Whilst I think in the future he will grow as a rider, I do think watching the SWC last night it did show that Robert Lambert is still a while away from being ready to contest with the GP type riders. I think he needs another couple of years yet as even on home shale he struggled last night.

The track was terrible and boring yesterday. Tonight it delivered. The racing was much better and great for passing which made it a great meeting. As Scott has said before, the track is different from one meeting to the next when contributes to the lack of home advantage for the Aces

Lambert tried hard but found it difficult although every point is important. King came very good in the end with a 2nd and a win and good from cook. What a fightback from Team GB. Brilliant to finish with a silver medal. Congratulations to Poland and our bees no 1 on winning the World Cup. I felt confident that GB would get silver once I saw Lindgren was in the last 2 heats. I have to agree. Woffy has been brilliant so far but no support. You can see the riders trying but King isn't coping at all,Cook is riding like he's never seen the track and Lambert looks average. Not a lot of racing from them although that said each race is a tough line up. I personally am missing Bomber's fighting spirit tonight and having him there with his experience.

The racing has been better in 4 heats tonight than it was in the whole of the race off.

Nicholls speaks about needing team spirit. That's something our team might lack as they haven't trained together or spent time together. Rosco isn't great at getting teams motivated as we have noticed sometimes when heads are down. It's good to see Tai there tonight in the pits with the Aussie team 😉
