yeah it was the injury that stopped Darcy winnin! Jeez man get a grip! Injury didn't stop him at all he was beaten fair and square by a better rider on the night. I still think Ward can be top 3 this season as long as he rides sensibly. A few times last night he looked close to coming off. Why the dig at Tai? He has got fight! Rember his injuries last year yet still won the title? The whole speedway community knows something is wrong yet you can't help yourself having a dig. Hampel is a great rider he can mix it but yes does most of his winning from the gate just like Hancock yet Greg still completely out rode Darcy to re overtake him.

totally agree 100% trouble is he is SO good at coming from the back he lacks a bit of tactical nous to stay there but as you say he can only learn

what a brilliant meeting to watch and the best rider on the night wins which is always good to see. what is it with Ward. rides out of his boots to hit the front in 2 races then seems to not know how to defend it. let Hancock go round him then KK get back to him in the final. Guess he will learn with experiance

We quite clearly have 2 under performing riders in Heeps and Tungate. Risager has been hit and miss but the other 4 have done well. I'm sure plenty of peaks and troughs don't get to down hearted yet its a marathon not a sprint. Cam will soon be at reserve and may need that confidence booster

Darcy Ward failing to be on the pace. People moan about the likes Lindgren Bjerre and Jonsson being there as they will never be world champion which is a crap argument. Before the start the majority of people would say that the World Champion will come from Tai, NKI, Hampel Holder and Ward so you will always get riders making up the numbers. This Gp has proved our sport is still as great and unpredictable as ever

Well thats a turn up. Woffy clearly far from fit. Holder battling Nicki P again showing his class Darcy looked slow - will have better gp's but still struggles when the pressure is applied so doubt he would have got anywhere. hope he is ok after the crash
