Birmingham Brummies 2019
Normski replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sarjeant back at Glasgow -
I personally wouldn't pay £20 admission per meeting. I had a season ticket last season, and including programme worked out at £13-46 per meeting. At £20 per meeting a lot of fans especially family's, would probably pick and choose which meetings they attend.

Berwick reserves were Gappmaier and Pijper hardly 2 pointers.
-
Was actually a good turnout which was good to see.

This seasons past ticket covered all League/ Shield meetings, plus couple of challenge meetings as well plus included programme
-
I had a season ticket last season courtesy of Santa. Was reasonably priced as it includes programme. To me doesn't matter who is in the team if it is value for money you go for it.

Would mean Gappmaier being in the main body of the team. If Spud gets 2.5% reduction could still keep Theo at the expense of Danni.
-
But hey ho it's speedway Taffy I could be a mile out with that lineup
-
Was there in 1977 as the bonny Bandits were in the cup final. We got humped but happy days.
-
Be interesting to see what lineup we announce for 2019. Summers 7-18 NBJ 6-58 Jye. 6-30 Doolan 6-09 Pijper 5-49 Leon. 2-00 33-64 leaves 4-36 thanks to the 38pt rule

Will miss the Panthers fans who always came to Berwick and boosted the bar profits in the Black and Gold. Good luck for 2019
-
Congratulations to Martin and yourself on your well deserved award. Good luck for an even better 2019
-
And the Bandits, Redcar everyone else whose future is not the best at the moment
-
Gappmaier would probably benefit from a smaller track. His form at Shielfield was good but some of his away performances were less inspiring.
-
Great idea let us move away from a facility already in place, try and get planning permission which would never happen and go to the expense of building a new track. I sat at a public meeting in 1981 at Chirnside, when speedway were offered land there for a new track and as we know never happened.

Good shout but Berwick's best crowds are against Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Redcar, Workington. What kind of crowds would they get against Buxton, Isle of Wight, etc. Dropping into the NL they would still have to pay the same rent for the stadium. As regards weekends off now and again, one of the biggest complaints this season has been the lack of meetings and gaps in the fixture list.

David Howe announced his retirement from racing.Still going to be involved in the sport helping Nickolaj Busk Jakobsen.

Pleased I dropped my average gets me a team place for 2019

Yes both teams have proved the experts wrong. Workington could end up with a lot of silverware by the end of the season.
