I can grasp it very well thank you. I have explained my reasoning behind my arguments - have you? Apart from the fact that it would be very wrong to give a Free Pass to someone who was Banned from the Qualifiers.

None of those "several Riders" were Banned from the Qualifiers at the time - and I include Ward himself in that. Ergo - no hole in my Logic.

Because he was Banned from the Qualifiers. If you are Banned from the Qualifiers, ergo you cannot then logically be given a Free Pass in to the GPs, otherwise you make a complete mockery of the Ban. THAT is my Logic and it seems pretty sound to me. Presumably the FIM knew what they were doing when they Banned him for the period covering the Qualifiers. As regards the other Riders you have mentioned - the crucial thing is that they were not Banned from anything ergo they can have a Free Pass if they are chosen to have one. As you probably know by now - I am totally opposed to gifting people places, I believe it is wrong. However, in this we are where we are. I can't change that. I've tried to explain my reasons for him not getting a Free Pass above bruno.

It isn't the Tracks. The Bikes, as I have said many times are simply too powerful for the Tracks they are expected to race on. Given that Tracks have hardly changed in shape or length since the 1920s - it has to be down to the Bikes. For me, and here, even such an illustrious Speedway World Champion as 'Briggo' agrees that the Lay Down Engines have only made things worse - not better.

Wishing both Lasse and Jan well in their recoveries. Speedway is certainly racking up the injuries this year. Very sad.

Are you continuing this argument because you regret yoour Statement and aren't sure how to get out of it? I sincerely hope so. Of course what BFD did was very wrong - I said that at the time, and I am not condoning his behaviour but, he served his sentence. Ward should NOT get a Wildcard for the reasons I have stated. He was Banned from the Qualifiers for the 2016 GPs - so - if he was Banned from the Qualifiers ie. was not allowed to take part in GP Qualifying - does that not imply that he should be Banned from entry to the 2016 GPs? I hold that it does. I await your logical answer - YES or NO will do.

As has been pointed out by me and others ad nauseam Oldace - his Ban covered the GP Qualifiers - so logically he should be Banned from the 2016 GP Series. I do agree though - there is not much logic in Speedway. Regarding my Post regarding BFD - my Statement still stands - once Ward has completed his FULL Sentence - I am happy to forgive and forget.
