Bears vs Scorpions 29/05/2026 19:30 CL
nw42 replied to IainB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
"I'm Paul Bowen, you've been my audience". What a plank. Decent meeting that, probably the best BSN one I've seen so far this season. Shame for Gilkes, hope he's back riding soon. -

Jason Edwards always comes across well when interviewed, level headed, has a really nice way about him, hope he does well this season. -
And when they do run it's usually pushing 8pm before a wheel is turned, am thinking same about BSN, lot of dough for not much return so far.
-
No blade available according to the ref, half arsed set up.
-
So you just made it up, ok.
-
What makes you think that, are you adept at lip reading? Mark Lemon said in the interview he thought they were happy to race.
-
@IainB arrived at 7.15 and there were no queues. So we are talking about late arrivals, not staff training. The sport is enough of a joke already in this country without this sort of stuff. It's not just Northampton either, tapes up at 7.30 should mean exactly that unless there are genuine problems due to an RTA or simialr.
-
Especially considering there is a curfew.
-
They should stick to the advertised start, if people miss the start then maybe they will turn up earlier next time, if not then the late starts will continue.
-
Very nasty looking that, hope they're both ok.

German GP Landshut Saturday 2nd May

I know she has her knockers but the new presenter, Emma, is doing ok imo, seems quite at home in the role so far, she'll soon learn some inane questions to ask the riders. -

True enough and that ended about 30 years ago. As for holding 2 meetings in 2 days, at least have the GP first, it being the 'main event' of the two. -

Well that was a tough watch, here's hoping they sort the sync out for this evening. -

Honestly the crap we all put up with in our efforts to watch the sport, it's ridiculous. Tatum waffling on as usual, no substance, just opens his mouth and spouts drivel. Love speedway, hate the coverage. -
Just to put the record straight, tonight's meeting is now available in the replay section. I'm not going to bother watching it tonight, after comments in here I read the match thread, nuff said.
-
I've sacked off the idea now, seems like I've dodged one tonight.
-
Thanks Dick, I'll not bother then.
-
I missed tonight's meeting, just got in and intended viewing it on catch up but can't find it anywhere. It says in the FAQs that it should be available 5 minutes after broadcast. I don't want to look if the match took place as I want to avoid the score. So did the match take place, anyone?
-
Fair comment, I take as I find.

Can't agree with this, I contacted them after having problems re-registering with my hotmail address, he replied to say the problem was at their end and he would get back to me once they sorted a fix, never heard a peep from him. Considering the cost of a full package you would think they would be keen to ensure they don't lose subscribers due to glitches in their system. Luckily I was able to sort things out and get the package, lucky for me because I want to watch speedway, lucky for them because it's £270 they would have missed out on. As for the problems people are having when trying to watch on tv like they did last season, thankfully I only watch on my laptop, must be so frustrating to have shelled out the money for inferior product/service.

Belle Vue v Sheffield KOC March 30th 7.30pm
nw42 replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Watched the stream and thought there were already improvements on the PCMT, camerawork mostly OK, commentary, much improved, definitely heading in the right direction. As for the match, not the most entertaining but considering the rain prior it was good to see them getting the meeting on, never in doubt as they say. Tate was the standout on the night, hope that boosted his confidence and he can keep it going. Hope Norick is ok, looked so lean and fit, has obviously worked hard all winter.
