Rolling Averages

Thank you BSPA for not even bothering to acknowledge my email request let alone providing the info. -
I would imagine that the clubs have agreed it that way. Given that the Rebels have no facility for Aspgren to go with r/r for Morris would severely weakened them whilst Swindon can get a guest under this years regs. Also running r/r with with the Foxhall record of Allen often being Fx- withdrawn would be a big risk.wink 2nd round technically after our first round bye!!

Perhaps the masterplan is to get Cam to reserve for the playoffs at which point he will hit top form (yes I have been in the sun all day!!) -

Will be there in spirit but following on updates. Cant justify the cost of travelling even to the closer ones. (oh to be young free single and with spare cash in the pocket again!!) If we can get off to a good start then I think we could pick up 3 points. Up the Witches!! -
not at all the interest originally stems from how close Richie H and Adam are at reserve for the Witches as pre the BSPA issuing Junes figures I thought they could be the same.In that case its important as it means the difference between us getting a 'real' guest and a NL rider fot Adam when he is missing. Unfortunately for us the issued figures mean Adam is still at No7. Bizarrely that means we have a weaker guest for Adam than the Diamonds can have for Schrammy despite Adams average being a point higher and them both being reserves! But hey ho thats the rules so thats how it is!

I originally thought the same but asked the question and Neil kindly posted up the reg which mentioned going to the third or more decimal places.Even then you dont choose when identical where the riders have established averages (in this case Sneddon would stay in place as the previously highest ranked of the two) So it seems there is a definitive position but until someone releases the figures used for the calculations ( total points and rides for each) we dont know what it really is.

agree re stopping the fiddles. In the PL this year though depending on fixture timing 6 of the 24 fixtures included could be against just 1 club out of the 13. -

so unless both records are identical there is a definitive order and no choice. Thanks. Edit - Anyone have the 2 sets of figures to be able to post? -

Edinburghs June set show both Worrall and Sneddon on 5.35. It would good if someone was able to post the totals used for the calculation so it is in the open as to which has the higher average when taken to further decimal places.
