  1. I was shouted down on various threads for suggesting Jensen could find himself frozen out due to such a dramatic improvement in 2019 - seems it's likely to be the case now Would also be a huge risk for any other club looking at his home/away split. Could easily end up dropping at least half a point For that reason as they say on Dragons Den - I'm out!!
  2. Non British rider so his average can be no lower than 4 Mind you I wouldn't want him even on a 3
  3. The only nonsense is your refusal to consider the real situation could be different
  4. Dont believe everything you read - that goes for life in general and doubly true for speedway in particular
  5. It seems Chapman never completed any deal that was initially discussed for Ipswich - no buy back was required
  6. Only if he can persuade the authorities to issue the required permits to start with
  7. Ipswich it seems never happened in the end and I've heard Boro were already traded on although nothing has ever been publically announced Typical speedway transparency!
  8. All? Do you mean both? In fact it may just be one - Kings Lynn......
  9. Did top heavy really work? It came down to getting successful replacements ie Jensen replaced a rider that may well have dropped to reserve in most teams whilst Rasser become one of the top averaged riders in the league Had that turned out like for like then Swindon may not even have secured a top 4 place. That type of change wont happen every year....
  10. I thought Poole had enough bumps already......
  11. Bold move by Sheffield and a good one for them and the league. Hopefully one or two more similar signings follow for other teams to ramp up the quality of the competition
  12. Theres bound to be at least 1 signing you wont see coming
  13. I really hope not. Would be a major disappointment for us Witches if that is the case
  14. Me too but it would be welcomed if he did. Whilst he didn't set the world alight during his short stint he certainly showed enough to convince me that with a full season he would be the No1 you would hope and expect him to be
  15. It may be about right but I would still say it should therefore be declared that he has been assessed that way as opposed to using the 2011 average That way if another rider returns to the league after such a long break he can be reassessed fairly rather than a precedent having been set of using such an old average It's not just about NP but thinking a few steps ahead as to how someone else may use such a decision to manipulate a future change to gain unfair advantage
  16. You are probably right but using an average that is 9 years old is crazy IMO
  17. Replace pit boards? Wheres the money for that? Perhaps it will be some black paint and a stick of chalk instead
