  1. BSN charging £60 for Premiership play-offs, tenner off for season subscribers. Chmpionship play-offs are included in the annual subscription.
  2. Think I'll take your advice and not purchase the stream.
  3. Attended this today, first visit to High Edge, thankfully I picked a good day, glorious sunshine throughout. Staff were really welcoming, racing just ok, Simon Lambert took the spoils after being unbeaten in the heats and was pipped on the line by Jack Roberts in the semi, think he had a puncture. Lambert won the final, Dayle Wood 2nd and Jack Roberts 3rd. Nice blast from the past with Natalie Quirk presenting from the centre green, interviews with Chris Morton, David Gordon, Sam Ermolenko and the recovering Connor Coles, what a brave lad he is, I wish him well. Enjoyed the afternoon and will definitely visit again when I can.
  4. Yep, shortchange the punters by a heat and expect them to tip up more of their hard earned for the Ben Fund, typical British speedway. To clarify, was the correct decision to call it off but could so easily have been avoided with a little foresight.
  5. Yeah I suppose he will have had some role or other, I shouldn't let my dislike of sweaties affect my judgement.
  6. Apparently not, it was BVTV, Greg Blair seems to get everywhere, I once sat on a Jawa 500 but I have to pay in if I go.
  7. I just found it frustrating to have the commentary team telling us about stuff the cameras were not showing us. Anyway, I think they've got better tonight since the complaints earlier, the racing has also improved as per normal, so it's all good.
  8. I beg to differ re BSN, I think they are off their game this season, last night was very poor imo.
  9. I know what you mean, the standard of racing would be so much better on ITV1, I can see every race being ftg on ITV4.
  10. It's all well and good the BSN commentator waxing lyrical about riders going in deep but they need to clue the camera operators up a bit, who wants to hear Mrs Doubtfire getting excited about about stuff we can't see. Seems like the ideal track for Slater Lightcap to show off his skills, no problems backing it into the bends.
  11. Scunthorpe is north of Manchester, there's also Buxton just 25 miles to the south, so I'd say 9 'northern' tracks, 7 'southern'.
  12. I think I only remember Charles Wright being drawn #1, even that could be wrong though, sorry.
  13. They didn't say it was, or not that I heard anyway, they did the draw though. @PhilTheAce is the one who seems to be in the know, perhaps he'll share the info with us.
  14. Unless I missed it when I made a brew there was no announcement regarding streaming Saturday's meeting. Does that mean it's all bluster?
  15. It was far from a great meeting but believe it or not there are plenty of us enjoy watching our speedway at full throttle, not Belle Vue's fault that the opposition were beyond poor.
  16. Well the sport is called speedway, not backitintothebendway.
  17. "I'm Paul Bowen, you've been my audience". What a plank. Decent meeting that, probably the best BSN one I've seen so far this season. Shame for Gilkes, hope he's back riding soon.
