  1. Just catching up with the scores. Great result for Ippo, getting the Moanarchs up to the thickly bit then riding away
  2. What a performance last night. Well done Ipswich. Thankfully us Tigers fans have a good sense of humour. The wheels fell off weeks ago(Berwick away) and now the axles are about to go too. The home losses have been hard to take. I fear too many riders are looking at next year's average. Hopefully a new back bone of the team for next year.
  3. Heavy showers that were forecast have changed to light rain on the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2648579
  4. The agenda or jealousy among certain fans towards the owners of Glasgow speedway is getting very very old. Yes we have been very lucky to have great owners that developed our stadium and improve the match day experience. Yes we have probably been able to attract a better standard of rider due to the facilities etc. Why can't people just be happy that there are people wanting the sport to succeed? The vast majority of the money has been spent on the stadium, everyone will agree it was well needed and the result of that money is there for all to see. Would you prefer if Glasgow were on the brink of going under and probably be lost to the sport?
  5. Most amusing. Could get a job as warm up act for Alex Salmond's comedy show.
  6. Easy 20+ win for the English Tigers. The Scottish ones seem to be free falling.
  7. I'll go for an optimistic 20 point defeat on the 31st.
  8. James is riding at Owlerton tonight so should be fit for this meeting
  9. Was just about to say, 'I wonder what Scottish club JS will be riding for next year'.
  10. They announced that both teams agreed to call it off last night. Can't see that happening today
  11. Forecast looking good. Pretty sure both teams will want 15 heats
  12. We also remember getting fined for fielding and "under strength" team after winning away from home. Its all in the past now. Lets move on and look forward to the rest of what should be an exciting season.
  13. I see Glasgow are back down at Redcar mid-August. why not race the remaining races from last week then?
  14. The way I interpret the story/evenings happenings is that the fence got repaired and got the all clear, then it transpired that Coty required more assistance. Frustrating for both camps to say the least. Redcar had a depleted team and weren't having the best of luck Tigers were a stick on for a minimum of three points more likely to be four points at that stage. Now we'll have to do it all again. More travelling time and expense for all involved Best wishes to Coty
  15. As usual, it is on till its off. Could be torrential rain through there and the chuckle brothers would be posting lovely sun kissed pictures of Armadale.
  16. Disappointed that it has been cancelled but on the grand scheme of things it is fairly irrelevant. Much rather watch team speedway than individuals trying set ups etc.
  17. The Worrall twins would of been my first choice. Still improving in my eyes and consistent at most tracks. As Gazc said Richard & Aaron will need to improve their away form.
