youve previously mentioned that its not always a simple as it appears with decisions in the heat of a meeting...
the situation you outline may well be just one of those times.....
a bit harsh HKP
Ritchie made mistakes last year but as with most situations it wasnt all one way.
Easy to forget the previous years and his contribution as captain.
2 things that could change that
1 - brit reduction
2 - change in number of meetings used in calculation of rolling averages from the year he achieved 4.67. Is the reduction applied now or at first recalculation?
I dont disagree that we have struggled in those afternoon meetings when the sun shines but to rule out those two meetings would mean foregoing about a quarter of the whole seasons income. You have mentioned the thinning crowds on the terraces so can we afford to give up meetings that attract 3x the normal turnout?
Too many heatkeaders???
Although as we dont know the list and gow it will be adminstered perhaps not...
Hypothetical -
say Hans is listed at 24 on the list.
Buzz not on original list.
Buzz in and rated as heat leader.
Does Hans stay a heat leader or drop off he list??
You can of course switch the names for other team scenarios eg King at Cov perhaps
Each club chooses how it wants to announce the team - some 1 by 1 week by week and others all in one go.
Chris has been clear he wanted to name all 7 together when finalised.
of course it wasnt official or it wouldve been a formal announcement.I didnt agree with Beerhut naming Phil and told him so but posting what he was told (not directly from Phil and you know that without asking twice) was exactly what the forum thrives on.
The BSPA/club website is the place to look at if you only want official news.
even if it does end up different that doesnt mean the 1-7 was misheard and doesnt mean it wasnt the intended/expected 1-7.It just means it wasnt signed and hence wasnt formally announced.
Which is exactly what we did already know...
