  1. Yep I agree they are and they know how to win trophies But if Workington can beat you over two legs other sides will look at that and think they can to…… similar as I said to us at Ipswich being beaten fair and square by Lynn in the cup You didnt lose tonight but confidence is habit that’s nice to be into but a real pain when it goes … i would never have expected the 2 results against Workington and surely all Poole fans would have not seen it coming either
  2. I know the league isn’t won in July As an Ipswich fan we were touted as the best team in the top league but injuries and certain riders off form means we aren’t certain of winning anything as proven by Kings Lynn being the better side over 2 legs in the cup beating us fair and square Most , not all , Poole fans on here are awful losers …. Maybe these 2 matches have given them a reality check that the league isn’t a cakewalk The fact is they have been beaten over 2 legs by Workington … it doesn’t matter when in the season it is April or July they lost … Workington had their two top riders off form and their third heat leader missing Poole are the best side in the league but they can get complacent … no offence to Workington but if they can beat Poole over 2 legs then others certainly can
  3. But he is 100% spot on ….. over 2 legs against Workington Poole would have lost ..
  4. Come on this is Poole … their fans are a different breed of weird on this forum …..beaten over 2 legs by Workington who had their 1 and 5 hardly score and an influential reserve taken out of the meeting shows that Poole are beatable
  5. Poole top of the league …. Just done over by a patched up Workington over 2 legs … if this was a play off Poole would be out ….. so why if Workington make top 4 can’t they win it as they have clearly just been better than Poole over 2 legs????
  6. Of course Belle Vue is the best race track but you can have great races without passing When Belle Vue came to Ipswich recently …Zach Cook and Dan Thompson had a great race throwing the bikes at each other for 4 laps and to me that was just as entertaining as heat 15 when Danny King rode round Kurtz The point I’m making is the NSS van provide certain races that other tracks cant … the final of the British final for one But to just as guys fly round the outside to pass isn’t that interesting at times Nobody is disputing you have the best track and the best racing
  7. God don’t tell the Belle Vue fans that speedway isn’t all about passing lol
  8. I did laugh when 3 riders at the line and Tatum said ‘that’s 75% of the line up’ and Louis said ‘ i see your maths is getting better Kelv’ ….. an awkward silence followed not sure Tatum was that happy with that comment I did notice that Tatum never mentioned what Sheffield needed to get a draw or win when there was a few races left … maybe decided better of it lol
  9. Bad management from Stead …. Jack Holder for Kerr was the obvious choice or worse case Holder for Kerr and Sedgman for Flint
  10. Why would you put Pickering in as a tac sub when you have a GP rider in your team …. Jack Holder would have been favourite to win that …. Bad decision by Stead
  11. Nothing better than seeing a 5-1 over Jack Holder Max Fricke awesome
  12. Leicester riders don’t seem to know how to ride their own track … few times now they have made the gate and gone oh so wide on bend one and letting the Sheffield boys through
  13. Heat 13 is designed to have the best 2 riders in it … Doyle Emil Kurtz Bewley Holder Holder Fricke Masters Heat 15 is nominated hence the title …. I think if you are 20 points up going into heat 15 then why risk your best riders
  14. You aren’t understanding what I mean Nobody wants to see a rider injured of course not Personally if the points are safe I don’t care who rides heat 15 I don’t want anyone injured but if I had the choice of Emil missing for a month or Ellis or the rising star for example then you wouldn’t want your best rider out Ipswich earlier this season had Doyle and Thompson injured and struggled hugely I’m not in the camp that heat 15 has to be your 2 best riders on the night If Belle Vue had Kurtz injured in a heat 15 when the match was already secure then I’m sure Belle Vue fans will wish he hadn’t rode
  15. No if the meeting is won and bonus point is won them you don’t put your best riders in heat 15 The other week against Belle Vue we used Danny King and was so good seeing him beat Kurtz and Bewley Let’s hope you aren’t way ahead in a meeting and still use Lawson and then he gets injured in a race he doesn’t need to be in
  16. Another stupid comment why risk your best riders in a meaningless race?
  17. Doesn’t mean anything unless you win it …. But congrats on getting there and hope you do well
  18. I think you will find we are congratulating Lynn and at the same time not understanding the ref in heat 14… I prefer Lynn fans on here to Belle Vue ones lol
  19. Ah so you can comment on here but I can’t on the Poole thread … typical Poole fan
  20. Don’t worry it’s just people with a lack of knowledge who find it easy to stick the knife in Brennan and Dan T cost is tonight but are recently superb against Belle Vue …. It happens
  21. Ipswich fans were booing Kerr and the referee who walked through ….. Not one Ipswich rider got booed
  22. So the rule is you can dive bomb a rider take him right out to the fence and leave him no room….. but as long as there is no contact it’s fine Lynn deserved the win but that decision was wrong
  23. Did anyone say that lol Happy to take on Belle Vue over 2 legs all day long
