  1. Any confirmation available as to the Aussie line up? Reports in England are that Tungate has been calked up at 24 hours notice which would mean he misses the Ipswich PL fixture. Anyone have the latest?
  2. Solid all round performance. Determined efforts and a well earned win. Didnt expect to see Ritchie again after that heat 2 crash - credit to him that he done so well despite feeling so crap! Track was much much better (thanks Bob) It cant have been easy given the state it was in at the end of Good Friday.
  3. Hope you make it Baldy. The team need to take a leaf out of your book tonight too!!
  4. Glorious morning in Ipswich - warm and bright. Im actually hoping for a bit of cloud so that the track doesnt bake. Dont want to see a blue groove tonight.
  5. Auty has done significantly better on recent visits though.Howe is always good at Foxhall and Jorgensen has had a couple of excellent visits. If Douglas shows any of the form he has so far it could be a good battle.
  6. Crunch time for the Witches - this is where 'the real' season starts. Scunny have a core of riders that have a good records at Foxhall so its a tough test of what the Witches are really made of. Im expecting them to rise to the challenge and run out winners by about 10. According to the Witches site no news from Scunny as to whether they will use a guest or r/r.
  7. Somerset on the 2nd May due to be the 4th away for Gino so his new average will come into force 7 days later. Adam guaranted to stay at reserve as even if Gino gets 0 from 4 his average will be 4.82.
  8. fair enough but surely even he needs to be told what rules to apply?? On second thoughts it may have gone like this - BSPA - "Dave we've decided to use 36 and 28 matches for the averages this year" Dave - "but I already have the old versions running nicely" BSPa - "OK leave it as it is then"
  9. and full body armour as Auty and Jorgensen are in town! wink
  10. Thanks Dave - so no change in terms of number despite the format changes in both leagues. Out of interest is there an officially source for the info given it is not in the 2014 regs?
  11. Good Friday at home was dismal from any angle - performance, result, track and racing. Had this not been so dire I dont think the 2 away defeats would be getting too much attention. Only Cam has significantly under performed. Whilst Rohan has disappointed this is in the context of the expectations of him and that superb first meeting performance. Morten has had the one awful meeting but that aside he has been good value. Gino has been a revelation. Richie W superb. Ritchie H solid andseems to enjoy the captaincy. Adam looks to have moved up a notch or 2. So the team is not a problem as such so long as Cam can get sorted. The track is but it wont change overnight - it will take time so we need to find a way to work with it until it can be sorted. At least we can be sure that Bob will get it right if he is given the right conditions and materials to work with. IMO frustrating and disappointing yes but a disaster no.
  12. Looking at updates it seems someone forgot to tell any of the riders this is a meaningless fixture!
  13. This years regs do not seem to state how many matches count towards the rolling averages - only stating 'the specified number' without going on to specify it for each league! Anyone know the correct number?
  14. was 24 at the end of last year but nothing in 2014 regs as has been nentioned!Nothing in the regs either as to how the best place runner up will be decided(average points has been suggesred on here)
  15. Today was the last meeting to count towards the May averages. Anyone out there with the spreadsheet to work it out? LC group matches do count this year (a change from previous)Even with that being the case rolling averages take some time to have a real impact.
  16. A draw or better for the Witches coupledwith Berwick failing to win at Worky would see the semi final line ups decided today.
  17. Really? I dont recall Fisher hitting the fence and his footrest gouging out the kickboard.
  18. 2 or 3 must be close so work it right and you could choose who it is. Wink
  19. far from pointless - LC group matches count for the averages so the scores will go towards deciding who will be your No1.
