Why are people arguing about putting the youngsters in it makes no sense! If people wanted to watch the likes of Kerr and Garrity get beat race after race then go ahead. Surely the aim this year was to make the final at best so put out yout best 4 riders. By all means have them in the pits around the atmosphere but in the 4? NO Speedway is in dire straights in this country lifte only by a British World Champion. Saturday night gave you a buzz back for the sport and if we are in with a squeak of a medal than again it will bring a buzz back which we need over here. wrong! the riders of the future if at Lynn in the pits will have learnt an awful lot from being around the teams even just watching guys like Tai Hancock and Ward how they go about big meetings. By getting to the final we have possibly even over achieved so yes we have gained something and the youngsters will be a part of the feel good factor around at the moment.

spot on. people need to realise that the rider behind can be at fault as well. Look at Darcy and Greg in heat 20. If Dacry had of tried what the czech lad did he would have been in the fence. The difference is Darcy was controlling the throttle a lot better different scenarios there and you know it. Look at Pedersen on Zagar in the gp just wiped him out and of course rightly excluded. What about a track, bit like last night , where the racing line is a foot from the fence? You saying a rider shouldnt ride close to the fence in case the rider behind wants to come round him? No he blocks him. Nilsson moved wide there was contact obviously but the lad behind should have seen him coming and either shut off or changed line. The person in front is allowed to ride where they want. Listen to riders when they moan at the ref sometimes they use it all the time. You can perform a move with contact as well. jeez ive been watching the sport for 30 years and now you dont want contact lol

I really cant see where people are coming from who believe excluding Nilsson was right! When you are in front you can ride your line and Nilsson did exactly that. If you watch he was almost fenced himself but had the foresight to shut it off which is exactly what the young czech lad should have done. It wasnt dirty just hard riding. Please dont liken it to Nicki who waits till riders are alongside before fencing them or simply rides through them What Nilsson did was hard riding, Pedersen is dirty, just ask his pit lane colleagues!

think that is a bit over critical of Darcy. Perhaps he needs to have a chat with Mark Loram on how to pass cleanly and safely with throttle control. No we dont think Darcy should win every race he rides in. Fact is he makes as many semis as Tai does yet doesnt often get further. Has to be a slight issue temprement wise

Wow strange choices from the Danes! Pedersen Iversen Bjerre and MJJ are the best 4 with Kildemand or Hans as reserve. As much as I like Mads he isn't in the class or experience of the other boys. Time to lump on the poles and wouldn't surprise me if the swedes or Aussies grab 2nd.

Your statement is spot on. Though a certain person thinks silver is what we should get and then only then has Rosco done well!! Laughable. Team GB have over achieved no 2 ways about it And for those people saying ' we should expect to be in the final' no we shouldnt not with the pool of riders we have and that is down to the people who run the sport at grass roots. Do the Americans ' expect' to be in the final? No they dont. Quite right like us they used to be a force with Hancock, Hamill, Ermolenko, Correy but they dont ahve that pool of riders and neither do we. We have done well to make the final so stop bleating and enjoy it. I personally think we will be 4th but if we are in for a scrap for bronze i would take that

Mate you are talking absolute rubbish!! Last year in the race off Australia had THE SAME 4 RIDERS!!! They scored 36 points against us scoring 28 Event 1 this year with THE SAME 4 RIDERS Australia scored, wait for it...........36 points. They were no different to the same Australia as last year so they werent under par they were the same. True weakened without Holder......same as last year!!!! You have no argument so stop making yourself look silly. Ward was below par but Doyle and Batchelor scored more. Oh and in case you were wondering as well at Lynn last year good old Middlos choices got 5 between them. This year Rosco's choices got 21!!!!! Its not rocket science to say we are better than last yera with a better manager. One last thing, if you knew anything about speedway just getting to the final with the pool of riders we have is an achievement, anything else is a bonus, so please stop spouting the 'if we come 2nd' crap because if you knew anything you know we have no hope of beating a full strength Polish and Danish side. absolutly spot on though there are still people who think that the track was awful. as i say put 4 riders of equal ability and you would have good racing at Lynn

The fact is GB didnt get lucky we beat 2 of the teams that beat us last year. Except this year we had a manager who could actually pick the right riders and motivate them. Im still confused over some fans reaction to the track. In most races there were only really 2 riders that could win it unless Greg was racing . Gino mixed it a bit as well as Covatti. So when you have only 2 riders what are people expecting them to do pass and repass?? Did nobody see Harris come from last to first and Covatti pass in his last ride.? As i said get 4 evenly balanced teams on the track and have a race of Tai, Holder, Pedersen and Kasprzak then moan about the track. A race of Tai, Woodward, Ruml and Castagna is hardly going to set the world alight!! Those people moaning we were lucky get a grip!! The Aussies missed Holder granted but everything else can happen in speedway! Ward had a poor night that happens its not lucky! The second best rider team gb has in Nicholls isnt even racing so it evens up and we were DESERVED winners not lucky hahahahahahhaahhahahah prize twit shows his face again. You won't hear anything from Starmsn and the cronies who claimed nobody could do better than Middlo. As we all said its not just the pool of riders it's how you get the best out if them. Last year we at Lynn we had Cook and Kennett who don't go well there. This year a proper manager picks the correct riders and knows how to get the best out of them. Nobody can tell me Stead and King have improved in the last 12 months just we now have a boss who knows what he is doing, lets be honest Starman isn't a true gb fan as hasn't commented on any thread

Well what a cracking result for the boys! Special praise must go to Rosco. Knew how to pick a decent side i.e the best 4 available and more importantly knew how to motivate them and get them up for it. What a difference 12 months makes from having Old mother hen Muddlo picking poor riders and a complete lack of motivation. Can't see Starman and the other Poole fans on here who said NOBODY could do any better with the pool of riders we have! Erm wrong! We are on the final and with Middlo we couldn't beat the yanks or Latvia! People moaning bout the track need to understand in a lot of races there was only 2 riders who could win it therefore you weren't going to get class racing.
