  1. That makes him and, I'm sticking my neck out here, 31?
  2. Is he over 30? That rule could do with changing as even Scunthorpe the self proclaimed development supremos tried to sign a second 30 year old
  3. Yes thats what they were doing at Peterboro' at the PL 4's which resulted in a shuttle service to the local A&E and Newcastle suppoeters having to miss the end of the meeting. My point before you ask being the riders being the biggest hazard not the track. As I beliwve Peterboro' is classed as 1 of the best tracks in the country and falls happen there too
  4. Nobody of any importance but I can't believe R72 would think I knew nothing or I was unconcerned for rider safety
  5. You know who I am so I would have thought you would know that rider safety is upermost in my mind. No such thing as a dangerous track only dangerous riders.
  6. Not really bothered if they give up or not. Carry on for all I care.
  7. Give up like I did on the basis that it isn't my problem. I just go enjoy and if others don't in some vain hope that they will get it changed then that's their problem DH's notes in the program indicated no immanent changes. Maybe they'll all move on?
  8. I did at Scunthorpe And a Leicester. There was him and another. Don't like to speak il of any rider but I can't fatham out what promoters saw in him
  9. And you were nearly without Lambert. I read on FB he had broken down and wasn't hopeful. So valiant effort by him to get there
  10. Basically you can only build to points limit or like for like. They could replace Luke with a higher averaged rider as they had a couple if points left on the limit. Once you are over the points limit you can only replace with like for like or lower. Hope thathelps.
  11. It said on the updates 'best meeting in Central park history'. Suppose when you have 2 equally matched teams it can be done
  12. True but there was some talk of McBain being back soon and Kirby could really do with keeping up his good form in order to push on.
  13. We found the falls a bit of a bind but Scunny is a 1 off team tbf
  14. I think you need tp give young Kirby the no.6 place and thrn Ayres and Garrad could share the no.7
  15. I think some Stags are trying to run before they can walk but they put on a good effort
  16. Danny Phillips came through through the Scunthorpe training scheme
  17. I'll sort your post out. Only because it agrees with me mind. You think I'm a chap to? All I can say is I must talk a lot of sense hence the confusion
  18. Pleased for Kirby....that will be one jolly ride home
  19. I will backtrack ever so slightly on the basis that we were at opposite ends of the track (bend 3) and prevailing winds etc..but surely some slack can be afforded for track conditions. It will be interesting to see how Kent in the garden of england manage today
  20. Rubbish....it was at least ht 6-7 but think what you like Infact I've got a recording taken on an ipad of ht 8 with some dust yes but where you can clearly see the riders
  21. Sticks and stones Btw i've been called many things in my time but never a 'he' :-)
  22. I wouldn't normally comment because it just isn't worth it but.........Probably because it was a baking hot afternoon and it would try the patience of the best track curator to keep that track moist? Glad you managed to find something to moan about. Did you miss the minimal power cut? Say what you like about Malcolm. He manages the team like a pro and it is showing in the results not to mention Armo who gave up what he thought was the best gate in ht 15 to Payne to give him the best chance.....
