  1. Heat 7, the worst bit of commentary I've ever heard, completely removed from the actual race. Normally I just blank it out but this is annoying me.
  2. Surely not, they could even be in a nice booth above the start, can't imagine they'd choose a remote studio.
  3. So it's you who's buggered the sport up then, meddling in everything instead of concentrating on what you were good at.😁
  4. We all have the sport at heart I think, there's just not enough of us. Be interesting to know what influence you've had, genuinely. I've gathered you used to ride, think I know who you are but that doesn't matter, I've admiration for anyone who can slide a bike round a shale oval. I always wanted to do it but for various reasons didn't get the opportunity, shame really as I could've been a contender in my own mind.
  5. Not offended at all mate, it's good banter, just a shame you are like the bloke in the pub that nobody listens to, mainly because he's a know nothing know all. Your only suggestion is to move it to the North East, that hotbed of speedway Newcastle, brilliant.
  6. Yet more insults, ffs give it a rest and enjoy the fact you've got the house to yourself for the weekend.
  7. Why would we do that, we are speedway fans. Darts looks great on tv but it's just loads of people having a great time on the p1ss. Speedway can only attract a new audience if the racing is exciting, so last night was a success in those terms and anyone who watched on tv couldn't fail to be impressed, providing they actually like watching bikes in the first place. You surely must have noticed that you are the only one on here who thinks like you do, yet you keep on banging the same drum and calling the rest of us shortsighted and thick, quite insulting really mate.
  8. Well at least you were gracious enough to admit it. I want tomorrow to be just as good as tonight and there's every chance, despite however much rain there is, that track can cope with a lot. My comment about things being different tomorrow night was not in any way negative, the track has had great meetings following rain. I suppose I was thinking aloud about who I'll back to win, I backed Brady tonight, close but no cigar.
  9. I was loving my forecast? What a ridiculous thing to say. Anyway you crack on, I hope you get a full day sunbathing tomorrow. Ps, be a love and post on here when the rain arrives, just for clarity.
  10. I'm 8 miles away and just been outside, definitely raining. Not sure what you mean, why would I be delighted?
  11. FYI it's now chucking it down, forecast to continue through the night and definitely more to come tomorrow. Things will be different tomorrow night.
  12. Yes, Bowen I think he's called, works for BSN presenting. I think they used to supply BV but unsure if they still do, only based in Lancs, 20 miles away.
  13. Fantastic night of racing, so pleased for Dan, he's loved dearly at BV and you can see it's reciprocated. Well done BV on track prep, hopefully they'll sort the catering etc for tomorrow.
  14. Lambert, when it matters. Fricke chose gate4 probably because of what happened in his last heat, trapped on the kerb. Shame as he's been outstanding tonight.
  15. Same here, I backed him e/w at 28/1, thought it would suit him. I also backed Brady to win it, so am still in the game.
  16. Well the water doesn't seem to have done much harm does it, as per most meetings the racing has improved. I ask again, what exactly is your beef tonight?
