  1. Darcy Ward scored the most points Zengota obtained the better average its not that hard to understand.
  2. Poole are certainly rhe best team of the last 10 years but thats all really. Not exactly a club like Swindon Coventry Belle Vue, clubs with history and tradition. I feel so sorry for you Swindon fans, even making a great signing like Ward has its drawbacks because now Starman will be on your threads lol
  3. I agree totally with what you said. But still there are those so blinkered they see his off track antics as ' mistakes' Darcy rode well on his first match back but didnt actually ride to his average and turning a potential match winning 5-1 into a 0-5 cost the Robins dear. He does at times have issues staying on the bike. As i said its a good signing for Swindon but i doubt it will make them play off contenders
  4. As stated before Swindon had to do something as they were going to run with a 6 pointer and bringing Darcy in was the right move However the scores of Ward and Krcmar were similar to guest and Howarth had been getting. Swindons side is no better for the change, the results wont differ and they will end up 5th
  5. you are a bit of a sad man really supported Swindon last year now Poole and you even liked your own post!
  6. no he wasn't drunk just over the limit to ride a speedway bike so that's ok. sorry office I was only slightly over the limit when I killed a person driving my car so im sure you can accept its ok as I wasn't drunk Have to say I have never done drugs. the odd spliff I guess is ok here and there but to be out of it on drugs on a motorcycle fleeing from cops is a bit different I have to feel sorry for the people you hang around with if they have done worse than Ward. I also must of led a sheltered life because I haven't yet been accused of sexual assault. Your friends who have done worse than Ward I assume means they are in jail right now. Your one of these people who gloss over his errors like he has just made a few little mistakes. I do agree with your last sentence that its good to see Darcy riding a bike in uk speedway
  7. thats quite correct you dress it up how you want. was he drunk ? yes has he done drugs? yes is he a sex pest? no smoke without fire. such a talent on a motorcycle but as a human being he isn't exactly great is he you better be careful mr rising the resident fool liked your post. the man who calls me a clown and an idiot in every post yet I tell him to piss off and he runs to the mods asking for a permanent ban! so not only is he thick he is a spineless coward as well! seems to have shut up now Darcy has dropped points. I apologise to the Swindon fans for getting annoyed but you now have the wally on your threads from now on!
  8. Well done boys nice to see Rohan back among the points just need Cam to get going. Morris been a great signing
  9. your quite simply a trolling pathetic little man. Everybody on here has said they want to see Darcy back and stay out of trouble it doesn't change the character of the man does it! Do yourself a favour and let the grown ups debate please. As said Ward was going to score points but Krcmar is the issue. No good Ward getting 14 and Krcmar 0 spot on so will someone please tell the pillock from Poole to piss off
  10. Lets look at the top premier league riders today and the top national league boys in the late 80;s early 90's then shall we. Cook, Stead, King, Kennett, Masters are probably the best riders in the league. Back in the late 80's riders of their calibre would have struggled to make the British Final. You had Galvin, Loram , Louis, Schofield, Boyce, Adams, Wiltshire, Crump, Butler, Thorp. All these riders bar Galvin and Schoey made the World Final. Im puzzled how anyone in their right mind thinks the premier league is stronger now. my team are in it and yes the racing is good but its not a great standard. Take the league from 1981 and its stronger than now. Take the league from 1989 its still stronger.
  11. I started watching National league in the 1980's at Rye House and the national league back in the 80's through to the 90' was far far tougher than the premier league now. Garrard, Cox, Silver, Woods, Kennett, Dugard, Hunter, J Owen, T Owen, L.Collins, Wyer, Crabtree, Monaghan, Jackson, Finch, Lawson, Mckinna, Yeates, Wigg, Butler, Thorp, Galvin, Loram, Schofield, Wiltshire, Ferriera, Luckhurst, R Morton I could list loads of riders in that 10 year period who would quite simply top the premier league averages today but yet would struggle in the British League if you think the premier now is stronger than the old national league then you are in cloud cuckoo land
  12. you cant say that mate, there are some very precious Darcy fans on here who believe he is the greatest rider around. Darcy Ward is a sublime talent but at the moment he is not in Emils league
  13. have seen him live but whats the difference between being at the track or on the tv? Ward is sublime talent but I would place Mark above him for now. its called an opinion and im discussing it with sommelier who is an adult and can debate instead of you trolling. now go to bed dear oh dear go away
  14. live as in at the track about 4. on tv probably about another 40 plus times. im slightly biased my family used to sponser a young Mark from the age of 14 so travelled all over the place watching him. Used to overtake for fun at all levels and only once did I see him get it wrong when he knocked Rickardsson off in a gp once. For sheer talent I would have Mark above Darcy but I would possibly have Lee above them both. just did so keep quiet im talking to adults
  15. we all know Emil is better than Ward. Shame the 2 of them aren't in the gp's one for political reasons and one because he isn't a professional
  16. im deluded lol. You don't think Mark was the best at overtaking riders then? Nobody better at making long straights and getting wheels in line. Darcy is talented and natural but he isn't yet as good as Mark as coming from the back.
  17. really? Go buy the DVDs mate Loramski was the most natural there has ever been nobody could overtake as often and cleanly as he could.
  18. why do you continually start threads and comment on threads slagging off antyhing British, first Tai now Rosco. Do yourself a favour and stop trolling
  19. spot on. wish people would stop banging on about his form. A few years back he won in Cardiif and i believe was world number 6. That was his pinnicle. He is now no better than say 14th in the gp but is ahead of riders he shouldnt be
  20. Think the main issue is that Rosco has moaned before about British riders being dropped so it does smack of hypocrisy. However Rosco is Swindon manager so he has a duty to do the best thing for Swindon speedway, irrelevent of the nationality of the rider replaced.
  21. i havent said its a problam but why do you think or expect him to do any better?
  22. Because that is his level! He isnt likely to make many top 8's he isnt good enough. He should get 6 or 7 most gp's. He may get 9 in one of them and 4 in another. Why is there no thread saying how poor was Kasprzak, Janowski , Jonsson and Batchelor at Cardiff? They are all (in my opinion) better riders at Harris yet they scored less than he did!! Why is there always a thread were people end up having a dig at Harris, and no im not a Coventry fan either
  23. Why do people continually feel the need to have a pop at Chris Harris? The guy is a 100% trier but because he isnt as good as Tai people lay into him. He has deserved his place in the gp he is nevr going to be top 6, unlikely to be top 8 but thats the level he is now. He is 6 points off the top 8. He is just behind the new golden boy Janowski He is ahead of the current world number 2 He is ahead of Batchelor who scored double what Harris did last year. He is at his level and that is in the worlds top 15 or so Gods sake give the guy a break!
