  1. So the Monarchs fans want Garrity to get a ban for his actions, but its ok for Sneddon to swing a punch and draw blood? Ban them both
  2. sorry but you must have been watching a totally different race to everybody else. Pedersen dive bombed him plain and simple. Other riders tried it throughout the night but realised when to shut off. Nicki just ploughed into him. Your defence is laughable. Pedersen had no regard for the rider he knocked off and as everyone is saying is just a coward. If Nicki wasnt guilty then why did he eventually apologise? Quite correct in saying Zagar shouldnt have reacted but he hardly swung a punch. Were you happy when Boycey decked Gollob? Most fans were. You have no arguement edersen was blatantly at fault.....move on
  3. OK MESSAGE FOR TNT AND EVERYONE IN THIS COMPETITION. I WAS BANNED FROM THIS FORUM FOR 14 DAYS UNTIL 15/6/14 I HAVE POSTED EVERY ROUND OF THIS COMPETITION THIS YEAR AND LAST BUT BECAUSE OF MY BAN I COULDNT POST. I WROTE MY SELECTIONS DOWN WHICH WAS AS FOLLOWS. WARD HANCOCK HAMPEL LINDGREN THE AUSSIES TO SCORE MOST POINTS. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THE POINTS FROM THESE COULD BE INCLUDED EVEN THOUGH I WAS BANNED. I WILL LEAVE IT TO PEOPLES VOTE. IF NOT I UNDERSTAND (THOUGH I DONT THINK I DONE TO WELL LOL) AND WILL HAPPILY POST FOR THE NEXT ROUND. THANKS
  4. apart from the semi final when 2 riders went past Darcy he definatly lacks concentration dont think its bottle. He literally was asleep when Nicki went passed him. for once he gated well and if he continues like that he will be there or thereabouts. Just needs to learn from Tai on how to close out meetings and make finals not just semis
  5. Congrats Tai that was a world champions performance. Darcy yet again throws it away in the semi. Lost count now how many semis he goes out in. Needs to look at Tai and carry it through
  6. Rye House not really a happy hunting ground for us. To many home riders are dialled in there makes them hard to beat. Garrity at reserve makes them stronger just hope he doesnt pole axe any of our boys as he cant seem to stay on the bike or is very wild
  7. did you hear the whole interview? said he made mistakes and if he had rode properly like he did in lap 4 he would have won. he is big headed ebd of discussion. oh he read out a 60th birthday dedication what that has to do with being a sore loser is beyond me.
  8. Cant say i know the bloke so cant comment. All i can say is what i saw last night he has a very bad attitude, to bigheaded. That said i would like his scoring power in the Premier
  9. Bit of a daft statement. Cook is the best rider in the league and wins probably 90% of his races. Needs to learn how to be a good loser. We wouldnt be having this discussion if it was say Max Fricke as he doesnt win almost every race.
  10. Ok lets look at the things you have wrote. Firstly Sedgeman dive bombed Gino and knocked him off. not a hard decision and no arguments from anyone in th Monarchs side of the pits. Sedgeman went over to Gino when he came back to the pits to make sure he was ok. Then im really bemused how you see the Masters incident. Tungate went under him and took him wide. That is called speedway racing though quite clearly in your world you musnt ride riders out wide and actually cleanly pass a Monarchs rider. Masters ended up in the loose stuff about 4 feet from the fence and slid off. If you think Tungate should be excluded for passin a rider making sure the rider goes wide without touching him then you clearly have no idea abou the sport. What you should be moaning about is Masters not getting up when Cook was leading which then turned a 3-3 onto a 1-5. Cook rolled in an earlier heat and then blatantly was moving in heat 13 so deserved his warning. Hawkins also deserved a warning. Ellis isnt making starts like he used to and on a tricky track last night you couldnt really pass easily. We should have lost but the Monarchs threw away points so am more than happy to get a draw And the funniest thing you wrote: The Sedgeman/Gino incident was the same as the Masters/Tungate one!!!!! lol Sedgeman whacks Gino who goes down. Tungate leaves about 3 feet between him and Masters!! How in your world are they the same!
  11. get a grip people! Cook is the best rider in the league but his attitude last night was one of a big head to good for this league and didnt like it when he was beaten. Im not saying you should enjoy losing just show a bit of sportsmanship to the guy who beat you. As for people that werent there you dont even have an argument to discuss on here. In heat on Richie was tailed off with what i found out later was carb problems. Cook was half way down the back straight on his slow down lap when Worrall went over the line. Was Richie supposed to roar round and catch him up! After heat 13 Cook crossed the line a fag paper behind the 2 Ipswich boys. He slowed up took off his goggle and turned round rode back to the pits and got the jeers from the home fans in the main stand. Worrall and Tungate congratulated each other then turned round to see no Cook. I was then by the pits when Cook went back in and his team mates went up to him and he didnt acknowledge them. Then get stroppy when asked to get on the truck for the parade. As he went to the showers you ahve to walk past people by the pits area. I saw 2 people with children ask him for an autograph he declined. Im sorry he is a great rider but as a person he need to grow up a little bit.
  12. he is the best rider in the league no question. Thing is its ok being annoyed when you get beat and then there is bad sportsmanship. To stop between bends 1 and 2 after a race and not acknowledge the other riders is petulant. If he can't take losing at this level then don't ride premier anymore. Maybe he just couldn't take being outrode by his Belle Vue team mate lol
  13. Not a bad meeting considering the conditions. Spoke with Richie afterwards who said he had the set up completely wrong in the first 2. Gino is just a star this season along with Morten. Cam really struggled tonight didn't seem to know what lines to ride. Rohan got better and almost snatched the win in the last. The reserves were poor tonight beating out of the gate far to easily. Final thing tonight was the first time I've seen Cook ride and I've never witnessed such a miserable arrogant rider. In heat 13 Tungate and Worrall rode brilliantly to keep him behind. As the race finishes he gets to the first bend turns round and rides back no shake of the hands. In heat 15 Worrall leads him tapes to flag again no handshake or acknowledgement. I go to the pits he comes in after the race his team mates pay him on the back he ignores them and starts taking off his kevlars. As it was a draw both teams go on the truck. He moaned like a petulant child before getting on the truck and sitting there sulking not talking to anyone, comes back gets off the truck and goes to showers. The guy is the best rider in the premier but his attitude stinks. If you think you shouldn't be beat in the premier Craig then go and just ride elite league. After all that well done monarchs solid side and good to see Steve Worrall riding so well again
  14. Just got to stadium still raining very overcast . Can't see it making 15 heats
  15. i remember when we went with Mark Loram to Bradford in 1994 and back then you were only allowed to ride lay downs in F.I.M meetings. Mark said he had never ridden anything like it round Odsal
  16. The 1989 World final was very low on quality in my opinion. The 1992 wasnt much better.
  17. Well done boys great away performance with everyone chipping in. If anything our 2 star riders this season (Gino and Morten) struggled but the others came good. Nice to see both Rohan and Cam doing what they are capable of.
  18. Have to agree with you looks a fascinating series. In my eyes Holder and Hampel look like they are lacking something this year. Ward will consistently score around 10 but will that be good enough? His inability to gate will stop him from being world champion in my view. Think he will struggle like crazy at Prague and Cardiff. Nicki will be inconsistent i feel. I can see the champ being KK or Tai. With Greg there or thereabouts. KK as misssed a gp and still leads. He is bound to go well at Prague and has a great record at Cardiff. Tai as well has tracks coming up to suit him and he did look the fastest rider on Saturday.
  19. Poor poor meeting only helped by my £5 ew on Zagar and £5 ew on Lindgren. Darcy summed himself up.....you need to gate! cant win world titles Darcy by being third or last every time you get to the first corner on whatever track
  20. well the expected result in the end but disappointing after the promise early on. Richie and Gino did there jobs and more. Cam is now starting to get his act together and confidence back which is a good thing. Risager continues to be inconsistent away from home home. The reserves were woeful really and needed to chip in with a lot more points. The main issue with us is Rohan. Just isnt producing the goods at the moment. Looked immense in Risagers testimonial and you thought he would be in for a good season. Then again last year he dominated the star of anglia so maybe its the individuals that get him going. He isnt doing great at home and is worse away. Would Rosen be a better bet?
