Reading through the threads it appears most promotions appear to have their issues, especially in a high pressured environment, at least in some supporters eyes and these issues are normally 'enhanced' by certain quarters to suit their agendas. If there are issues then lets hope they get it sorted and move on and go to Edinburgh and do their best. Again not defending the indefensible just supporting my club. There seemed to be no refusal to do post match interviews as they went on as normal and the first I heard there was any trouble was 2nd hand in the bar. Again why shouldn't Julia Hemsley engage with the team at the end of the day it's her investment as well as it is a family business. one thing I haven't seen is DH give the team a dressing down on websites and the SS like other promotions calling their riders best part of useless etc.....

I think after tonight's performance Mildenhall may already be there or at least should be :- )

Message To The Leicester Promotor

Are you asking the Leicester promoter?????. I felt he was hard done to being dropped as he was just regaining his confidence, after a nasty injury last season, and close to finding consistency. -
There is. Blue badge carpark accessed from the pit entrance.

As good as proboards is.......You rarely get a balanced view unless, of course, Redcar or Berwick are riding at Shefield when you get a texter from either side. . -

Who are the riders riding for The promotion or The Supporters?. People are putting a lot of time and effort into travelling to the away meetings to support them!!!!!. -
Yes !!!!!!! points that the rest of the league are going to pick up aswell. If we pick points up at Edinburgh, Ipswich and Workington I will stand corrected. I'm not that bothered if we make the play off's or not just enjoying my meetings while we have them but then my bank balance doesn't depend on whether we make the play off's or not!!!! Unlike the riders and the promoter.
-
I'm tempted to agree with you. I think although I didn't witness any of whats been talked about so I don't comment unless I have. As I, like many others 'heard' about it in the bar. I'd say whats playing on his mind is the play off's. We aren't picking up any points away and if we drop points at home Leicesters season will finish in august and that unfortunatley doesn't make a great deal of business sense if you ask me. Yes there are ways of doing things but DH i'f, what has been said is true is no different to any other promoter when up against the ropes. I've heard Terry Russell publically humiliate his teams on SKY how more public can you get?. It's not unheard of but as I say doesn't make it right. but then I have worked for Micheal O'Leary so if you are talking about public dressing downs.............

Always lok forward to these broadcasts even as neutral. These 2 chaps could teach Eurosport a thing or 2 as their GP anchorman is dire.

I should hope not with .new set of Kev's..

You don't get those kind of meetings everyday at Somerset Scunny or Sheffield, I believe the best race tracks in the country. The only time I have ever seen good racing at KL is when the pride of a country is at stake. I think last night proves my point the riders need to ride it Screeny proved that a fortnight before and the Somerst riders proved that last night now that's 2 meetings on the trot.
-
As a Lions supporter I have donated on many occasions to help riders out. When a rider finds themselves in trouble the resources are found to help out. Last night Doolan was presented with a new set of Kev's (my name is on the sky leg yehaaa'). money was contributed to KH at Leicester when he rode there even for a short time but then 'no speedway' is still too raw in the Lions supporters minds. I imagine that eventually that mentality wil fade as the memory of 'no speedway' fades until it returns. Maybe the supporters could do the same at Stoke

He isn't eligible to ride in the PL because he is only 15 you have to be 16
-
When Nielsen took out all 3 riders in ht 2 you just knew it was going to be 1 of those meetings. Watching everyone in the pits duck as a bike went flying by was my highlight. Don't think i've seen anything like that at BP since Bergstrom (I think) ended up in what is now the hospitality area. A good meeting though!!! Best wishes to Nielson and Edberg

About 10 miles from the track Just sporadic showers just enough for natural watering not enough to stop the meeting. No rain forecast during the meeting :-)

Don't tell me it was a message to the Leicester promoter but you ealised there already was one

Pleased you have all made up.

Can't see him in the NL next year as his article in the SS said he would continue with his german commitments and I imagine he will be snapped up by a premier league club. The interesting part will be when he hits 16 in April I think to see who he eventually commits to. Most of the away meetings are weekends which I imagine will clash with his german commitments, apart from Kent and Monmore, which KL have already been to and IOW which I believe Lambert is penciled in to go to. According to the SS This country turned it's back on the lad and he had to go to the continent to hone his skills and the powers that be don't seem to be learning from their mistakes as there is another such rider Reece Downes (i'm not sure how old he is) I have seen round Sheffield and Scunny who is seemingly now in the same predicament It's possible that the circumtances of his family aren't the same as Lamberts and his family can't manage to get to the continent for what ever reason. Why do the UK feel it is ok to keep holding these lads back?. Lets face it if Lambert does become WC the UK wont be able to claim him and sleep at night surely as he has come through the German system not the British all they have done is hold him back. The same as Woofy came through the Australian. We have Chris Harris who came through the British system doesn't that speaks volumes?.
-
He has to be 16 to ride in the PL/EL ?
-
Surely you aren't suggesting foul play!!!!! It's a travesty that Lambert can ride in high level meetings in Germany but not here. !!!! A special mention for Lewis Rose who has hit form running. He doesn't seem to get much coverage with the Lambert factor

Seems ironic considering the nature of the sport....... gone full circle ........again -
Kent have a Twitter feed that may kick in
-
I suppose that's a big part of it. Hopefully his crash wont affect that !!!!

Hope they are both ok
