What has that got to with Oct ? as I said they are going to finish with 11 days to spare ...The problem was with what Sky tv wanted not what time of year is was . If the play offs were in September and Sky gave them certain dates and time scale that had to have the final on and it rained the problems would be the same .

Why would there be a better chance of decent Weather ..Oct as a rule has been dryer than August in recent years . What has been the problem this year ? they gave themselves 26 days to run 6 meetings and if they get the match on tomorrow they will have finished with 11 days to spare .

What we need is great stadium etc to brink the fans back ....Like Brum ,Oxford and London ...looks at the crowds and how well they done . just go's to show how important it is to speedway fans how plush the stadium is .

Any year pre play offs ...There is only 6 matches to be Ran in Oct now in the el ...how many do you think there was pre plays offs I expect it was 15 -20 .

October has been a lot drier than August in the last few years ..To be fair I not really seen any problem with how things have work out this year . They gave themselves 26 days to race 6 matches but for some reason people got into panic mode just because a match was called off a couple of times . Thou speedway got a lot of problems some of the moaning this year has reached crazy levels . I think the best one was when someone said the El was to Blame because Doyle had turned up late at Poole after being caught in a traffic jam . As for guests it's ok for people to moan about them but intill someone comes up with a better idea that works better then there is little point moaning about them . It will never be problem as there always 4 weeks to do 6 matches ...in the old days the league was settle in oct many times and I expect there was more than 6 matches to run then plus ko finals etc ..Rain at this part of the season in fact is more of a problem then that it is now as there was many more fixtures .

Spot on ..standard moaning about things you can't do much about and not giving any suggestions or how things could be better .. Sounds like he should join the forum . Hardly a eye opener more like same old same old .

Newport v Swindon in a pl match some years ago when Rosco was at reserve for Swindon ...at least 20 re runs 5 track grades and around 4 and a half hours ...I think there might have been a junior match after as well .

You said it on a Wolves topic I think a few weeks back ...you comment was that Puk scores were poor in the uk because he tired .Thou he was scoring well in Sweden and Poland . As I said at the time is he only tired when he's in the uk ? . It's common sense that riders and going to invest and are going to need better engines etc where the money Is .. So as I said Tai poorer equipment or lack of money spent is in the uk .Hence why he so slow this year and has got a 7 point average while in the rest of the world he is doing very well and super quick .

Does it ? it infers that they have there better bikes at the places where it is more important .. Do you really think that Woffy has the same standard equipment in the uk as he has in Poland in Sweden etc . What makes me laugh is when people like you say riders are not scoring well in England because there tired but then the next night score 15 in Sweden v much better riders .

Why would anyone talk about the X Factor as it's not a sport like Darts or Speedway ...No one ever said that Speedway was easy or having a fast bike was the only requirement but it's common sense that without certain speed you are going to do very well no matter how good you are .

Not a chance Woffy bikes had unreal speed and make a average rider a World Champion . I have my doubts that they were even legal . Another away to look at if all bikes were standard would have he had won ? not a chance

So when you get a engine tuned etc it costs the same money no matter who you go to ? . No matter how Woffy done it his bikes were quicker than the others so as I said it was not pure skill it's as much about your bikes or cars in Motor racing.

How many bikes, engines etc do you think Rickardsson had in the old days ? sure your going to get it right all the time but it's gives you a much better chance . Do you think in f1 that the teams with the more money have more chance of getting the set up right ? of course they do . Unless you have standard bikes or standard cars etc then Motor Sport is never going to pure skill

Tai Woffiden would not have won the world title unless he had and could afford those super quick engines he had last year the same as Lewis H would not be leading the world champion in f 1 if was he in another team . On the other anyone can buy the same Darts as Phil Taylor uses . So as I said Darts is pure skill while Motor Sport is not .

Darts is classed as a sport it's as simple as that ..unlike speedway it's pure skill rather than who has the fastest bike .

The Lions have had there best year money wise in the El this year by all accounts ..Clubs find it hard it all leagues and club tend to go bust because they are poorly run as a rule ... Brum lost a packet in the PL Boro have done the same this year . One of the biggest problems we have is thinking that the PL is doing well .
