I guess it was Saturday so that Lunna could ride as he had an under 21 semi yesterday. -

So is Banks not riding? Why? -
Will he be 15 for next season?

I wish they'd change the pairs and fours rules so they took priority over the PL. Its a one-off event for a national title after all!
-
Not all teams want that many fixtures though, look at King's Lynn & Coventry who would struggle with availability and it would only take a rain-off or two for serious problems at Perry Barr. But the National Trophy lets those have extra who want it.
-
I agree! I think its very likely. They seem to talk about NL every year and it never happens. But with the number of teams it'd be too many fixtures for them atm. If they went to Central Park its a definite no anyway. I think we all would but with the Islanders back, 12 teams is too many (never thought I'd say that!!!!).
-
They've already got planning permission for next season and it's to race until 9:30pm on a Friday (as it can't be during the week as kids have to go to bed on a school night!!).

BWD will start next year in the NL on whatever he finishes this year on!! It doesn't matter if he rides PL or not, it'll still be what he ends this year on! Ellis was different as he didn't ride NL last year, so it was the higher of his 2013 NL average or 2014 PL average converted (which is PL doubled).

Islanders Fans Forum This Thursday...

In short: presentation was superb with lots of people there. To return to NL in 2016, SBS EPOS as main team sponsors, Thursday as the new race night, to run 6 meetings this year and possible PL return in 2017/2018. -
And my question was obviously relative to the league. It's not my opinion anyway. The league points gleaned so far shows it's not a weak side.

You've not been paying much attention then. -
It certainly is a league that fans and riders (therefore promoters) should want to win. Most fans, as you say, want to watch a winning team. But this discussion started about Farnaby being replaced by Halder, and seeing as he only scored 1 or 2 anyway that hasn't made it a losing team from a winning one, regardless of what Halder does. Are you saying the Storm team generally has been built too weak? Or the league is too weak? Perks rode a few meetings for Scunthorpe last season. Cradley didn't find him.

That just means he can't guest in the PL as an NL only guest (ie when a PL team has no facility), it doesn't affecting guesting in the NL at all. -
I don't see how a 15 year old who has only been racing 500s a few months yet is already consistently winning MDL races, NL challenge races and has made consecutive British Youth champs finals and can become a club asset is not a better option that someone 5 years his senior, has barely scored this season or last season and is owned by another club. Using him and Walker seems a much better option to me. At the end of the day its about development and not just who will score the most in the next meeting.

Very good signing. He's clearly genuinely talented and looks very smooth.
