Tony Mole Retirement
The White Knight replied to Brummie Kev's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I talked to Tony Mole regarding the return of Speedway to Sunderland. It did not happen - but that was not Tony Mole's fault. I found him always very courteous to talk to and very knowledgable about Speedway and business too. I admire him very much and wish him a very happy retirement. Speedway will miss him very much. Just a thought - people talk about an Independent overall head of Speedway in this Country - would Tony not be a very good candidate for this Post? Just thinking........... -
Made me laugh anyway.

The only thing that you can be certain of is that they will change the Rules - - - AGAIN!!! On the other hand - they might do something sensible and get rid of Double P{oints. :approve:

Crazysue And Speedway Updates Texters And Updaters
The White Knight replied to jrs's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I totally concur with all of the comments regarding the Updates. As many will know - I no longer attend Speedway Meetings, however, I am still interested and the Updates are invaluable to me. I would like to thank every single Updater, Texter and particularly Sue for maintaining a service that is second to none. Many, many thanks. -
Yes. My wife used to love that.

Mikael Max To Retire
The White Knight replied to Ghostwalker's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Well said Trees - I couldn't agree more. -
Thank you for Posting this FH. British Speedway will miss PK, and so will I. Very best wishes to Peter in whatever he decides to do in the future - he deserves it.
-
My late Wife's favourite Rider. Peter is a wonderful example to all aspiring Speedway Riders - I loved watching him. As people have already said a true Gentleman in the truest sense of the word. I would like to congratulate wolfhound on an excellent first Post on the Thread. It says everything there is to say about PK. I concur with every word.

Woffinden's Language.
The White Knight replied to superclamp's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
My Wife died just over 10 years ago. Thank you for that. You have to be a certain type of person to Post something like that. I always thought you were a bit thick - now you have proved it. Why don't you just crawl back under your rock where you belong. Sod off!!! Mods: There will be no apology from me for this Post. I apologise to the rest of the Forum for my reaction to this - but - certainly NOT to phillipsr. -

Woffinden's Language.
The White Knight replied to superclamp's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Because they (Monster), presumably, would like someone who will bring credit and respectability to their brand, and show they were worthy of Sponsorship. Unless they would rather have a foul mouthed oik. -
Your First Taste Of Speedway
The White Knight replied to customhouseregular's topic in Years Gone By
As an aside - sorry - but I heard today that Wimbledon A.F.C. had signed an Agreement to take over at Plough Lane. That will be the end of any hope of Speedway ever returning to one of the most historic of Tracks. -

Woffinden's Language.
The White Knight replied to superclamp's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
He sometimes comes over as trying to be a clever dick. In his case it doesn't work. I am a big fan of Tai Woffinden as a Speedway Rider. As regarding his language he lets both himself and his Sport down every time he does it on the public stage. I can only put that down to ignorance. -

British Speedway As A Brand....
The White Knight replied to CookieIpswich's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I can't disagree with that. But crucially it's demise has been caused directy by the Grand Prix Series. Those who can't see that must be blind. The Grand Prix has been the ruination of British Speedway - and no-one will convince me that I am wrong.
