You wouldn't get anything in Poundland for Hojlund. -

Well done both teams, some brilliant racing with almost everyone chipping in with a decent ride. Loved seeing the passing being done inside and out, could watch Dan Bewley in full flow round there all day long, poetry in motion. -

Well my bets failed miserably but what a great evening of speedway, whichever way it goes it's been decent. I think Hawkins may have slipped up sticking with Doyle, then again, it's impossible to call. -

How to get Speedway more coverage on the Media
nw42 replied to Knowle's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Great attention to detail, many would have omitted the dirt deflector but, considering the subject matter, it's a necessity, well done. -
Agreed, it was top notch, I wouldn't have minded paying, was it £3 for the last round, but when I opened the site the meeting came on, expected it to kick me out anytime but no. Now, thanks to your suggestion, I can go and enjoy the Plymouth meeting, hope it measures up after the last couple of hours.

There's a thought, can watch BSN on catch up, never even considered that, nice one. -

Is anybody watching both this and the SEC meeting? I'm tempted but it might fry my brain. -
Jason Edwards take a bow, brilliant pass while under pressure from Lawson, class ride.

Really enjoying the BSN coverage this season, it's a fair lump to shell out in March but it's been worth it for sure. Maybe it's just me but I wish they would put the riders names on screen when they do the 'head to head' feature pre meeting. I don't know what a good few riders look like like, so it's difficult to identify them, small issue admittedly but worth mentioning. Here's hoping for a cracking meeting, Redcar win of course.

Extraleague Round 14 Fri/Sun 8th/10th August
nw42 replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ipswich-town/besucherzahlenentwicklung/verein/677 As I said, sold out 3 times in the last 5 years. Sold out 6 times this millennium, small club in a small provincial town. 18/19 av att 17,765 I could go on. Anyway it's not a dick swinging contest, my point was related to your throwaway comment, totally unrelated to speedway, not even a decent analogy. Anyone who knows their football history would never question Manchester City fan's loyalty, ask your elders. As you were -

Just as I thought, you know nothing about Manchester City's history. Maine Road was sold out when we were in the 2nd division in 1999, the Etihad has been virtually full since we moved there, the stadium is being expanded and will house 60k, it will still be sold out. Of course we attract tourists, it's inevitable with success, but to say our crowds are held up by bandwagon jumpers is ludicrous. Ipswich Town struggled to pull in 20k when they were in the 2nd division recently, they have only sold out their stadium 3 times in the last 5years. Stick what you know about, speedway in the last 3 or 4 years and keep learning from your girlfriend.
