  1. No problem and not obsessed. However year after year Edinburgh are up the top of the league and Cook is in the top 3 riders in the league , so as my club is a rival to yours i think i have every right to go on your thread and comment as i see fit. Do you not like discussing your club? You should be flattered people want to talk about Edinburgh. All people are commenting on is the lack of grace from a number of your fans who cannot accept a defeat but yet crow from the rooftops when they win
  2. Thats where your wrong. At my club Ipswich we have match reports and yes it does focus on our riders but it also manages to congratulate the other side and also see the shortcomings of our own side. Right now Hawkins is under fire in the match reports even allowing for his injury. A more balanced article would be to say how Cook and Masters couldnt really dominate and Cook was on the wrong end of 5-1's so well done to Workington. While a club and SOME of its fans revel in winning then appear sore losers then you will keep getting stick Sorry i forgot this was an open forum. Must remember just to post on my own team. And if you care to have a look ive posted recntly on Swindon, Kings Lynn, Coventry, Poole, Rye House, Somerset and Sheffield but you just stick to your agenda. so you say im on the Edinburgh thread then you comment its a forum! nice contradiction
  3. Totally agree. Real fans are the ones that come on and take a defeat as it shoud be taken. Those who only gloat when they win but cant accept defeat are quite sad really
  4. I've just read that report. Such a bit bunch of bad losers never congratulate the other team. Loads of excuses when they get beat yet the other team is never allowed any! Still at least Cook flew round his old track.......oh wait a sec.
  5. this was against a side whose number one could my score, there riders at 2 and 4 were poor and had a reserve who scored zero! To only win by 8 is pretty poor and if Sargeant was riding Glasgow would possibly have won
  6. You will not get a proper answer. We know he is as thick as .... He will come back with something like ' if you dont know yourself dont ask' or something about me He makes a pri.k of himself everytime he is on here but he is good for comedy purposes and right on cue comes the idiot with the usual response lol
  7. black and white as in the riders got it abandoned when it basically should of continued Because Poole had enough points by then to win the league. stop going over old ground
  8. Seriously people this is so black and white im confused by the comments. 1. The start tapes failed. This meant the riders had to use the green light. Not ideal in any meeting let alone a grand prix. However what this meant was that in actual fact the starts seemed fairer, which some riders did not agree with. 2. Temporary tracks in the main have never been much good , they generally tend to rut up. The fact is that the track wasnt dangerous at all, just a couple of issues caused by the track nothing major. 3.The riders 'walked out' of the meeting. Nobody called a halt this was rider power. Forget the crap and garbage of all the people towing the party line, the meeting should of continued. If we see a track later in the series where riders are hitting ruts all the time and the meeting continues then there needs to be repurcussions for all the riders. The track was difficult but the main issue seemed to be the start gate not the track ignore the troll mate.
  9. Is that the one where it was atrociuosly wet conditions bordering on waterlogged, and if you went off the line you slid off? Or was it the one where a couple of riders hit ruts and the one guy who was struggling to stay on had a bad wrist anyway You cant compere the 2 meetings at all for track conditions. That British Final was far more dangerous than the gp in Warsaw i have no idea what the conditions were in this meeting. wet or rutty?
  10. Cant believe this thread is still running? Its obvious as to why the meeting was stopped yet some still cant or refuse to see it. The riders are simply a disgrace to the sport for getting it stopped I truly believe if we had no isue with the starting gate the meeting would have carried on. Look at the reports form Lynn where quite clearly riders were lifting after hitting a rut and losing positions. This is sppedway not riding round on a billiard table. Cant see anybody saying that Lynn should have been called off. As i say i await to see what happens at Cardiff as that notoriously cuts up pretty badly. I can name plenty of incidents at Cardiff where the track has caused problems. Anyone remember Crump collecting 2 ruts on the last corner AND straight and he bounced off the fence almost collecting Nicholls? This is a hard and dangerous sport and we are grateful thes boys put on a show for us, but do we all want to see follow my leader on nice smooth slick tracks? Im sure the riders of yester year, Collins , Morton even more recently Loram, are finding the whole thing quite pathetic
  11. Anyone seen the article by Kasprzak? Right decision to call the meeting off because off the green light!! Never mentions the track. Please people stop banging on about a poor track because quite clearly it wasnt one million percent correct!
  12. dear oh dear oh dear what an incredibly stupid response. Let's get one thing clear. Starman is a clown and not very bright his opinions mean nothing. You Sidney do have some knowledge and I expect better of you. The track was fine. Read the whole thread and you will find most agree with that. Let's see what the riders do at Cardiff if it gets bumpy!
  13. no yours is the stupid comment. They ride to get paid you idiot not to entertain us. Jeez your comments are strange
  14. stop showing yourself up to be a prat! What has the fact that my family know the Lorams got to do with this?? I know one thing...... Mark wouldnt have moaned and just gone out there and rode his bike and used his brain and throttle control
  15. yeah ive read it so whats your point fool? A rider clearly injured with a bad wrist cant turn the bike properly on a track that isnt totally smooth, bails out twice and runs into another!! Yes his opinion counts for sod all about the track, bit like most of yours mate.
  16. Why? Point One was the track was ok...........it was Point two i disagree Olsen should be exonerated he is a huge part of the problem
  17. try reading my post properly not just choose things and twist things. the track (as said by many on here) was NOT a disgrace which was my point the evening descended into a disgrace due to the riders not wanting to race. Yes the starting tapes went wrong but i think the green light worked well made it a level playing field. Feel free to comment on my posts but dont mix what im saying Its not an opinion its fact
  18. Talking out of your backside. Track wasnt a disgrace. Diificult but not a disgrace. Riders were passing each other the racing wasnt that bad. Did you see Harris. Ive seen far far worse tracks at Cardiff. If the tapes were not broken im in no doubt the meeting would have carried on. If you thought the racing was garbage i think you must have watched a different meeting to everyone else. If you was a first time watcher you would think the start gate was farcical and then wonder why the hell the riders didnt want to ride.
  19. I have seen worse ruts, more riders lifting, and more crashes in the Cardiff gp's. Yes im sitting in my armchair but that track did not look anymore dangerous than Cardiff usually gets. This was backed up by 2 fallers due to the track, an unfit Batchelor and a tentative Holder. I await to see how Cardiff cuts up this year!
  20. Really how bad a bunch of losers are the Edinburgh fans such sore losers. 4 man team pathetic excuse. How many Glasgow riders hit double figures? All well and good having a classy number 1 like Masters but you need the rest to step up. Maybe they were under pressure and couldn't handle it. As for that Blobby fellow saying Sargeant rolls worse than Cook is laughable. Who got excluded in heat 1 for trying to cheat again? Can't wait till you come to Foxhall and watch our number one King and your number one Masters having some great races
  21. Oh and I know he got a Max away from home but as I say against the top teams he isn't doing it. Can't wait for Danny to show him the quickest way around Foxhall so it was poor from Edinburgh not good from Glasgow? There number 1 didn't exactly score well either and a 5-1 in the last flattered the scoreline for you. I'm sure in the league you will get beat by more as Lawson won't be as poor. Shame that you still can't say well done
  22. im as quick to criticise as you are to be smug. Cook isn't the same rider at the moment and a max against an average Berwick side who hate your track hardly papers over the cracks. So far in the harder tests he is found wanting. Have you congratulated Glasgow yet?
  23. i have no idea what you are wittering on about you fool. I've said the track was not to dangerous that the meeting had to be abandoned which is a view held by many on here. You really are a prat
  24. Get in there Glasgow nothing better than seeing the smugs get beat fair and square by the better team. Where have they gone can't read their comments! And they aren't worried bout Cook's form? The lad has gone as far in the sport as he can and Masters is the better rider this season. Well done Glasgow. As for the Monarchs the rest of the premier league are loving it!
  25. Sorry but the track was raceable and rideable, did you not watch it properly and see Harris? The only riders who fell was an unfit Batchelor and a struggling Holder. The track was difficult but not unsafe. Seem to remember a track at Belle Vue not so long ago that was waterlogged yet the meeting continued when it was far far more dangerous than last night. Poole werent worried about that track i seem to recall. The riders (not all of them) bottled it. The starting gate looked farcical. The track wasnt great. But the biggest farce was the huge delay while the riders had a meeting and got the meeting called off didnt see any riders congratulating each other they were hugging and congratulating Gollob. so unlike you get something wrong I dont think a Poole fan can give any credibility on track safety as they need to get their own house in order first. Quite happy to race in a monsoon at Belle Vue where riders couldnt see, yet think last night was dangerous!
