  1. Good on ya Sue - see you are still crazy after all.
  2. Some on here would make a change mid meeting if a rider missed the start in one ride if it was allowed!
  3. I very much hope to be able to aim the megaphone at Baldyman at the next home meeting and give him a blast of 'vehicle reversing'
  4. ldidnt take long for the pussycat guillotine threat to be wheeled out again then!!
  5. were all those nice things Willie said about Billy? I thought all those pleasantries were about Barker! wink/lol
  6. Thanks Baldy (or should i say blueboy) I would add that whilst we found it funny how Aryes had a strop I was overall quite impressed with him and his actions did show a passion and commitment that are commendable.
  7. Yes Macca you did 'donate' the cow bell to the 'Surrey Weegies' along with a hula hoop and sone glow sticks!! My eldest son discovered the megaphone this morning and took great delight using it to wake his younger brother. Whilst I will be far more reserved in my post that Macca (understatement) it was sad that our attempts to make some noise and have a bit of fun were looked upon by others as if aliens had landed. Although im not sure whether it was disdain disgust or mild bemusement on their faces. It does show how things have changed though as much of our antics were common place in years gone - whistles tickertape and banter etc Personally I would rate it higher than 2.5 on track last night - not a top drawer thriller but hard fought and close. Decent stuff IMO and better than most this year. Lastly - thank you Kevin for some good interviews which in the 3rd bend stand could be heard. Thankfully last night you efforts were not wasted and could be rightly appreciated.
  8. Well done Glasgow - good and deserved win. Lawsons best meeting at Foxhall to date and Worrall was sublime. Witches just seem to be missing that 1% that makes the difference when it counts. Decent meeting with some tough races but not any top drawer passes of note. Had to be content with making our own extra entertainment in the stands! Enjoyed a pint with Paulco after - good to meet you fella. Good luck to the Tigers tomorrow - hope you give those pussycats a mauling.
  9. Well the Monarchs must be worried as they had to strengthen up for our visit. Not as confident as Baldy - we may sneek a point if we are lucky.
  10. A nice win will see us rolling in Clover, give the lads a Pat on the back, and make a date in the Dairy for the next match
  11. Ive decided on liquorice allsorts instead. Think you may need your 'big coat' again tonight!
  12. Im hoping for some 'proper speedway' from this one. Think it will be close and could go either way. Would settle for 46-44!!
  13. I totally agree there has been lots of dirt too deep to use...... ....too deep to use as its been buried under a foot of rock hard top surface!
  14. Drumsticks would do for both the pick and mix and the musical ensemble.
  15. MPT 5.71 on list issued 1/6 stating due to reduce to 5.18 from 3/6. Grondal 5 so plus 5% for guest at home so can use rider up to 5.25. Now I need to lay down in a dark room having defended the pussycats usual back to the future time delayed dealings!!
  16. it will be most welcomed by some of us.....Could be a cracker.
  17. I always thought that the PA for the speedway was the clubs and different to the one used by spedeworth for the stocks but with presenter suggesting getting in touch with spedeworth that doesnt seem to be the case. Get emailing everyone!
  18. So not only did I miss a big win but also a presenter rant! Good to hear (pun intended) that the problem is now acknowledged.
  19. Well in line with one of this weeks thread themes tonight was like that Kit Kat advert with the pandas for me... ....you turn your back for one time and it all happens without you seeing it!
