  1. Fantastic night of racing, so pleased for Dan, he's loved dearly at BV and you can see it's reciprocated. Well done BV on track prep, hopefully they'll sort the catering etc for tomorrow.
  2. Lambert, when it matters. Fricke chose gate4 probably because of what happened in his last heat, trapped on the kerb. Shame as he's been outstanding tonight.
  3. Same here, I backed him e/w at 28/1, thought it would suit him. I also backed Brady to win it, so am still in the game.
  4. Well the water doesn't seem to have done much harm does it, as per most meetings the racing has improved. I ask again, what exactly is your beef tonight?
  5. That's ridiculous mate, they must be missing out of a fortune in takings. My dad will be turning in his commemorative brick.
  6. It looked that way at the back of the temp stand, also big queues for the catering vans at that end.
  7. I'd forgotten about her until watching the rerun of Prague just now. Hate hearing it already and we're now in for 2 nights of it, great.
  8. Not a chance, wouldn't be any different if Billy Smarts were running it. Cardiff city centre lends itself to there being plenty going on and the stadium is just a short walk away, whereas Gorton is nothing more than a big housing estate. This weekend is a virtual sellout, couldn't expect better given the state of the sport in this country. I've never attended a speedway meeting for the occasion, always in the hope of decent racing, Wednesday night British Finals at Brandon, just a big mad dash to get there for tapes up and straight home after. The BLRC at Hyde Rd, always a sellout approaching 25k in attendance, all for the speedway. So there we have it, you like a party atmosphere, no doubt plenty agree with you, but there are also lots of us who just want to see good racing and are not arsed about you what you happy clappers want, each to their own. Here's hoping it's a great weekend of exciting speedway. If anyone wants to carry on after the meeting then Manchester City centre is a 10minute Uber ride away, sorted.
  9. I'd say not but nothing ever gets done about that sort of move unless a rider comes down.
  10. I'll really miss Chris Harris when he eventually retires, has to be the best consistently vfm British rider of all time, certainly since I started watching in the mid 60s. He just never gives up the chase.
  11. Good of you to post this but he's not responding, shame as I was keen to buy them.
  12. Not the end of the world but it would be good if BSN could work out that Cammie Brown is 9ft tall and adjust their static booth camera when he's interviewed.
