  1. A Manchester play off team. Good on Lemon though for sticking with the 7 riders who have got his team this far
  2. Poole could finish top yet if they can improve their away form (or keep racing against depleted teams with no facilities) 😂😂😂
  3. Poole are always replacing riders so I'm not sure what the problem is? What's wrong with Wolves strengthening their team before the play off and replacing a rider who isn't scoring after being out with injury? Your comments about if Belle Vue V Wolves final then will support Aces as they have stuck with 1-7 all season made me laugh. Will you not support Poole either then as You have replaced Watt with Bjarne this year as he wasn't scoring. You replaced Holder with Hancock. Yes he was injured but JK isn't scoring after his return from injury. You brought in GP star THJ on a very low average to replace Robert Miskowiak You replaced Adrian with Kaspazak What's the difference? Poole might strengthen as well yet. I'm not sure why your worried anyway. Judging by the way you speak about your current team they should walk the play offs. You have out and out racers Bjarne & Hans, Next big things Kurtz & Newman, GP holder, Ellis who you think would have been good enough even in the 4 man SWC team. Only weakness is Buzz who isn't apparently good enough to be on the heatleader list 😉
  4. Yes Poole have been poor away this year but do you honestly think your team will lose to a side granted no facility for one of the best number 1s in the league meaning a 6pt PL rider. Plus no Kai and Morley at reserve? If you can't see this is a easy 4pts then it's you who has no faith in your team. Talk about trolling
  5. He has great scored in the PL as well. He was one of your only 2 good riders on Monday so I don't think he's currently your biggest problem. Morris is your weak link as he's not good enough to be a heat leader. Same with Josh. They are not in the same league as other PO heatleaders in Holder, Hans, Tai, Lindgren, Zagar, Cook and AJ Doyle has no back up as due to his high average, the rest of the riders signed were more 2nd strings. This team always looked very average on paper but due to Tungate & Justin having spells at reserve it made them look better for a few weeks.
  6. No. I think he's referring to a conversation Tai had with another teams promoter first
  7. The remaining meetings for the teams in the play off race. BELLE VUE (H) Swindon, King's Lynn, Coventry, Leicester, Poole +2 (A) Poole (Points available = 22) POOLE (H) Leicester, Belle Vue, King's Lynn (A) king's Lynn (No facility NKI), Leicester, Swindon, Wolves, Belle Vue +2 (Points available = 33) WOLVES (H) Lakeside, Swindon, King's Lynn, Poole, Coventry (date TBC) (A) King's Lynn (Points available = 19) LAKESIDE (H) Coventry (no facility for KK), Swindon, King's Lynn (A) Coventry (no facility for KK), Wolves, King's Lynn (Points available = 21) SWINDON (H) Poole, Leicester? (A) King's Lynn, Wolves, Belle Vue, Lakeside (Points available = 22) I think Swindon could be the team to miss out. Looking at those fixtures, apart from King's Lynn away I wouldn't be confident of them picking up points in the others. Tough for them against mainly play off rivals. A lot of the teams still have to race each other which will have a big say in who finishes top and who finishes 5th
  8. Have to feel for KL fans. We have the same to come with Kaspazak against Lakeside. Poole should easily pick up 4pts tonight. We were average and yet we went to King's Lynn and got 4pts against a full strength side so Poole should be looking to win with ease against a depleted side with no facility at No 1. This realistically helps rule King's Lynn out of the play off push
  9. Great news for Wolves and should really help them in the play offs. Shame Tai is only willing to ride for them though when he has nothing else to do. Would he have come back if they weren't already in the Play offs? if rumours are true that have been flying round for weeks, credit to the manager of Tai's first choice PO team for telling him he was sticking with the line up he already had. 👍🏻
  10. Love the fact British speedway is now good enough for Tai now his other teams haven't made the play offs. I wonder if he would be returning if Wolves if they weren't in a play off place 😉
  11. With JK now sacked at Wolves and it looking like Tai could be replacing him, I wouldn't rule them out now either
  12. Kylmakorpi @WolvesSpeedway making changes in the team and unfortunately I'm not going to end the season with the team. I take it this means Tai is willing to come now he knows Wolves on in the play offs.
  13. Very bad luck for King's Lynn. No Iversen and his replacement riding through pain barrier. No S Lambert and now no Howarth and now using weak reserves to replace Kai. Poole should easily hit 60 against an extremely depleted King's Lynn. That said, I think Poole would have beat a full strength Lynn.
  14. Those above teams look even worse than PL. very watered down. No thanks. Would rather have the teams we have now but something needs to be changed with the draft and the format. Should set a point limit for all 7 riders like before but make it that each team is to have a min of 2 Brits in the 7.
  15. We had meetings Fri & Sat do the crowd was bound to be a lot less with it being on tv. Stadium very open so people dotted around. Crowds are very good when not televised, which is good seeing we have struggled this season. Didn't Ford recently show concern for your fallen crowds in the paper? Not good when you have a strong team, always win and still numbers are down.
  16. Josh Bates finished 3rd in the F.A.S.T Golden hammer meeting tonight behind Howarth & Worrall. http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/15969/golden-hammer-cradley-9-2016
  17. Not really as we are racing for fun now not play offs so no real pressure. I expected Swindon to get a narrow win. Was actually surprised how bad they were. Worst visiting team this season that's for sure. Wolves were one of the best on their first visit That was the first home meeting at the track so was early days before track was sorted
  18. Nowhere near 4pts at Cov. If they race like that at King's then they might come away with nothing again
  19. That says a lot about the rest of your team then 😂 He's been one of the worst riders I've seen at Brandon this year. Holder was by far your best
  20. Hans is on a 2 year deal so Poole are stuck with him again next year 😂😂
  21. JK was in talks with Coventry until the heatleader list was released (and King was on it) and then we wouldn't have him. Looking at his scores for you that might have been a good thing. His average must be dropping a lot though so would have him next year if no heatleader list. Sam Masters has been the success story for Wolves this year but like Swindon without Tungate, they struggle abit without them at reserve.
  22. He has had a brilliant comeback from being out since June with a broken arm. He got a full 15pt Max in his first PL meeting and then scored paid 17 at Leicester. Had problems with bikes last night but still won two races. Got to love a Garrity interview. Lad had such a love for the sport which is great to see. No it was done at 3 other British tracks plus a German track which is great. We get that you just don't like Bates. Those of us who don't support Poole can give him credit for being British U21 Champion twice, doing well in current World U21 series and on a brilliant display last night
  23. We were saying last night how when you look at how Morris was for us and Glasgow 5 years ago, he looked like he had a big future and talent. However he doesn't seem to have improved a huge amount in that time esp as the league line ups are weaker now. I think a move away from Rosco & Swindon might be what he needs. Might be missing PL
  24. Wow what a huge result for Belle Vue against a team previously unbeaten at home. Brilliant to see Nicholls score so well.
