  1. The play offs are the semis and the final - no doubt and no possible misunderstanding Otherwise it just means you can't use a rider from the opposition - now that would be silly....
  2. Factually incorrect Signed inside the window not after the season had finished Doesn't do your position any favours if you choose to factually misrepresent a situation Do that now and when you are right ( *and usually you are) people won't believe it
  3. Just read the regulations - rather than requesting proof just make sure your own hearsay is correct before spouting off and looking foolish
  4. It was a tongue in cheek post (check the emojis) The figures were irrelevant. I was just suggesting that anyone you chose to sign should be reassessed to feed the paranoia most of you are displaying
  5. He didn't produce the goods when the heat was on though......
  6. It's complicated! I'm still here because nothing we please me more than to rediscover my enthusiasm I care passionately about speedway. I have lived and breathed it for 50 years. In its rawest form it is still the most exciting, exhilarating sport ever The current set up however has driven me away , it is tepid and soulless at best - fake and corrupt at worst The sport has lost its identity and lacks any coherent direction Perhaps being a little closer than many and having enhanced insight to certain situations over the years has helped sour my view (unfortunately) I would love to be able to just turn up and enjoy the racing
  7. Don't see what Chris's position on the BSPL has to do with the decision. There is no regulation to cover the situation so nothing to enforce Don't forget Master Bates is also at the top table so by your thinking would've being doing the exact opposite to protect his team There in lies the biggest problem - self interested gerrymandering with no consistency or transparency
  8. I was being facetious I'd love to see then both back and wouldn't want to see anything to prevent that wherever they are Rew would also be a great addition to the league
  9. Bewley and Lamber now world top 10 so should be reassed to 9 each Rew has foreign league experience- should be a 6
  10. Very friendly when throwing multiple objects on to the field at the football recently with the game close to being abandoned due to the seriousness.....
  11. The " he sought to further his development elsewhere " says it all There is no loyalty to BV as an asset - he has no choice under the current system There is no loyalty to British Speedway If he has now "developed further" then that should be reflected
  12. I'm sure they won't and in some ways that's correct as there are very few examples to date that have been amended Makes a mockery of having a points limit though when an obvious discrepancy can skew the mix
  13. A shame the thread has been hijacked by the brainless troll Yes it was a terrible night for the Witches but the majority was self inflicted The Aces though dug in and showed much greater resolve to arrest a shocking start and claw themselves back in before finishing the job with a clinical performance Fully deserving winners
  14. That's not karma - its affirmation! Karma for me would've been a big Witches win and a league title that I missed out on having attended just once in the last season and a half
  15. Not at all bothered in the scheme of things. The whole league set up is a pathetic sham I wish I felt differently and the sport was thriving After literally a lifetime of living and breathing speedway it is now just habit that keeps me following in the hope a miracle turn around might happen
  16. Truly horrific performance. A familiar pattern with big end of season meetings for so many years now
  17. Great move by Harris having a few dodgy meetings at the end , especially when the sample size is reduced to 10 meetings - he's obviously not as stupid as he looks
  18. Isn't the 17th one of the proposed dates for the pairs meetings?
  19. The fly in the ointment though is the season ending injury statement is with the regulation covering the transfer window It is therefore unclear whether it applies to any time in the season or just within the window but in addition to if a team had already made the 2 allowable changes (or in Sheffields case 3 )
