  1. Just do a swap for Tom Brennan, seeing as Danny has ridden for Birmingham before even tho you wouldn’t know it from his score tonight.
  2. Obviously the Ipswich promotion didn’t think many would turn up last night and my friends turned up at 7.15 and they had run out of programmes!!!! That crowd wasn’t that big.
  3. Robert Lambert wouldn’t ride for Ipswich even if asked
  4. Another reason why we should go with a full team and not RR.
  5. And another one bites the dust, Kenyan Rew ruled out of the meeting after crashing through the pit gate in heat 2
  6. King has been a loyal servant for Ipswich over the years but I think it is time he moved on. For someone of his experience around Foxhall he rides the wrong lines like last night, kept going to the fence on bend 2 and getting passed up the inside. Time for new blood like Tom Brennan or like others have said Jan Kvech.
  7. Makes me laugh that Hawkins says the defeats are down to having not enough bodies in the team at the moment, yet we are still going RR on Thursday. Going RR and losing Emil has affected all the riders now and their confidence seems to have drained away.
  8. Will any of the BV supporters come on here like the Sheffield ones and claim Ipswich will win with a line up like that. Another home loss coming and wouldn’t surprise me to be a bigger loss than the previous two. Can’t believe we are going RR again, the spirit in the team has been eroded with losing Emil.
  9. Why don't they get Fast Freddie to guest against BV seeing as he has an average as of the 12/08
  10. I notice on discovery+ that this is not the live meeting now and they have switched it to Leicester v Oxford. Missing out on the British Grand Prix winner being there.
  11. That is the problem we have the top two averages in the league out and we can’t get no one near them whether this is down to other clubs around us not letting them who knows. No disrespect to Scott who has done a good job we are replacing a 9 point plus rider with someone just under 6. We have done really well to stay top of the league but with both out I think it’s too much to win these meetings. When we had Scott at least we had another big hitter. That is where the guest situation doesn’t work especially when most teams are riding the same night.
  12. The next three meetings are all at home to the three teams below them, if we can’t get adequate guests then can see us losing all of them and finishing fourth in the league. Why haven’t we got Kurtz to guest, it’s not as if he has a Grand Prix this weekend or has BV stopped him from doing it?
  13. Again against Sheffield only BV not riding, same scenario as against Leicester. Could work in BV favour as they would get some practice at Ipswich if they let either Bewley or Kurtz guest as they ride at Ipswich the same week as the Sheffield match
  14. Could be a tough meeting against Leicester in our next meeting if Emil is to miss it after the crash last night. With all teams except BV riding, can't see either Bewley or Kurtz accepting a guest booking (or as some say not being allowed to by BV). Scott and RR won't be enough with the form Leicester are in
  15. This is your version from a home supporter who will always defend their riders, the following is from a KL fan not an Ipswich one who was there. The events were plain to see on the live stream and Chris pushed him away not ushered. People will always have different opinions about what happened. Gasser90 also said "I think jack the hot head was going over to Emil to give him some words, they way he was shaking his head and gesturing, Chris pushed jack away and told him to head back to pits"
  16. First and foremost thank god that Emil isn’t seriously injured. When I saw the crash I thought it could be the footrest which could cause the damage. As for Jack he should learn some respect from his brother Chris. You don’t go to give abuse to a rider who is prone on the track and was seen being pushed away. Chris went running back to the pits and brought something back to help. Didn’t Jack like it as Emil had the audacity to pass him in turn one, Jack then didn’t give him any room down the back straight which caused Emil to hit the fence and then he was a passenger into turn 3. Like people have said if he rolled the throttle off he would’ve hit the fence earlier. As for just Ipswich fans having a go about the track a lot of comments on here are from fans around the country not just Ipswich
  17. Artem is a proper number 2 the way he treated speedway in this country last season
  18. To save another KL fixture getting called off "in the best interests of the sport", maybe Sheffield should go RR for Woofinden and let Harris guest for KL again.
  19. Have to agree, some really good racing tonight and KL made us work for it early on. Said exactly the same to my mate about Kvech, attacked the track like it should be done and got the results
  20. I’m surprised it has taken this long to have Simon Lambert in a King’s Lynn team even though he is only a guest, they always seem to go back to him every season
  21. Don’t know if they do but knowing they could only get guests from Birmingham or unattached riders in the championship still baffling line up as putting your top 2 at 3&4 weakens you at 5 with the reserves. The turning point was when Rew kicked into gear and KL couldn’t get close to us. I’ve never seen Keynan so animated after winning his last 3 rides, fist pumping. When he walks from the track to the pits at Ipswich after a good ride he hasn’t shown any emotion before last night. It’s good to see.
  22. I expected a lot more from KL reserves but they didn’t kick on from heat 2. I think KL got their rider order wrong by putting their best two riders together at 3&4. I know Kerr had to be at 1 but putting Cook at 5 instead of Kvech was baffling
  23. I never expect an easy win against KL as it is a derby. I think being the start of school holidays had a lot to do with the amount of away fans, plus the lack of action at foxhall this month as with the rain off we have had no speedway in july at home
  24. How many Ipswich fans did you speak to to know that they expected to get 55+ last night. There were so many of us there last night as we thought Buster needed some money after all the called off meetings this year.
  25. Too busy as he mechanics for Keynan Rew in the premiership.
