  1. I was being facetious I'd love to see then both back and wouldn't want to see anything to prevent that wherever they are Rew would also be a great addition to the league
  2. Bewley and Lamber now world top 10 so should be reassed to 9 each Rew has foreign league experience- should be a 6
  3. Very friendly when throwing multiple objects on to the field at the football recently with the game close to being abandoned due to the seriousness.....
  4. The " he sought to further his development elsewhere " says it all There is no loyalty to BV as an asset - he has no choice under the current system There is no loyalty to British Speedway If he has now "developed further" then that should be reflected
  5. I'm sure they won't and in some ways that's correct as there are very few examples to date that have been amended Makes a mockery of having a points limit though when an obvious discrepancy can skew the mix
  6. A shame the thread has been hijacked by the brainless troll Yes it was a terrible night for the Witches but the majority was self inflicted The Aces though dug in and showed much greater resolve to arrest a shocking start and claw themselves back in before finishing the job with a clinical performance Fully deserving winners
  7. That's not karma - its affirmation! Karma for me would've been a big Witches win and a league title that I missed out on having attended just once in the last season and a half
  8. Not at all bothered in the scheme of things. The whole league set up is a pathetic sham I wish I felt differently and the sport was thriving After literally a lifetime of living and breathing speedway it is now just habit that keeps me following in the hope a miracle turn around might happen
  9. Truly horrific performance. A familiar pattern with big end of season meetings for so many years now
  10. Great move by Harris having a few dodgy meetings at the end , especially when the sample size is reduced to 10 meetings - he's obviously not as stupid as he looks
  11. Isn't the 17th one of the proposed dates for the pairs meetings?
  12. The fly in the ointment though is the season ending injury statement is with the regulation covering the transfer window It is therefore unclear whether it applies to any time in the season or just within the window but in addition to if a team had already made the 2 allowable changes (or in Sheffields case 3 )
  13. Only Boro riders available - Sheffield race Lynn in the final of the "season opening" League Cup
  14. Surprised no thread started already Would've called this one as too tight to name a favourite a month or so ago but the potential fragility at reserve since Danyon's injury tips it now towards the Aces Witches haven't shown the ability to pick up regular big home wins but this would be the perfect time to pull one out Even a 20 point lead wouldn't make then favourites but would make it very interesting
  15. The "in the best interests" regulation would've been invoked and a pools panel style prediction used to complete as desired
  16. Agree with that in principle although the other non ridden fixture was also a result of the Sheffield logjam - with them taking every date in the last 2 weeks preventing rearrangement due to opposition clashes
  17. Whenever it is the Witches should aim to get as close to 15 points as possible With just 10 meetings making up 2023 averages 0 from 5 or 6 rides for a couple of riders will make a huge difference to how attractive they are as signings for next season...
  18. Wouldve been time for a double header - probably could fit in the missing heats of the A fixture too......
  19. 10 heats run by 8:15 - amazing what can be done when it works in your favour......
