100% spot on It was only a few elite league snobs who thought they would attack the premier league meetings last week. 3 meetings on sky in a week and the premier league one was the best followed by 2 snooze fests at Berwick and Swindon You get good and bad in both leagues its just a few who think the elite league is the only league Dont know what premier league meetings you go to then? My club Ipswich dont get good crowds bu then we got worse crowds in the elite league. The Elite league crowds are just as low. Lakeside get poor crowds and last nights was awful Glasgow, Somerset, Workington all get crowds better than most elite league clubs. You get good and bad racing , good and bad crowds in both leagues. To say different shows that you are fully in favour of one league more than the other

Speedway is exactly like football in the sense that players will go and play/ride for whoever is offering them the best money and chance to win something. Do you think Gareth Bale would have played for Real Sociedad or Villareal? He went there to further his career and potentailly win major trophies. Tai rides in Poland and Sweden as those are the leagues that firstly pay the most, have the better riders in them so he can test himself against the best on a regular basis and have a proper structure to them. If Elite league paid the best and was better structured all the top boys would ride here. Where are the top Poles?? Janowski, Dudek, Zmarzlik??? Blame the Elite league for the way its run but to say Tai should ride here because he is British is just ludicrous

You couldnt have read the thread properly then as not one person has said Poole were strengthened. People have said the riders that came in could possibly have done a better job than those that were supposed to have rode. Starke scored more than Newman would have done. R/R scored a maximum 9/9 before the fourth race. And Wells would have covered Kurtz. Poole won because they wanted it more and mainly because of the scoring of their own 2 riders Holder and Ellis oh just quickly before i go back to another thread on this open forum just a quick couple of facts. On this thread my posts were liked by Mdmc82 x2 , Scott1412, Bryn, Vincent Vega, Shads, Tigerite, Chris4gillian. Now thats quite a make up of fans from different clubs and fans with a far more superior knowledge of the sport than yourself. Oh and Shovlars likes are from Skidder x5, Sharpenrake, Chris4gillian, Piratespiratespirates x3 (strange individual who likes his own posts as well), Starman x3 and Poole Quay x3 So as you can see i get likes from a broad spectrum of fans , those who understand the sport, and Shovlar gets likes from only Poole fans, his little clique of bosom buddies who all like each others posts. (chris4gillian i do not include you in this) its all a bit sad that you only enjoy each others posts. Maybe one day someone from another club might actually like one of the posts but i doubt it as we are all anti Poole....................or are we all anti idiots
