Ipswich v Belle Vue POSF Leg 2
nw42 replied to blue witch's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yes but it's you who's been harping on about the Belle Vue track all season, every opportunity, you're just perpetuating the discussion by doing so but you don't see it. Doyle has put in his share of off nights over the years, luckily for you he's currently keen to show what he's made of, a very tough dependable rider. Now jog on and enjoy your victory you nasty man. -

It's not about being happy with him, more a case of it being none of your business. You're through to a final at last but all you've done is slag off the opposition, that speaks volumes about you and your kind, your mate Shovlar sticking his oar in as well with stupid comments, of course Brady never rode for Poole again because they went down a league. Try being happy for your club, you're in nosebleed territory now. -

Yes PC did that but it wasn't a club meeting, I'm fairly sure he missed an Aces meeting in the week prior and rightly so, he was on a quest for individual glory. -

It's pathetic isn't it, he is totally out of his depth, doesn't belong anywhere near a commentators mic, yet TNT just let him continue prattling on. -

Behave yourself, what's the problem, did he nick your bird or something? -

Well done Ipswich, tie was all but over after Monday and the state of this track meant there was no way we would mount a challenge. FWIW I've no issue with Brady playing safe with Saturday in mind, he's put in plenty of effort for the Aces over the years, here's hoping he can claw those 3 points back and give Bart a run for his money. Same goes for Dan, not worth risking your neck tonight. -

Sound advice, you can just transfer a bit more if needed and convert while you're there, all done though their app, whatever you don't spend you can convert it back to £s and put it back in your bank. I use Revolut for every trip abroad, never had a problem, completely hassle free. -
Agreed on the fans wearing the gear, I was stood in the first bit of the stand off the 2nd bend, just behind the half dozen Ipswich fans who had made the trip, (kudos to them), there were plenty around me wearing the club stuff, including a couple of the Witches fans. I wouldn't wear it at my age, 65, but would've loved some of the gear available now in my younger days. Back then the only choices were a black, white and red anorak, or a red, white and black anorak, oh and a bobble hat, now there are hoodies, t-shirts, bandanas, all kinds of hats etc. As someone pointed out, seeing the Poles twirling there scarves following a race victory is great to watch, it's just a whole different sport over there isn't it, something we can only dream of now. I can remember the sights and sounds of the BLRC at Hyde Rd, for me it's the only thing that comes close to what we see in Poland.

Kings Lynn v Sheffield Monday 1st September

Do KL stream matches? -
Wondered if you could see it. Lebedevs did give him an elbow when he almost passed him coming off the 4th bend, on the slowmo you could see him flex his arm and stick it out to and shove Pawlicki wider, seemingly not illegal but similar to drifting up to the fence and not leaving room for a pass I suppose, both dangerous moves that often lead to toys coming out of the pram.

Although the racing didn't live up to expectations there was still a fair bit of drama towards the end. Have to feel for Max after 3 really hard fought wins, at least he walked away seemingly unscathed though, could've easily been more serious. Fair play to Brady for taking it to Bart like he has, it would be great if the showdown in Vojens can go close to the final before being decided, ideally Bart not qualifying and Brady just scraping the overall win by the odd point, perfect. Also well done to Dan Bewley, Freddie handed him 3rd place on a plate tonight but he still had to graft to make it to the final. Back in November, I think it was, I put 2 e/w bets on the Series winner, Brady @ 40/1 and Dan @13/2, here's hoping.

Thanks for posting that, what a ride, scary to watch even when you know the outcome. I remember watching a meeting, individual, from Owlerton, it was a very wet track and I'm sure it was Andre Compton who was scraping the boards in a thrilling couple of rides, maybe you can name the meeting, some really exciting races. Always loved my trips over Woodhead on numerous Thursday evenings bitd.

You have an awful lot to say about the Sheffield track, also a lot to say about what track riders would prefer to ride, have you ever been to Owlerton? Over the years there have been plenty of riders who stated they enjoyed riding at Sheffield, much less so Ipswich. But hey ho, everyone seems to miss your point, I wonder why. It's clear you love the sound of your own keyboard, you could start an argument in an empty room.

Workington Comets v Glasgow Tigers 23/08/2025 3pm.

Can you stop mentioning him now please. There's no better sight than Chris Harris scraping the airfence to make a pass, at any track, but instead today we've seen the Workington riders making passes inside and out, quite a decent entertaining meeting. Well done Workington, good team effort.- 171 replies

Same here, much better than last night bar the scrap on the track.
