  1. The Leicester match is probably more saleable to fans, with the Thompson twins and a bigger named club. Realistically Kent know they’ll not run one home meeting so have picked the least enticing one on paper, and with zero chance of any away fans coming, to not run.
  2. So Berwick have ended their season. Mildenhall will move above them if they win 1 meeting, from their final 2, or get a draw and losing bonus point. Kent can also move above them by winning all 4 home meetings! But the problem is Mildenhall haven’t got a date to go to Armadale atm and Edinburgh are still in the play-offs and KOC! Whilst Kent only have 3 Tuesdays left in Oct but have 4 home meetings! Its been such a shortened and disjointed NL season yet all the meaningful fixtures are taking place in October and it looks like 1 or 2 might not take place at all! Fair play to Berwick for getting all their fixtures done in a timely manner if they do win the league but everybody wants to see everybody actually finish their seasons!
  3. A good idea to add the U21s and make a weekend of it. Also a good idea to bring the World Cup back but they’re still using the argument of including more countries by still running SON.
  4. The most important speedway competition of the season is approaching fast - the tournaments for the Polish Grand Prix in Toruń. Please be advised that on Friday, from 4:00 p.m., the ticket offices for the 10th round and programs (one for both rounds) will be sold. On Saturday, due to the sold tickets for the 11th round, only the sale of programs will be carried out at the clubs. We would like to remind you that ticket holders and Speedway Grand Prix of Poland volunteers can travel to the competition for free by public transport. In connection with the modernization of tram tracks in ul. Broniewskiego and Bydgoska, access to the event on October 1 and 2, 2021 will take place by trams no. 1 and 4 to the "Okręcna" stop. Additionally, with al. Solidarności to the "Uniwersytet" terminus from 16:46 to 18:46 every 20 minutes there will be tram no. 8 running. After the competition, from the "Uniwersytet" terminus, additional courses of the trams No. 1 to the "Olimpijska" terminus and No. 4 to the "Wschodnia" terminus and line No. 8 to al. Solidarity. Persons with a valid ticket for the SGP tournament, upon presentation of a valid ticket on the day of validity of the ticket on the day of the event, are entitled to free travel by public transport on the day of the competition on all lines in zone I from 15:00 to 24:00.
  5. Well that’s how to throw away a league title!
  6. Friday night racing is definitely much better. The track holds up better and more fans attend. But surely they have to plan assuming it’ll be a Friday night seeing as if they face Glasgow then they’ll probably use the Sunday as their home meeting.
  7. Yep no lateral flow needed if you land after 4am on the Monday (and are vaccinated). I land on the Sunday night so need one! Regarding the PLF, the Poles say this: ‘You can print the confirmation or present it to the airport staff on a mobile device (e.g. phone, tablet).’ https://www.gov.pl/web/gov/fill-in-the-passenger-locator-form
  8. That would be very good. I wonder where confirmation of this could be found.
  9. I still think it’s Kent’s to lose but the weather will play a huge part now. Even if Mildenhall get 4 points at Armadale and beat Berwick at home then they’ll end on 23 points and Kent can match that by winning their 5 home meetings. But even one postponement could cost them the title.
  10. Well it’s raining at the track. Only light now tbf but I drove through heavy rain.
  11. If Douglas comes in for Schlein then it’ll be very hard for Scunny. With only 6.94 to replace Aarnio with it’s not enough for any of the top 4 of Redcar or Leicester. But could they change their line-up to bring in Dan Thompson for Palin and then use R/R for Aarnio?! That’ll allow Jorgensen to take an R/R ride and the rest can still be split between Lambert and whoever’s on form.
  12. Bewley even admitted he thought he should be back in. But trying to get the bike off the track has probably made the ref’s mind up for him.
  13. Some of us saw the problems. Others were either too narrow minded or short sighted to see them and pressed ahead regardless unfortunately.
  14. I think you’ve said that in jest, but that to the Mildenhall fans who only have that side to support. And tell it to the riders that the result doesn’t actually matter.
  15. Why didn’t Coles take Bowen’s 3rd ride (Woodhull for Bowen in heat 12 and Coles for Woodhull in heat 14)? He would’ve only needed 1 point to salvage a draw.
  16. Best of luck to Mulford who moves up after all.
  17. It now means he’ll stay at reserve for Berwick away. Maybe they thought that was an easier meeting on palate than Eastbourne away?
