  1. What a load of crap. Need to bring Roynon in for Sarjeant as he couldn't do any worse. Woryna is getting worse each meeting. Surely there must be somebody out there we can replace him with. We need to get Bates back to reserve. If Horton wants to win again this season then bring in Mads & Roynon for Woryna & Sarjeant!
  2. All the forecast I saw only ever forecast light showers. No rain during the day. It's been overcast abit but had sun as well with a good breeze. Had a bit of rain late last night but path is dry. All weather forecasts are looking dry now 👍🏻 Current weather: Blue sky, sunny and windy 🌤
  3. Not sure exactly what happened. His girlfriend has spoke about it on Twitter and I had heard yesterday that he was having problems with breathing. If you know anything about Harris then you would know that he doesn't make up injuries after bad results. He was close to pulling out tonight which he doesn't consider easily
  4. Chris Harris was riding through the pain barrier for Cardiff GP and should really be sitting out for the bees tonight but is still doing to ride anyway. He's struggling with an injury he got Thursday
  5. Chris Harris is riding with an injury he got Thursday but has declared himself fit to race tonight as he doesn't want to let Coventry down. Let's hope he's ok.
  6. Ours has been a track he's struggled with. His highest score has been 5 from 5 rides so far at Brandon even when in form like last year and as a 2nd string. He would have been a heatleader tonight so I would think RR will easily score more than 5, 3 from NKI ride alone. At home I do think he will be a much bigger loss
  7. Top post & very true. As a bees fan I'm always proud to have him in our colours 🐝🇬🇧
  8. Exactly. One of the biggest problems this year is our reserve pick was poor but because a replacement must come from the list, there are no better riders available to make chances there. I think there must be a lack of riders willing to sign as if big names were willing to come over then Poole wouldn't have settled for Pedersen. The problem here is the team he put in place at the start of the season always looked weak. I think Havvy should be given more say.
  9. Maybe we should have a thread on the point of Pete CC and his pointless posts. 😉 I think it's sad and desperate creating a post aimed at slagging off a rider based on one competition. I can't seem to find your topic named after other riders who are also struggling in it so far this year & out the top 8. 👎🏻
  10. You actually seem to do better with guests looking at the Lakeside win 😉 Which was in place first, this or Poland?
  11. He had injured it abroad during the week. Brandon has always been one of his worst away tracks (scores on visits 2,0,2 and 1,3,1,0,0) however I was looking forward to seeing him. All riders can take his rides which means more rides for NKI, Rory & Troy who usually ride Brandon well 😕
  12. Howarth for Lambert and Rory for Mads at Brandon strengthens them whilst Barker for Garrity definitely weakens us 😖Yes we have won at King's Lynn this year but strong teams like Wolves & Belle Vue have lost to them and they got a point at wolves with a 6man team and that was without Rory so I don't see it being easy, esp without Bates now at reserve.
  13. Riding order for tomorrow COVENTRY: Krzysztof Kasprzak, Ben Barker, Danny King, Josh Bates, Chris Harris, Kacper Woryna, James Sarjeant. KINGS LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Kyle Howarth, Rory Schlein, Troy Batchelor, Robert Lambert, Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen, Lewis Rose.
  14. But isn't their missing draft rider Wilkinson, who has a 3.46 average which is lower than Howarth? Lambert is just that back up rider.
  15. Will Kaspazak and Hans be riding in this? Wasn't sure when the SEC practice is. I still can't believe Pedersen is at reserve. How did he drop to a 4pt average 🤔 Please can you change the date on the topic heading as its 15th we are at home
  16. He's almost got it right the last two years. Last year we had a great season and were very unlucky to be hit with injuries to Garrity & JK before play offs. However I'm not sure how he went from that team to this one! Yes the heatleader list caused problems as it meant we could have the 4 he wanted but his reserve picks were terrible.
  17. Yes they are the rules. However Howarth now has a lower average than Lambert http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/el16_issue_21.pdf
  18. What are the chances of somebody having that kind of money though? Does that mean no lease if nobody else buys it?
  19. Why are King's Lynn using Howarth as a guest for Lambert tomorrow night? What's wrong with Wilkinson who is declared as their main reserve?
  20. Well said. If we are talking about Chris Harris as a rider then I think he is a brilliant one. Forget the GPs as that's just one competition (that said, he made the final recently & a lot of other riders didn't even qualify for this year's GP) As a league rider he would always be first on my teamsheet. I have the pleasure of watching him race at Brandon and pull off some of the best last to first moves round the outside. He always gives 100% for my club but also for all those clubs he guests for. How many riders will guest at short notice and put in the same effort as if it's his own team. He's the highest averaged British rider in the EL He has been amazing in the world cups and rides with a passion for his country. All in all, he's a damn good rider 🐝🇬🇧👍🏻
  21. I would agree with that if I was team manager. TAI: as much as I don't really like him as a person, it would be madness not to have him in the team. He's a great rider. KING: would be the 2nd rider on the team sheet for me. He was the stand out rider on the Belle Vue track in the British Final, he's in good league form and he was brilliant in a tough line up at Cardiff last night. Proven he can mix it with strong riders. LAMBERT He has a lot of talent esp when it comes to racing from behind and he seems to ride the track well. It's hard to know what he will do when up against a strong line up but he copes okay in the league so I would give him the chance. For me the last place would be between Harris & Cook. HARRIS: I won't read to much into the British Final as he tried a new engine for that meeting and it didn't work for him. However for Coventry he has been racing very well in the EL and had a good meeting when he got the set up in Prague. He always rides well in the World Cup. My only concern would be if he can adapt to the Belle Vue track as not his best so far. Harris is also the highest averaged Brit in the EL. COOK: should benefit from home advantage but when you look at his home form it's been very up and down. He can be a good gater but as we saw in final he does sometimes stick to one line so not a out and out racer. I would see how they both do it practice on the day and decide then. For me Nicholls is struggling at his home track and is not in the best form. He's one of my fave riders but i don't think he should be in the team just because he is willing to ride for team GB this year, where was he the last couple of years when we needed him. That leaves between Bates & Ellis for reserve. Tbf I think both would struggle against the top riders so would just be there to make up numbers.
  22. Rules don't allow RR for Ellis. It has to be a guest from FTD. When is Newman due back?
