  1. The "in the best interests" regulation would've been invoked and a pools panel style prediction used to complete as desired
  2. Agree with that in principle although the other non ridden fixture was also a result of the Sheffield logjam - with them taking every date in the last 2 weeks preventing rearrangement due to opposition clashes
  3. Whenever it is the Witches should aim to get as close to 15 points as possible With just 10 meetings making up 2023 averages 0 from 5 or 6 rides for a couple of riders will make a huge difference to how attractive they are as signings for next season...
  4. Wouldve been time for a double header - probably could fit in the missing heats of the A fixture too......
  5. 10 heats run by 8:15 - amazing what can be done when it works in your favour......
  6. Totally shambolic and is part of the reason I (and many hundreds perhaps thousands) no longer attend The "top" league is not even sufficiently organised to get what is about half the traditional number of fixtures run Meetings that have a material impact on finishing positions and therefore the pairings for the league title deciding play offs not being run within cut off timescales is simply unacceptable at any level of sport let alone a fully professional top level
  7. Or likes fairytales........ sadly may be more appropriate in the circumstances to believe in them
  8. The play off semi will be 2500+ If the Witches make the final you will see 4000+ What is needed of course is to find the trick to turn a good proportion of these extras into regulars.....
  9. Think this is pretty genuine - the forecast is horrific However also convenient as at least 3 pairs could've been affected by rearranged Polish play off.....
  10. Same applies to the whole set up of British Speedway......
  11. Unfortunately I can see that being the case too which would be a great shame for an event that has the potential to be a proper showcase
  12. There should be mandatory disclosure in situations such as this
  13. The declarations are a joke. When a rider is dropped their calculations appear below the team declaration each month but are never updated from the figure at the time they were dropped! I agree that it seems strange that Cam appears no longer to be considered as having an active Premiership average but its the only reason that fits this situation being allowed
  14. I always find the naming of these roads and developments as the biggest piss take going
  15. Can only be that he isn't considered to have a Prem average any longer due to not riding any qualifying meetings this year (league cup don't count for averages) Therefore his Champ average converted fits
  16. Not sure if it was the case but it did look like they were running higher tyre pressures last night
  17. The trouble is Trees is that you love the indifferent ones , the bad ones and the downright piss taking ones just as much too.....
  18. Nothing points to having to be at 2 so BV could place Wright (or indeed any other than the No1) there and use RR elsewhere should the facility be needed
