  1. Don't remind me 🙈 Still stuck watching one of them now
  2. Harris looked like his head was down from the start and wasn't his usual self. We were talking in the stands saying we thought it looked like he wasn't in after Rosco informed rider that morning. Bates didn't look any different to watch. Worrall is on standby so shouldn't really affect him. It is good to see a fast draft rider involved. Yes it's on his home track but he's riding well away as well. Credit to Mark Lemon and Newcastle as he's really progressed this year. It was a great move for him leaving Swindon and joining The Aces
  3. Would have picked Bates myself as he's proven himself in the U21s and in becoming British U21 champion in the same meetings as Ellis. However it's really just to make up the numbers as neither would do a lot if we have to use them. Worrall was great at Brandon last night. Enjoyed watching him more than Cook
  4. Talks were still on going between the council & owners so it was pushed back. Should know in the next week or so. 🙏🏼 Lots of different rumours flying around but nothing confirmed as yet
  5. No because Rosco hasn't included the likes of Kennett, Barker or Bridger 🙈
  6. Didn't King win races off the other gates at Belle Vue? He can't have got the title by being on gate 4 all night Cook is my worry as if he doesn't gate then he's not good at all. Not a good racer and struggles against the big boys. That said Harris isn't good at Belle Vue. Nicholls really out of form. Let's hope King, Tai & Lambert can dial in quick and get us on the podium.
  7. I'm not sure Cook would have done as well as King did at Cardiff. Also Danny was the best at the British Final throughout the meeting & in the final. Once King hit the dirt Cook had no answer
  8. Don't agree that Nicholls was unfairly excluded which is why I haven't put it. I commented that the ref was inconsistent. He brought back the same race 3 times due to riders jumping but yet let Zagar do it in heat 1, King in heat 6 & R Worrall in heat 8 King & R Worrall both jumped by a mile so evened that one out.
  9. No home track advantage yet but still top of the league based on the fact your also good away this year. If the team can get to grips with the home track and find some advantage, this could be their year
  10. Scored and produced good racing. Barker is doing neither
  11. Not sure. Sky always seem to avoid Leicester. I would have preferred either Coventry's home or away ones against the Lions being moved for tv
  12. The only good race Barker had was when he was on a good 5-1 with Woryna but then his bike stopped which meant he blocked Woryna directly behind him which let Fricke through. That was the same bike Kaspazak had to quickly grab in heat 13 when his bike blew on his way out under the 2 minutes. We couldn't buy luck tonight We have really missed Garrity
  13. The ref was very inconsistent wasn't he. Bad luck or not a wins a win. Good luck in the play offs 👍🏻
  14. Congratulations to Belle Vue on the win. Was a close meeting although not the best racing wise we have had. Bit of bad luck tonight. First Barkers bike stopping when him & Woryna were on a 5-1 and Gutted that KK blew his engine on his way out in heat 13 & had to jump on Barkers (of all the bikes🙈) as he had been brilliant in his 2 races prior which also meant he wasn't in 15. Sod's law that just cos the reserves turned up, some of the top 5 didn't. Much better from Woryna tonight. If only he could do this all the time instead of just now & then. was good to see him get up from his crash. Why wasn't he is heat 14. I'm really hoping that's the last we have seen of Barker Watching tonight, I'm not sure if Cook or Harris should be in team gb. Harris had a bad night but still managed to go from last to first around Zagar & Cook. I was surprised Cook was in heat 15 and not Fricke. Steve Worrall was great to watch tonight. Leaving Swindon & joining Belle Vue was one of the best things he did. Good luck to Belle Vue in the play off races. I'm hoping they go on to win the title. Some interesting talk at the stadium which would explain a few things. Talk is Horton isn't returning next year regardless of what happens with the stadium which might explain why no new signings and why he's not bothered about play offs. A ex rider & his dad are considering offering their services if we still run but just in the consideration stage at present. He was very good tonight. However that's one meeting at of several
  15. This is going to be a huge task for us tonight. I think Belle Vue are the best team in the league when you look at their 1-7 and are very good away from home. A win or draw tonight & they go top. Think our reserves are going to struggle again tonight. Now we can't make the play offs, with Belle Vue having some of my face riders, I hope Belle Vue go on to win the title (just hoping they don't win tonight lol though)
  16. Exactly. We are yet to see Ellis ride at Belle Vue so he hasn't beaten anybody there & could score 0. I think Rosco will pick Adam but I hope for our sake nobody gets injured
  17. It's a credit to both teams when you think 7 of the 10 riders short listed for the team GP squad are from these two teams 🇬🇧👍🏻
  18. Yes as Bates has a higher EL average than Stefan If true then it looks like they were denied the change which makes sense looking at Lanhams EL average. Danny Ayres is in great form so good news for Swindon. Pedersen, Robson & Ayres good choices at Lakeside
  19. He was coming in as a draft rider with only NL & PL experience when he first rode in the WL so can hardly compare them. Woryna has been brought in to the team in the main body and has experience against big names. I think Woryna has potential in a few years time just not yet. We watch him every meeting not just in one like you. It's not his fault as he's only a 4pt rider, it's our team building that has made it harder and exposes him although that said he should be able to score against some of the FDR. He would have been best at no 8.
  20. SHEFFIELD star Jason Garrity has had to pull out of this weekend's Premier League Fours at Peterborough.
  21. Unless Robson has pulled out & it's for him. If not then the rules must have changed again as Poole weren't allowed Robson to replace Newman as he had a higher EL average
  22. But Lanham has a higher EL average than Stefan
  23. It says on Twitter that Branford is no longer guesting and it's likely to be Leigh Lanham instead. That would mean Swindon would have no fast draft riders in their team tonight. Lanham also has a higher EL average than Stefan who's only a 3pt avg so surely that would be against rules?
