Today to be fair Gavan he was in the wrong place most of the time,saying that he would of done well to get out of the semi's he will be back. Lindgren today really impressed me Smolinski was great value well done to him god his aquipment looks quick.

A ring of Arrogance there! sad really "gustix" i have enjoyed your posts generally but you have to remember there are alot of people on this forum who maybe are not in a professional capacity but they know there speedway.

Any newcomer watching the sport for the first time would of enjoyed this meeting and would watch again.It just shows what a great sport and product that we have such a shame that everybody cannot work together. And really push the whole speedway scene forward criminal really can it happen in my lifetime i very much doubt it.

Good point Bruce did outfox Ole and that was rarely done but my point was if Chris had not of been so alert and aware and was head down that could of been a dire incident in the semi Final.

They were all hard but fair,do you not think the race was similar to the Penhall v Olsen race in 81?where Ole fairly gave Bruce racing room at the finish.Nicki is great value and a great rider but for me he pushes thing's a tad to far.

i really enjoyed the meeting and well done to the German, anyone but Pedersen what a dirty rider thank god he didnt collect Chris in the semi final.The racing was excellent different lines it did cut up though ruts on the inside Lindgren was outstanding i think he showed what he is capable of at this level.Pedersen that's why i think he is not up there with the real greats we know you have to be tough in competition but he constantly goes to far in my book. A shame really because he is that good he does not need to do it.

Even though i was a massive Lee fan i did also like Carter i am sure he got his first cap for England at the Abbey v Australasia.?

He has to prove to me that he can do it over a PERiOD i mean 5 to 7 years i am not convinced he has done well but he in my mind is not in the same league as Craven, Lee,Collins we shall see.

None of us know the lad, his parents have done a great job done everything for him possible which we all try to do as parents also Robert seems like a level headed lad, Germany has treated him well and he feels a spout of loyalty towards them why not good luck to the lad.I am hoping he comes through,my answer to Robert is don't listen to much to what people say on this forum you have talent and you live and die by your own career choices good luck for the future.

Yes you are correct "iris, in 77 both had qualified for White City i can remember Bast moaning that he was not allowed the track practice that he was promised hence after that year i think when he had qualified he did not bother coming over here.

WK PC and Lee should of been around for at least another five seasons at the top level but it wasn't to be.What frustrated me was that from 83 onwards the two Danes dominated until the the late 80s Ermolenko and Moran showed they were good anough to rock the boat.But in 83 Lee showed he could compete and beat the Danes and Carter too, both had good head to head records with both of them.PC after his Arm/ shoulder injury he was finished at the top level he was unfortunate because the 70s era was a damn site harder than the 80s.

I am in Stockholm on the 25 th April, can anyone tell me is there any racing there that weekend ? i know it is expensive in Sweden does anyone know the cost roughly thanks.
