the season. 30 years since we won the KO Cup would be nice to have a good cup run this season. Bandits to win home leg 51-39.
  7. If we went r/r Jakobsen now comes into play.
  8. Looks like we can get a guest if required
  9. We did try to organise a bus to come down last night. But with Hotel and Bus Fare it was going to be expensive for a one off. Sadly with lack of fixtures we could not really make it a mini tour. Eastbourne are in a better situation than we were, as when you come to Berwick your at Edinburgh Friday & Newcastle Sunday. I was looking to come down, as last time I was there was 1977 Cup Final which we narrowly lost .
  10. Probably been a while since most of the Bandits apart from Leon rode at Eastbourne. I would expect NBJ, Spud and Kevin to be amongst the points tonight. Jye probably won't be 100% fit after last Saturdays crashes, and Danni not a lover of technical tracks. My predictions have been quite good this season, as much as I would like to see an away win i will go 51-39 to Eastbourne. Safe meeting to both sets of riders.
  11. Depends what forecast you go by. Berwick has a forecast of its own at times.
  12. Yip 1981 Barrow, Workington, Glasgow were all used as we tried to keep going plus Newcastle for Cup Final against Edinburgh.
  13. Yes Motor Cycle Rally next week as well as footie. Not sure what crowd footie will get although there seems to be a few buses coming down from Cove.
  14. Back to the nitty gritty of the Championship Shield with hopefully a nice big win for the home side. With all teams in group now starting to win their home fixtures, that away win at Newcastle could be the one that sways it for us to reach the semi-final stage. Matty Wethers guests for the injured Jye Etheridge, with r/r being used for NBJ on Danish Championship duty. My predictions have not been bad so far this season Berwick to win it 52-38.
  15. Berwick defeated Cleveland 67-29 on Easter Saturday 1995.
