Why are the Poole fans worried what Glasgow think of Thomsen? It’s merely a point of view about how riders ride different tracks Poole would be wasting their time signing a team of racers like say Harris or Pickering or Wright because the Poole track suits gaters There are probably riders of less overall ability then Thomsen who would do better with Glasgow as a home track Bit like when Kurtz rides Foxhall as he is awful there and riders like Lawson and Kvech who are more of a danger to us then Kurtz

Some interesting points came out of the town hall parade today Rew wants to come back Ellis doesn’t want to do british speedway next season Dan T has been offered good money elsewhere Doyle Brennan and Edwards already signed Jenkins was the only rider NOT asked if he wants to come back All of these are rumours by the way lol

First team a mile off There is no way Ipswich will not have a team with 2 of King Rew and Ellis in it You have also missed Dan T off of both teams and he will be back We have 3 certain starters … Doyle , Brennan and Thompson … the rest will be dependent on the new points limit

I’m sure one day you will actually work out how the sport goes with regards to home and away matches You won away at Kings Lynn, Oxford twice and Birmingham … in a 7 team league they were the 3 weakest You have built a team that can’t ride at a track like Ipswich or Leicester ….. certain riders go better at certain tracks Your 1-7 is better than Kings Lynn … but none of your team can ride Foxhall where as riders like Kvech Klindt Harris and Lawson go well there As an Ipswich fan I’d have much rather faced a team of riders that can’t ride Foxhall then a team that can Come to us next season with the same 1-7 and you have no chance

Poole fans what a disgrace walking our before the end of heat 15…… Said it before the fan base are fickle and can’t handle losing Well done Redcar the track awful and what was Lawson playing at I just hope Cooper Rushen does not go there next season it could ruin his career

But that’s 6 of the 7 from last season that were woeful away from home and the one rider you left out in Zach Cook was awesome at home Brady and Dan are the best top 2 in the league Id definitely have Brennan over Lidsey With Blodorn he was awful last season maybe the SGP2 win will help him but he basically was the worst number 2 in the league All season your fans moaned about the 2 reserves and Norick and now you want all 3 back?

This is still going on Poole set up their track to win matches …. It’s boring it’s tedious and it’s not exactly speedway … they signed a team of primarily gaters and no real racers so they aren’t going to make the track for a racer The thing is as most speedway fans of a certain age know is that Poole fans only want to win … good ethos maybe … but if the Poole team had 7 racers and great home meetings then the fans would stay away if the team was only 4th or 5th … many times over the years Poole was close to closing especially in the 80’s when they weren’t winning …. Very very fickle fans Of course it’s nice to win the league but every Ipswich fan would still go to watch Doyle and Emil even if we wasn’t at the top … Poole fans are different always have been

Glasgow and Belle Vue are miles ahead of any other track that’s for sure Most other teams make the best of what they have to provide entertainment and good racing …. I say most

They enjoy being a big fish in a little pond these days Roll on another season where Poole find 7 riders who can make gates for fun and win the league … give me Doyle Emil and Tom over Lawson and Kerr and Cook each week

Ipswich isn’t a good racetrack I don’t disagree Thing is we don’t doctor it to make it even worse than it already is … if you watched the final against Leicester there was lots of controversy and passing Poole fans can’t accept how bad it is to watch speedway at Poole As I said earlier enjoy the win but might be nice if once in a while the odd Poole fan spoke sense

Don’t forget he rides at a track where there is no passing so once he hit the front then he wasn’t expecting to be passed

Poole fans are a weird and strange collective that can’t debate a topic …. Always going on the defensive and unable to have a discussion Nobody is saying that you shouldn’t prepare the track for your own side And at the end of the day it is about winning but surely just one Poole fan could admit the truth which is ‘ I’m glad we won but the racing was awful’ …. Instead you get the morons like Shovlar telling us it was an exciting meeting… Nobody dislikes Poole for winning just the numpty supporters Oh and the final at Ipswich this year had controversy … Emil not starting … Brennan and Douglas … King and Masters … Doyle and Howarth … 9 passes in 15 races including an exceptional effort from Fricke in heat 13 I know us at Ipswich don’t have the best track but I’ve watched Poole 4 times this season and each time it’s abysmal Poole have signed a team of gaters with the exception of Thomsen so they will make the track slick and no chance of passing
