Well Redcar won’t have Riss next week, that will help Berwick.

Think Hagon has done more in a couple of seasons than Gilkes in about 4/5?Has done not much in Premiership and is no better than a 5 point man in the championship. He was terrible guesting for the Bears last week,didn’t beat an opposing rider, was 5-1 d, 3 times on a track that was his home base last season.

Well,this could be an early indication of the Bears fortunes for the season.We have a really poor record at this track.Come on the Bears!

Just a thought regarding Gilkes for Riss?I know the argument would be,it’s just a challenge,a run out,but Redcar need to get off to a good start this season after the last couple of seasons and give the fans some hope.Is it because, as a friend said Riss hasn’t rode a match for us yet, so it’s a reduced facility? My counter being,he rode in,got injured in,and won representing Redcar in a BSPA event.So surely not?But this is speedway after all!! If this is not the case,would of expected a much better guest, given Gilkes poor performance for us last season.

The argument about moving off race night doesn’t wash with me! A repeat of the fiasco of last season may well be the final nail,they haven’t got a clue or don’t care what the fans want. As a business model, it’s a joke.

So, judging by the Redcar advance season ticket info in the Speedway Star, looks like Home and Away once and meaningless Trophy again?Not going to drag me back so it’s a No from me after 50 years!!!
