  1. Obviously you are right. But if I had bought a Brick (I nearly did) at that Price I would expect to have it in place at the Speedway Stadium for years. Not at a Rugby, Netball or even a Football Pitch. If the OP was only joking - I did not see any smilies to suggest that.
  2. ................ because it cost him Fifty Quid. If tha Stadium was not to be used for Speedway, then he paid his £50 under false pretenses and should get his money back.
  3. "Oh yes it does". Must be that time of year. "It's behind you".
  4. He would certainly be worth a punt on a Two average. He should, with this years experience be able to manage that - if not better.
  5. Same in Sunderland. Probably the Football Club will be in the same state too.
  6. Crikey!!! You are taking a chance. No Lindgren - wait until Dandelion finds out. I agree with you though - that would be a pretty decent Team.
  7. I was going to get a 'Brick' but I forgot all about it. First time I have ever been happy about my dreadful memory.
  8. He was, and for quite a long time too, if my memory is not failing me (again).
  9. I am just hoping and praying for a decent outcome to all of this.
  10. Not really, it's sods Law. One time it would benefit you the next Meeting it might benefit the other Team. It would work out over the Season. As I have said many times, contriving Results will not bring the Punters back. Most will know a 'con' when they see one.
  11. We shall see. I hope you are right and everything works well - I really do. My problem is that Speedway has been dogged by so many Rule changes over the years I have been supporting it, for very little, if any, improvement as is evidenced by the numbers attending these days. I know that many will disagree with me - but I think that all of those changes have just put people, including me, off.
  12. And that is exactly what they will do, as I said earlier. What about credibility then I wonder......................... Makes a bit of a mockery of it - wouldn't you say?
  13. They have kept 'Double Points'.
  14. Because the 'Elite' League was never 'Elite'. The Premier League was never that either - a contradiction in terms. If the Elite League was the top League - how then could the Premier League be that. Premier, by definition means Top. So they were both wrongly named in the first place. The Promoters have recognised that and changed the names. A good move in my opinion. You can say that again!!! I really thought it was going to be this year. Never mind - back to the telly.
  15. Surely if a Club doesn't want to go up - then they will ride to lose in the 'Play Offs'. Yes - there will be some fun and games next Season. They have kept 'Double Points' - so sadly I won't be there to see it.
  16. Where would you have liked it built Starman? Poole?
