it was quite funny seeing the scotsman last night torn between wanting to let ayres know how cack he was and cheering him for giving the pussycats a pumping!! lol

have to make the most of any little chance to celebrate after the season so far! Danny Ayres certainly endeared himself to the crowd tonight. Great performance and all the showboating was justified. A local too......

thanks scb So it seems Edinburgh left it til just a few hours before to name Davey meaning there was insufficient time for the legitimate protest to be considered. Im putting myself in the Scunny camp from what ive seen so far.

tend to agree with this. I dont think that any of the speakers are broken but are not positioned correctly for the current stands whether it be height/direction or whatever.

Regardless of whether Davey shouldve been allowed to guest there is one point that seems to have missed. I thought the regs no longer allowed riding under protest about team conpositon? Isnt there now a section (last two years or so) setting out required timescales for protests and that once the meeting starts thats it - decision final.
