Why is Garrity guesting whilst injured. Surely he should rest up as it was guesting for an other team that made his injury worst last time and then we ended up missing him -
Belle Vue, Kings Lynn Or Swindon For 3rd/4th Spot
mdmc82 replied to Trevor's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Coventry are safe. If Belle Vue get the maximum points available at home and 4 away points at Wolves then Coventry only need 1point from their remaining fixtures. If Belle Vue drop any points then Coventry don't need any. -

You have said yourself that your reserves have been poor of late. You also were able to replace your tier 1 reserve with another Tier 1 rider unlike Coventry. We went into it depleted with no Garrity who's been amazing, no Robson with RR covering it, No Hans and a injured King. -

That's the sad thing. We have had a great season but what's that going to count for when the promotion look to have given up and we could have a humiliating meltdown at the worst time. I understand that Garrity being injured is a big blow for the team and also the management and that is not something they have control over. However the question now simply is with less than a week left for changes to be made, are they going to be happy to finish 3rd or possibly 4th in the table after being top all year and then just be happy making up the numbers in the play offs. Or even though we now can't finish top, are they going to strengthen our top 5, get the team spirit back and some confidence entering the play offs and put up a fight. -

Fans just are confused as to why the team hasn't been strengthened esp when knowing we have points spare and Robson was out -

Should be able to get a facility for him. Swindon are definitely having a lot of luck. Depleted bees last night, no Janowski Mon and now no Iversen. -

Didn't Poole compete against and easily beat Swindon only a couple of weeks ago. -

[quote name="CB252" post="2668806" timestamp="1440193455 A shambles of a day on and off the track as expected. Judging by the reaction of the few Bees fans there I think most of us are past caring /quote] After what had been a brilliant season for the bees up until the last couple of weeks, it's sad to see it all fall apart at the business part. We have been top all season and have had some cracking wins home & away. Tonight would have been closer without RR & with Garrity and a fit king. However I still am not convinced we would win. The same against Poole. We ruined our chance of finishing top weeks ago when we didn't replace Robson and used guests/RR instead. -

King's Lynn are without Iversen which is going to make it harder. He's riding in Danish league. -

Summers & Howarth both know the tracks well and I think both would are better than Robbo. Summers scored 9 on the visit before. He was unwell when he scored 1. Walasek didn't score as I thought he would. Hans Andersen came 3rd in the Danish Final tonight. -

We have simply been out classed tonight by a better team. After the season we have had, it was Sad to see people leaving at the interval, very disappointed and looking deflated Two questions 1. Do those who said it was a silly idea when I suggested replacing Robson with Summers still think that? 2. Does Watson & co still think we don't need to strengthen at no 2? All in all that was the worst bees performance I have seen in a long while and without a change and improvement in form, we will just be making up the numbers. Well done to Danny Ayres who put up a good fight. Really concerning watching Sarjeant as he looks a shadow of the rider he was last season. -

RR for Robson without Garrity to take them, when we could have signed a 6pt rider. Where are the cherry pick of guests you were telling us about Watson? Hope King is up to it though as risky when already using RR. Otherwise maybe Howarth could have been an option. Predict 36-54 -

We have Garrity, Robson, Hans & King missing. There isn't much of the team left. If you look at my recent posts, please can you show me where I have said he is a massive rider for Coventry? If anything I have said he is struggling for form. Also I have mentioned several times when weaker riders have been used for riders high on the draft that it's a mockery (look at Lakeside tonight) The worst part today isn't just the guest, even worse is the lack of communication from the club. -

Our management had a good idea Garrity was injured Wed. However I suggest they stop with the secrecy and let the fans know who they have guesting Close 😂😂😂😂😂 I take it you know who's guesting for King & Robson as well then? -

Lol. Can't wait to see him in races against Swindon's 2nd string. The draft is a joke when you have to replace a rider near the top of tier 1 with a rider at the bottom of tier 2. At least Swindon have a tier 1 guest for Wright -

If that was the case they would have announced it. Poor from the management when nothing confirmed either way. The meeting starts in 2 and a half hours so they must know now. Wonder why no Ashley Morris? Not from 15 metres though and now he will put himself under more pressure. Garrity would have been able to beat summers -

If that is the case than you can see why no team news announced! I'm a season ticket holder and even I would consider sitting it out. Would have been better to use our own rider in Shuttleworth than Ayers. -

My friend and her sister live in In Halesowen so not too far, however they have now decided to give it a miss as the silence from the promotion this near to the meeting can only mean bad news.I imagine there are a lot who will feel the same. Why pay £18 and find out the team as you enter the stadium. -

mdmc82 replied to Grachan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Even the Swindon press release says Coventry have injury concerns over several riders, which suggests nothing was confirmed on who was riding. I imagine what's taking so long is they have left it to check if King or Garrity are fit to ride today and they have said no which means they are now trying to find guests. With no riders left on the draft (except Morris who might not be allowed to guest even though Sarjeant guested for King's Lynn yesterday) we may now be asking to add a lower rider to it. As for the Robson situation, there was always a chance he would be out so surely they had a guest on standby? It has the feel of one of those meetings where the results known really before it starts and it's just about getting it out of the way. Imagine a lot of travelling Coventry fans will leave it, as no team news. Could be a low crowd tonight
