Lebedevs did give him an elbow when he almost passed him coming off the 4th bend, on the slowmo you could see him flex his arm and stick it out to and shove Pawlicki wider, seemingly not illegal but similar to drifting up to the fence and not leaving room for a pass I suppose, both dangerous moves that often lead to toys coming out of the pram.

Got a bit heated between him and Lebedevs in the pits, I wouldn't fancy fighting Lebedevs, handy looking lad.

Although the racing didn't live up to expectations there was still a fair bit of drama towards the end. Have to feel for Max after 3 really hard fought wins, at least he walked away seemingly unscathed though, could've easily been more serious. Fair play to Brady for taking it to Bart like he has, it would be great if the showdown in Vojens can go close to the final before being decided, ideally Bart not qualifying and Brady just scraping the overall win by the odd point, perfect. Also well done to Dan Bewley, Freddie handed him 3rd place on a plate tonight but he still had to graft to make it to the final. Back in November, I think it was, I put 2 e/w bets on the Series winner, Brady @ 40/1 and Dan @13/2, here's hoping.

Same here, PC was absolute class from the back and BZ has that same vision, neither Lindgren nor Thomsen could do anything to keep him behind there. Thought tonight would provide more excitement than it has so far.

Thanks for posting that, what a ride, scary to watch even when you know the outcome. I remember watching a meeting, individual, from Owlerton, it was a very wet track and I'm sure it was Andre Compton who was scraping the boards in a thrilling couple of rides, maybe you can name the meeting, some really exciting races. Always loved my trips over Woodhead on numerous Thursday evenings bitd.

You have an awful lot to say about the Sheffield track, also a lot to say about what track riders would prefer to ride, have you ever been to Owlerton? Over the years there have been plenty of riders who stated they enjoyed riding at Sheffield, much less so Ipswich. But hey ho, everyone seems to miss your point, I wonder why. It's clear you love the sound of your own keyboard, you could start an argument in an empty room.

Can you stop mentioning him now please. There's no better sight than Chris Harris scraping the airfence to make a pass, at any track, but instead today we've seen the Workington riders making passes inside and out, quite a decent entertaining meeting. Well done Workington, good team effort.

Well that was a proper tanning but I enjoyed the racing, just like at the NSS I find it enthralling to watch riders blast round the outside with no fear, inches from the airbag, great skills.

I wonder if it is available on catch up after the end of this transmission. I've literally just shelled out £9 to watch one race, thought it started at 7pm, ah well never mind. Has it been a decent meeting, good racing?

I agree but the point Ian made was that they don't even show you it during a race if they can avoid it, even a rider sliding off innocuously they immediately cut away. It's frustrating when the commentator is talking about it but you can't see it, I suppose it's just another example of the nanny state we live in these days. Like everyone else I don't want to see any rider injured but crashes and falls are part & parcel of the sport we love, yet they are removed from our view. edit; there's not many more violent sports than boxing, soon they'll be cutting away when someone gets decked.

Can sort of understand it from TNT, they don't seem to have anyone in their production crew who know much about speedway, so maybe someone has said not to show crashes on replay while riders are down and they've taken it literally that the aftermath of crashes and falls aren't to be shown at all, TNT are useless for speedway. BSN you would have thought know better but, as you say, they cut away every time. Must admit I've had good value out of the subscription to BSN, didn't do it last season as I thought it was too expensive for the full pass but it's not too bad considering it often keeps me in on a Friday night instead of tipping even more money over pub bars. Been some decent meetings in the Championship, glad I took the plunge.

Yes it was, they showed it on BSN, brilliant race, four abreast going into the 2nd lap, plenty of trust being shown by all riders.

That was some last heat from the Redcar/Berwick match, excellent race.
