I was playing devil's advocate to the posters saying pensioners would stop going if the price increased but more would still go with a lower price The issues you state are very true but are not not relatable to the situation re concessions and their impact

If the concession does indeed mean more pensioners attend to a point where it outweighs the gain of a price hike as people are saying then surely the same would apply to those of working age Therefore the concession should go but with the lower admission level applying and crowds would increase.......

Many good points apart from your presumptionn Ben has many faults (some significant) and he has let people down (including himself) on a few occasions These are even more frustrating as on a personal level he is a likeable character and an excellent team member I think in normal circumstances he would have burnt his bridges with the sport now after the latest transgression but speedway being speedway as it is now I expect him to be back somewhere assuming he is permitted

As ever it's all cloak and dagger How hard is it to be fully upfront with the Rising Star criteria and a full list of who qualifies? Similar applies to a full list of team building averages for EVERY rider. There is no reason it shouldn't be there plain as day for all to see

That doesn't seen to tally with quotes on other threads discussing Rew... (copy/paste below from steve54 on Poole thread) 'rode 7 matches for Krosno - 31 rides and achieved a ride av of 1.742 so 6.97 per 4 rides incl bonus points. Maybe unfair to compare with riders who rode most/all season so 16/18 matches but his av per ride was above riders such as Riss/Nilsson/Kvech/Mads Hansen/Becker/Bangs/Miedzinski/Lindback/Gala' Those mentioned all look a cut above Starke and Rew outperformed them (albeit over fewer meetings)
