  1. The riders you’ve named would have gotten places anyway, I personally don’t feel that the Millars are ready for NL but Hopefully they will get some Second half opportunities to get their confidence up. I haven’t seen many of the others so I can’t comment !
  2. Armadale have built their team by putting Miller at 4 that can’t be doing one iota for his confidence for his 1st year in league racing ! I appreciate that they may have wanted the 3 x 3 pointers and one would have to go into the main team but is it fair on Miller ? ****edited*** although I do appreciate him and Rothery will swap places when they get their new averages
  3. They can keep it the same by ditching the likes of Clegg Grieves etc. Which, I imagine is the plan. Then you’ll get the likes of Blair Woolley Philips taking on the No. 1 with the current reserves 2 strings and I assume they have looked at the prospects of further Youths who will hit the right age next April to fill the reserve spaces ! I do hope they support those they’ll ditch but looking at the amount of riders I’ve never heard of in the championship there’s a fare few lower riders from foreign shores who hopefully won’t go on to ride in Europe and stick 2 fingers up at British speedway which, I imagine is their plan ! They’ve always used UK as a training scheme
  4. May aswell just throw the rule book out then, in the interests of the sport ! As if that rule can be broken then why not others.
  5. Because that’s what a ‘coordinator’ does they make sure things ‘come together’ with in a set of Parameters. They don’t decide ‘how things’ come together. That’s a higher pay grade if it was a paid role !
  6. Why would they consult him ? He’s just there for fixtures and stuff. Although I imagine they’ll start calling on him when they can’t fill spaces because of the woefully low points limit
  7. Been there before got the T-shirt
  8. You had to go there didn’t you.
  9. Maybe if the guest does well they’ll sign him or are they using an attached guest ? Apologies I haven’t seen any rules in guests !
  10. Forgive my flippancy but aren’t they one of the same
  11. They’ll argue it gives their existing riders more track time.
  12. Of course results have to matter. It’s a sport, winning is the end game. Whether it’s CL PL or 2nd Half. I’ve heard this before you’ve got to have a will to win. If the aim is for Championship you won’t get many promoters & Team managers in the CL saying “Just go out and enjoy yourself” and of course they have to be able to challenge weaker CL riders to gauge where they are and where they need to be!! Rothery was the stand out rider on Friday i felt Edinburgh was let down with the streaming Production team ! I didn’t get any buffeting but I thought the production and presentation was poor, comparing it to Berwick’s . Hopefully everyone will give this Friday another go
  13. He hasn’t retired just taking a sabbatical. 2019 was very stressful on our family. No less thanks to people who slated my family on here relentlessly.
  14. Or they could go with the ‘new dawn’ and give another 3 pointer a chance.
  15. There have always been ways round the pay scales. That’s why Pay caps will never work. Development or no development teams want to win. Good to see. It’s healthy !!
  16. I thought with 2 weeks to go it may have been announced. Silly me
  17. do we have an average for Blair yet ?
  18. If it’s not about the winning why be so strict about the points limit anyway? Never understood that in sport ! A bit like the football clubs. Just because you can’t attract the support to pay higher wages. Maybe the promoters could put more effort into attracting larger crowds than spending all their time trying to work out how to stifle the other clubs which in itself just drives down standards and affects crowds even more !! Instead of a use it or lose it culture why not give supporters a reason to go. It’s not just about getting the 15 heats over and done with (not nowadays anyway) it’s about the whole experience. It may not suit a lot of the old Skool as they like it over and done with and get home but if they want their sport to survive then it’s a trade off
  19. That must be a new rule as when Leicester & Crawley competed in the NT they had riders from other teams
