King's Lynn V Long Eaton (mdl) - 16th July 2014

And you were nearly without Lambert. I read on FB he had broken down and wasn't hopeful. So valiant effort by him to get there
-
Basically you can only build to points limit or like for like. They could replace Luke with a higher averaged rider as they had a couple if points left on the limit. Once you are over the points limit you can only replace with like for like or lower. Hope thathelps.

It said on the updates 'best meeting in Central park history'. Suppose when you have 2 equally matched teams it can be done
-
True but there was some talk of McBain being back soon and Kirby could really do with keeping up his good form in order to push on.

Stoke Potters V Scunthorpe Stags 28/6
TMW replied to Great Central's topic in National League Speedway
We found the falls a bit of a bind but Scunny is a 1 off team tbf -
I think you need tp give young Kirby the no.6 place and thrn Ayres and Garrad could share the no.7

Stoke Potters V Scunthorpe Stags 28/6
TMW replied to Great Central's topic in National League Speedway
I think some Stags are trying to run before they can walk but they put on a good effort -
Danny Phillips came through through the Scunthorpe training scheme

I'll sort your post out. Only because it agrees with me mind. You think I'm a chap to? All I can say is I must talk a lot of sense hence the confusion
-
Pleased for Kirby....that will be one jolly ride home
-
I will backtrack ever so slightly on the basis that we were at opposite ends of the track (bend 3) and prevailing winds etc..but surely some slack can be afforded for track conditions. It will be interesting to see how Kent in the garden of england manage today
-
Rubbish....it was at least ht 6-7 but think what you like Infact I've got a recording taken on an ipad of ht 8 with some dust yes but where you can clearly see the riders
-
Sticks and stones Btw i've been called many things in my time but never a 'he' :-)
-
I wouldn't normally comment because it just isn't worth it but.........Probably because it was a baking hot afternoon and it would try the patience of the best track curator to keep that track moist? Glad you managed to find something to moan about. Did you miss the minimal power cut? Say what you like about Malcolm. He manages the team like a pro and it is showing in the results not to mention Armo who gave up what he thought was the best gate in ht 15 to Payne to give him the best chance.....
-
Best of luck to him
-
I suppose the question is was the team agreed before Harris got dropped do you want to ring Chapman or Woolley and say' sorry but this other lad has become available so sorry but you are no longer in the team'? but I agree maybe he should form part of a future line up. Leicester could do with riders like Luke.
-
Proud Potter is normally on the ball with the threads but in his absence I thought I would start one !!!! My prediction is for......Good weather and a great afternoon !!!! Line ups courtesy of the Leicester Lions Website; Stoke: 1. Ben Wilson, 2. Chris Widman, 3. Ben Hopwood, 4. Lee Payne, 5. Jon Armstrong, 6. Rob Shuttleworth and 7. Adam Kirby Leicester: 1. Oliver Greenwood, 2.Dan Greenwood, 3. Max Clegg, 4. Tom Perry, 5. James Sarjeant, 6. Sam Chapman and 7. Tom Woolley

Fair play

I believe he had the crash whilst riding for Kings Lynn Barracudas 2009 I think he was their no.1

You have to say it's a shame but it doesn't seem to be a surprise some how

In past years there has been some very strong pairings put out by teams. But this years field seems to lack big names ,still well done Hitmen on your fourth place. But when is the next meeting at Buxton there is much to long a gap to keep people interested, come on Jayne get some meetings on or nobody will be bothered to come after such a long time between meetings plenty of other thngs to do on a sunday. It's here. These events go in shared http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=76713&page=2&do=findComment&comment=2467283

Well done to the Demons after a shaky start to the season. They seem to be getting it together. They certainly made Cradley work for it. Odd decision to put Stoneman and Andrews in ht 15 though

The details are below but if you haven't left yet check out their website since in the Club tab and How to Find Us section they have put a Google earth map marked up with the route. It makes it very clear. Well done to the Plymouth club. FROM SOMERSET, DORSET & BEYOND By Car: Leave A38 Devon Expressway at Marsh Mills. Follow the B3416 (signposted Plympton), then turn left into Coypool Road (signposted Park and Ride) where there are 520 free parking places less than 100 metres from the arena.
