  1. Because Summers won't be guesting twice. On Wednesday he will be riding for his own team.
  2. It's still early so still a while to see how the weather is for the next couple of hours. Hoping we get to see some racing today. It would be good for the riders esp Howarth to have some race time before Wednesday's Sky meeting. With Lakeside and Coventry both having no meetings next week, surely if this does get called off then a new date would be announced asap.
  3. Yes Stefan is a bees asset so it will depend on if Coventry decide to protect him in the draft over Sarjeant.
  4. It's been raining already but as Bee 26 said, it will depend how heavy and how the track holds up. http://m.bbc.co.uk/weather/cv8
  5. Cook and Nicholls both riding well at the moment and would be good guests if available this week.
  6. Surely if that was the case then they wouldn't get a facility. He is declared in the team on both Coventry & Lakeside's websites so maybe it was just hearsay
  7. With Coventry already having riders missing this week and a busy week of fixtures on Mon, Wed, Thur & Fri (Plus Harris has challenger Sat) it's a big risk Bomber guesting in this. I hope he stays safe.
  8. Would make a good guest for King on Thur for bees if true 😉I agree if that is his figure then Bees should definitely sign him next year, however with Belle Vue having their new stadium, it depends what he would want to do.
  9. A good win for Belle Vue Does anybody know what Nicholls average is from 1st Sep. surely it's not the one stated on the new averages? http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/e15_issue_22.pdf
  10. This is Lakeside's last meeting of the EL season Kyle Howarth returns for the bees at no 2 Sadly Kylmakorpi was injured in Denmark Friday night so a guest will be needed for him. (I wouldn't say no to Zengi or Kildemand 😉) For Lakeside, Summers guests for Bech Branford guests in place of Birks.
  11. I imagine Zagar is feeling very secondhand this morning. It was a nasty crash. The 7 day rule doesn't count if guesting for a number 1. With Belle Vue's recent refuse to let riders guest, I hope both The Aces and Robins are willing to help Coventry out with guests for Kylmakorpi this week as Coventry have been very good with helping other teams out with guests this year, esp Swindon
  12. I went to the Sunday double header a couple of weeks ago and it was one of the most enjoyable I have seen this year. It moved at a great pace, without any hold ups and with some great racing. Unfortunately Exclusions and Crashes happen and can cause delays. The promotion have no control over this.
  13. http://www.coventrybees.co/news.php?extend.3311
  14. Dan Greenwood's health is personally more important to me. Yes it's unfortunate that two meetings didn't get to be run but Dan was in need of another ambulance and it would mean a delay which is why the meeting was abandoned. I hope he's okay
  15. Weather forecast looking good for this. Sunny with blue skies so far this morning 👍🏻☀️
  16. Already announced in bees site. £10 for anybody with an admission ticket to this meeting or Coventry's home fixture against Lakeside on Monday
  17. Anybody who attended tonight, if you keep your admission ticket then on showing it at Brandon on Wednesday you can get in for £10
  18. I agree with you. Whilst we may all at sometime disagree and debate about speedway and our teams, this is something we should all be united in and it's been nice once again to see most people putting their differences a side and coming together. As many of you know, I have never been Ward's biggest fan but I would never wish injury on any rider and really hope he has a full & speedy recovery. What's happened to him is very shocking and sad. What's disappoining is that Starman is meant to support Ward & Poole and yet it's fans of other teams that are having to ask him to show respect.
  19. Coventry actually don't have any fixtures to rearrange so apart from financially it wouldn't really affect them if the cut off date had stayed 7th. Horton was supporting the other clubs that wanted it moved as well as considering we have 5 meetings in a week King's Lynn and Swindon both have meetings to rearrange whilst those teams racing on 7th now have a little space incase they are rained off
