  1. at last you finally admit his Premier league average is neither here nor there concerning Poole so that rules out the 3.79 then! Kyle ride well in the play offs but he isn't improving. Good little rider but has stood still while others have moved ahead like Worrall and Garrity and others like Ellis and Starke have gone past him
  2. but your not a troll lol. Love the fact this post was liked by 2 people Starman and Gater. Kind of shows the mentality I guess. Personally I think they should look at all averages. If Kyle Newman is a 3.79 when he achieved 5.52 then I think it's only fair that should Tai wish to ride here again he should be about a 5.50 in second string role. After all of we can drop riders by 2 points like Newman then it has to filter through all the ridets surely
  3. Not the same as what Hancock did in my eyes And you were there were you in Poland?? If you did then you saw a different race or meeting then i did. Screen was much faster than Loram all night?? Well it was Screens 6th ride and Marks 3rd ride and Mark had won his last race so hard to tell who was fastest on the night. 5th ride? Where does that come from? It was the old system where first 2 go through and the last 2 go to an eliminator. Spent the 5th(?) ride 'waiving' Loram through?? Erm he moved over a bit on bends 3 and 4 of lap one and let Mark past. And then yes he made sure Hampel couldnt get close. So yes he helped Mark but not anywhere near the level Hancock did by making it as blatant as it could be by going wide and continually looking for Holder until the last bend. Have a little look back at the Screen/Loram race because you describe it somewhat different to anyone else. And how lovely to see old man Muddlo make a twit of himself again on social media he just cant help it............oh hang on Hancock and Holder..........Poole connection..........of course its what kids do these days...........its not table tennis
  4. 100% correct. left a hole the size of the channel tunnel for Holder to ride through and then (even with a failing machine) managed to find the drive to keep side by side with Holder all the way down the straight. Blatant as you like.
  5. Ah bless your little cotton socks. Talking of drivel your still in that cloud cuckoo land that keeps banging the 3.79 drum And as i said he should have a lower average if he rides in the main body then that benefits Poole??
  6. The Exeter riders in those days were awful hard and dangerous riders. Richard Green being one of the worst and rarely in control. I remember Ipswich going there and they fenced Dean Standing then fenced David Norris shocking riding. Always remember an interview with Jamie Habbin (remember him?) whose words were ' the track is dangerous , the riders are dangerous and if they ever decide to bulldoze the place then he would be at the front of the queue to drive the digger'
  7. Why is that losing the plot?? I would like to see averages that differ depending on team building. Newman, Steve Worrall, Josh Bates, Adam Ellis, Paul Starke for example. If they are included again as EDR's (which in my mind they shouldnt be) then their averages have to reflect their ability in that EDR position. Kyle Newman therefore be used either as an EDR as a 5 for example, but if he isnt on the EDR list then i think 5 is to high for him to ride in the main body so should be lower. Im actually stating something that would benefit Poole here!! Ok say they give Kyle an EDR spot and say he is a 5.0 average. If Poole then bring in 2 riders on lower averages Newman would be in the main body on a 5.0 average What im saying is that that is to high.
  8. 100% he should be in the team Dont know how it would work but if he was reserve he should be a 5.00 and if he is in the team proper then 4.0 - 4.5. The 'old' EDR riders should have weighted averages. Newman was in the reserve berth for nearly all matches so he should be a 5 if he continues there.
  9. Greg Hancock has become a disgrace. Firstly his attack on Pedersen Then pulling out of the World Team Cup And now blatantly cheating Middlo yet again proving he is a total prize plonker. The man shouldnt be allowed anywhere near social media
  10. totally right. The EDR and the averages are a massive part of team building so what ever thread in the elite league, on what ever team, there will be a discussion about the draft riders. And yes there is one person in particular who keeps going on and on about Newman being below 4 when the rest of the people on here know that wont be the case. If that person keeps saying that over and over and keeps putting teams on here with Newman below 4 then other people will come on here and tell him its wrong Its not EDR discussion its about Pooles 2017 team. Perhaps if you can tell Shovlar to stop quoting false averages in his teams he keeps putting on then i guess nobody will mention the EDR.
  11. was a good post until the last sentence They wont be converted direct from Premier league averages im still unsure why people still think this. Kyle Newman averages over 5.5 from 90% of his meetings from reserve. So you think he should be 2 points lower the following season.........nice logic
  12. Why? We talking about team building and which possible 7 riders Poole could have and the averages of the EDR's is a talking point is it not?
  13. Why? You have discussed team building of the Poole side and some (not all) are including riders on averages that wont apply, so the average of EDR riders is a huge part of team building Little bit precious to start another thread
  14. it had been documented that the premier league conversion will be scrapped. Poole fans and speedway fans understand this and yes you are quite right until the rules are announced nobody knows what conversion they will use. But as everyone has said Newman will not be 3.79 and I doubt Ellis will be a 4, but yet you still have Shovlar building teams with those averages. I don't understand how 1 person doesn't actually understand how it works?
  15. No not at all. Just giving an opinion. Tarred with the brush that its all anti Poole when i said Milik should have his old average and that Ellis could be an EDR - 2 things that quite clearly benefit Poole that im in agreement with.
  16. You said Gavan and co and referred to Milik. I never said Milik was a 7 so why you had to use my name is beyond me. And if you read my posts you will see that i feel if Newman was at reserve he need to be a 5 And if he was a second string he should be lower to reflect his scoring abilitys. Somewhere as you have highlighted around 4 -4.5 What is quite clear from your post is one thing: Kyle Newman finished on 5.52 You say in the main team he averaged 4.33 (at home) So his average from reserve must have been over 6.00 And yet some on here see no reason why he shouldnt be 3.79 in the reserve berth???
  17. as i said read my earlier posts Said Milik should be on his old average Said Ellis should be an EDR rider Though it is time for Newman to not be a reserve. Cant see how that is anti Poole in any way at all Read my post below ive quoted who we could have in the reserve berths and yes the likes of Worrall, Starke, Newman should be nowhere near the reserve berths i agree with you I wouldnt call any of the guys ive mentioned as wobblers and it is young Brits And as you can see ive included Ellis as an EDR so there is no Poole bias from me at all
  18. Hope you can read what i wrote Mr Gater??? Never have i said Milik should have an average over 7. I have said that (same as Tai) he had an average over here that can be used Again please tell me where i have said Ellis and Newman should have inflated averages please??? Milik i said should use his old average. A few posts back i said Ellis should be an EDR I also said Newman should have an average between 4.5 and 5. hardly over inflated Be nice if you read my posts rather than use me as an easy target Ok one last time buddy Please quote where i have said Milik should be a 7???? You cant! I said he has an average over here and that should be used And yes Tai came in on the right average as that was one he obtained 2 seasons ago. Tai's average was low because he was poor last time over here. If you think Tai was to low then you must also believe Milik is to low? The fact is BOTH Milik and Woffinden have correct averages end of story. Kyle Newman will not be 3.79
  19. This is a Poole 2017 thread People are discussing possible riders and Newman is one of those, so his average for next year is very important i would say And nobody is having a go at Newman just making sure he has a fair average Not sure why age comes into it to be honest , for me age is irrelevent. The time has come that the likes of Worrall , Newman, Auty, Starke and possibly Howarth need to make the move into being a second string. Those riders that were number 7's last year should now be the number 6's and then blood the next generation. I would like to see the following riders as the top level EDR riders (on the right averages!) Jacobs, Sarjeant, Simon Lambert, Branford, Ellis, Stefan Nielsen, Clegg , Ashley Morris (Ellis the highest average of those) Then we can look at the next youngsters as the number 7's the likes of Perry, Bewley, Hume, Perks, Dean-Wilson, Wajknecht for example.
  20. Correct how on earth can they all have the same average?? Clegg and Newman similar? Not in a million years. Clegg 3.5 and then Newman a 5.0.
  21. Kyles improvement has been marginal at best. When you look at Steve Worrall and Jason Garrity they have left Newman a fair way behind. And to be fair i think Ellis will as well Paul Starke has also improved and is as good if not better than Newman. I would rank Newman in the same bracket as Auty really as not really kicking on. You say he had injuries so that held him back a bit. Ok then thats fair enough but if we saw the real Newman in the play offs where he was sensational then you must see how any average below 4 would be farcical I like the way you say 3.79 is about right then say he spent basically the whole season at reserve??? Well he averaged 5.52 from that reserve position yet somehow you think he should have that reduced down??? You make no sense! Granted he spent a few meetings in the top 5 so use a calculation to bring it down to say 5. Would love to know how you get to the thought that a rider averages 5.52 , is improving (so you say) yet should have his average reduced by over 1.5 points to race against the riders he beat last season! How on earth does that make any sense
  22. im not the one saying Kyle Newman should be on a 3.79 average! It's mainly 1 Poole fan and I'm saying he should be about 5. I highlighted other riders with premier conversions and Joe Jacobs on 3.02 is a steal for sure. Kyle Newman can not ride elite league on a 3.79 average
  23. Out of this seasons team we have 3 riders who HAVE to be back King, Covatti and Hume I would keep 1 of Risager or Sarjeant. That leaves 3 spaces. Personally i love to watch Ben but he is off to pastures new apparantly Where do we get those others from? Dont want to go back down the Heeps route personally. What would Gino come back on? Need to find that big scoring third heat leader from somewhere!! King Covatti Kennett Sarj ? ? Hume
  24. Kyle Newman finished on 5.52 Apart from what 6 meetings? (a guess) he got that average from the reserve berth If it was solely gained form the reserve berth then it shouldnt change and thankfully the powers that be have said as much Still some harp on about premier league conversion...............it isnt going to happen!! Deduct Kyles average form the top 5 and if Poole want him as a reserve his average should be no less than 5. If Poole want him as a second string then yes do some sort of conversion and he should be about 4-4.5 Please can the same people stop going on and on about him being 3.79 in the reserve berth next season as it simply isnt going to happen
  25. Shovlar yet again showing his lack of knowledge. Newman achieved his average from RESERVE!!! barring about 5 meetings. So he averaged 5.6 less his time in the main team makes him about a 5. To be fair it is only 1 Poole fan that still thinks the premier league conversion is in place for next season lol
