  1. All I’m saying about Kurtz is that British speedway is a fair way down his list of priorities and sometimes that clearly shows…. Whereas someone like Bewley or Doyle when he was here would give 110% everytime And yes I’m correct when I say Kurtz has to step up especially away while Bewley is out .. he can’t be getting 8 from 5 away from home If you look back on the GP threads i wanted Kurtz to be world champion so it’s not as some people think that I don’t like him ……. Just he can be flaky at times with his riding in the UK and not his fault but as a number one he needs 12 or 13 a meeting not 8
  2. Poole as I said in my post lol But Edinburgh know with two full 1-7 that Poole would be there for the taking at home Replace Harris score with what Dan T usually gets Replace Tate with the score Bowes usually gets Not hard to see why Edinburgh will be happy moving forward
  3. Bowes at Edinburgh scored 0 and 2 last season his replacement got 4 tonight … i don’t care who Bowes beat at Poole the other night it’s irrelevant based on his form at Edinburgh Dan T has scored 13 13 11 and 10 at home his replacement got 5 I’m sure you aren’t Diane Abbott and your maths is pretty good so if Bowes scored 1 tonight and Dan T 12 that’s a total of 13 which is a 10 point swing based on tonight’s scores… it’s all ifs and buts and maybes but clearly if both sides has their 1-7 Poole would possibly have had a heavier defeat
  4. How did a strengthened Poole side lose to Edinburgh…. Tate far better than Bowes would have been and Harris scoring less than half of what Thompson would have Might be a good result for Poole in this competition but even a 10 point score for Thompson would have been 51-39 …. Bowes never scores at Edinburgh… Edinburgh would be strong contenders to beat Poole over 2 legs of Thompson and Bowes both rode
  5. Spoke to Danny afterwards and he said he didn’t feel confident in the track and wasn’t making gates so they went with Lawson although Danny was asked first
  6. Clueless or trolling? Ipswich fans are not fickle we have had the biggest crowds even through the crap years and lower league …. One of if not the best supported clubs And although Brennan and Lidsey ride at one they aren’t exactly good enough to be number ones and Lidsey again doing his usual Foxhall performance.
  7. Are you happy with 8 from 6 rides from your number one and world number 2? You have lost Bewley which is huge. At home you can almost cover him with Lidsey and maybe Fricke guesting though they obviously can’t replace Dan If you aren’t winning big at home without Bewley then there is pressure to step up away from home …..especially from Kurtz he needs to go to the other tracks have 5 rides and get 12 or 13 If he can and Zach Cook and Tate keep performing the way are then you can get bonus points … which you didn’t get tonight because Sedgeman and Brady didn’t do there jobs … 1 point from Sedgeman and 4 from Brady when he run 3 last places would have seen you get the bonus point Of course without Dan it will always be tough so yes 8 from 6 from Brady is not good enough
  8. Comfortable for Sheffield with no Bewley Kurtz needs to step it up away from home or Belle Vue will again be losing many away matches
  9. Poole could easily get close to 60 in this one Harris last 3 meetings at Poole 16 rides and 6 wins and is out of form Howarth last 3 has had 14 rides and 1 win Flint 8 rides and 1 win Add in having Jack Smith and Luke Harrison and Glasgow are very weak Rushen and Cairns can easily hit double figures Any Poole fan expecting this to be close is deluded
  10. Got this spot on lol The 3 guests got 22 between them and only twice this season have the 3 they replaced got more at home Thomson matched Blodorn Sedgeman didn’t do much Lidsey and Cook both got double figures The Belle Vue reserves got more than Sheffield but only just Can’t see how anyone thought Sheffield were favourites Will be different tonight I would guess and Sheffield may get the bonus point
  11. Last time Blodorn Kildemand and Bewley got 19 between them … let’s see how the replacements do
  12. Belle Vue should still have enough to win this easily enough Thomsen will match Blodorn Sedgeman is a weak link but Lidsey will get double figures and possibly Cook as well Belle Vue reserves should outscore their opposite reserves
  13. Another big crash for Tai today with his bike catching fire apparently … 6 broken ribs … punctured lung and a smashed arm and bladder Time to call it a day this time
  14. Your knowledge of speedway gets worse every week Poole were hot favourites with Rushen and Bowes The loss of Bowes made you stronger The loss of Rushen made you back to where you was … hot favourites still You wasn’t weakened and you won as EVERYONE expected So so boring this defied the odds garbage
  15. I don’t live in Ipswich but I am on a group chat with our 8 friends and they live in Ipswich and all day today they have had rain showers and even hailstorms during the day … not all day but on and off including one around 6.45 Best not to say anything if you don’t know the answer
  16. Is sarcasm the lowest form of wit or is that the fool who responds Never mind I’m sure that one day Belle Vue may get close to the crowd levels at Ipswich You have the best track in the league and ours is arguably the worst yet you aren’t well supported…. Never mind
  17. It was the weather you plum!! I live over an hour away but friends who we meet up live in Ipswich and they didn’t bother going because they guessed this might happen When the weather is good and it’s on BSN Foxhall is always a big crowd still Not unusual for a Belle Vue fan to talk crap
  18. Meeting off so understandable why people didn’t travel
  19. The weather has been awful most of the day on and off and it’s a risk to go especially with kids …. Try using your brain before posting Belle Vue don’t want to race even Bewley not happy
  20. Good luck as the racing has been worse this season and the track looks worse Kurtz has gone well at Foxhall many times …. And sometimes doesn’t but don’t kid yourself into thinking his poor score in the play off wasn’t anything to do with the GP…
  21. Can’t see what in my post makes you think that He didn’t try at the end of the season … in mid season he reeled off 3 wins and I said that’s the Kurtz I expect to see Thursday But if you asked me to go I would rather have in my team to give 110% it’s Bewley over Kurtz everytime … Belle Vue are lucky to have both
  22. Belle Vue will never have a better chance to beat the witches since they did when we had no Doyle and Emil injured Last season in particular showed how bad riders like Blodorn and Zach Cook and Tate ride Foxhall though all 3 are in better form this season and Cairns yet to see the place Definitely much stronger with Kerr than Kildemand though The top 2 should score well particularly Kurtz as when he was bothered mid season reeled off 3 wins on the bounce …. I doubt we will see the Kurtz that could not be bothered and let his side down hugely in the play offs Bewley will be his usual 110% Think this will be close a lot depends on which Kurtz turns up and how well the lower end go especially Cairns 45-45 would not surprise me unless the lower end bring their usual Foxhall form
  23. Take your kings Lynn hat off mate I for one am not castigating Cooper … I believe he meant to go a bit left and when he did coupled with the looking behind him he went further over than he thought My youngest daughter now 17 did roller speed skating and was a multi british champion …. One of her very first outdoor races at the age of 6 she was coming down the final straight and looked behind to see her fast finishing rival … the looking made her veer to the left … her skill set at that stage meant she drifted …. She was pulled in front of the officials and given a warning and rightly so although her mum thought the officials harsh I believed they were correct … age is not a factor and should not be taken into account Cooper got this wrong and I don’t believe maliciously …. The fact he is the best youngster we have and is showing outstanding form doesn’t come into it … I’m sure those around him will have had a word and I expect cooper himself will see the reaction (some of which is way over the top) and learn from it Many many ex riders have all said Cooper was at fault ranging from Steachmann, Silver , Stonehewer .. down to the likes of James Brundle…… I’m inclined to go with ex riders opinion rather than a fan who can be biased to his or her club Cooper clearly at fault … not malicious or dirty and hopefully he has took it all on board
