  1. I think he may well have been had he not been retained by Lakeside.I believe the agreement to let him go that has been announced this year was due to be in place last year until the last minute.....
  2. Adam ended 2014 with a 4.67 average. I cant see how he can be one of the No7s. Will be a great No6 though.
  3. totally agree - to an extent it just human nature. Even the promoters (and ex ones) are human - just! wink. so thats why you had a week off - to sort it all out for Chris! lol
  4. Probably because 4 of 13 want 1 good thing another 4 a different good thing and the other 5 something else. Some will not vote for what certain others want even if it may be good as it doesnt suit them so a lot of what could be good never gets voted in. So they come up with a paper over the cracks half baked idea thats nearly good but not quite but is one they can all vote for. It all rumbles on a little different but not quite right and they do it all again next year....
  5. Heeps looking 99% sure to be somewhere other than Foxhall so available and with no visa required.
  6. so far there have been suggestions for King , Tungate, Heeps and now Hawkins..... Why dont you just become Peterborough Witches! wink
  7. The 2 year rule was only brought in last year and not back dated so 2014 not part of it. Danny is able d/u next year without a problem. Of course if it suits then at the agm at the end of 2016 the rule will just be dropped for 2017!!
  8. Even us Witches fans who partly defended him know Rohan was in the wrong. In hindsight he was lucky to get away with 21 days. I still dont think the intention was to knock Auty off but once the move had gone wrong he had to take the consequences.
  9. Whether it is currently or ever have obtained a PL average above 3 could make a big difference. Although currently assessed at 3 I think Greenwood has previously attained above 3 albeit briefly. Tom Perry also in that postion I think and maybe 1or2 more so clarification required.
  10. Id say given the nature of the crash thats about as good as could be hoped for. Could have been so much worse.
  11. I made a post on this yesterday and even had a notification of a like for it but now it is gone???? It was in no way rude or even controversial. No message about removal or any other issue. Anybody ever had a similar issue or know what could've happened??
  12. I agree with the all 4 decision as it was so tight but if there had to be an exclusion in this case it would be Greg IMO.
  13. The only good thing about that was that one of the flying bikes didnt land on a rider.
  14. Horrible - makes you feel sick! Everything crossed for Doyley.
  15. Its always the debate - when are you in front?? Some see even an inch as being enough to be able to go where you like - others will say it needs to be a bikes length. If you hit someone you are not totally in front.
  16. Has been a decent meeting so far. For one where theres pretty much nothing on it nearly everyone of them giving it plenty!
  17. Tapp half right - Troy Butler!! Probably a better chance of winning a heat mind!
  18. Have you got someone in mind Roland? Someone with local speedway connections already perhaps......
  19. tge whole point of creating a heat leader list and a second string list is that it wont simply be the top 24 are heat leaders. You will get riders on the heat leader list with higher averages than some on the second string list because they rode solely in one category and their average has skewed accordingly. Zengota a good example ended 7.79 and No1 in team list but I think he had no meetings as a heat leader. I would grade him a second string still. The fun will be where those yoyo riders are placed and who that benefits....... if you revert back to the traditional race fornat then the lists can be discarded once the impact of previous skewing drops out of the rolling averages.Given the fact that tier 1 can now move into the 1-5 there is no reason to retain the changed format. If the feel the No7 needs some protection make it that the heat 8 2/7 is set and the tier 2 cant be replaced in that one.
  20. I tend to agree HKP Speedway is strange sometimes though....
  21. I have no idea about whether his retirement was really final or indeed if too many bridges have been burned but with the new No7 regulation does Ritchie Hawkins with an average of just 3.56 become a more attractive option. He surely would improve on that in the circumstances and would mean the top 5 can be built with a strong spearhead.
  22. Of course had this agreement gone ahead last year as originally planned then Adam wouldnt have missed out on 2015 in the PL.
