Emil and Doyle over 2 meetings scores 29….. usually they would get that in one meeting but that’s the breaks Jack Holder totally classless as usual

An injured Danny King gets 9 from 5….. pretty good from a third heat leader but I bet he gets stick again … and I’m not blaming Ellis but he has had a worse meeting Well done to Sheffield but even tonight if Jordan and have rode and scored 4 that’s an 8 point swing and obviously Doyle and Emil missing

Good job 2 Sheffield riders turned up in Holder and Pickering …. How easy would we have won this with a full strength side …. Fair play to Sheffield can only beat what’s in front of them

Not in the slightest Your 1-7 at the start of the season was Musielek Kerr Ellis Bellego Jack Holder Howarth and Gilkes In the play off final you had Lambert for Holder Chris Holder for Ellis Chris Harris for Musielek Pickering for Bellego Etheridge for Kerr Edwards for Gilkes The injuries you got last season plus sacking certain riders helped you become stronger for sure We couldn’t go out and sign a Lambert this season it wasn’t allowed and riders didn’t want to come …. So no what we have suffered this season does not compare to what you had

If Ipswich can’t win it then I don’t mind who out of Belle Vue or Leicester do Sorry no time for Sheffield as the way some of their fans behave … they did it at the play off final second leg and again when they won at Foxhall last month … just not a nice fan base … plus they have Jack Holder lol

Emil is out for the season it’s been known for a while

Jesus what do people expect from King? Lidsey and Brennan score 13 between them and Doyle and Emil let’s say got 20 and it’s a 6 point loss and everyone would have been happy King isn’t a heat leader at this level and he wasn’t signed to be one he was signed to get 7 or 8 a meeting along with Ellis so is anyone going to have pop at Ellis as well …. And reserves do beat higher ranked riders especially at home …. Jenkins beat Bewley the other week and Dan T has beat Janowski and also Harris this season to name but two

Yes because we can have a top 6 rider in the world guest can’t we!! … The situation with Lambert was brought in to prevent anyone doing what Sheffield did last season You remember earlier in the season when we had Doyle and Emil and won … or recently when we had Emil and only just lost? 2 full strength teams over 2 legs Ipswich win and all fans know that Not Sheffield’s fault as you can only beat what’s in front of you

Sad that we go into this as total underdogs when a full strength side would have walked this ….. Sheffield by at least 20

Don’t need a guest for Danny as I’m sure in both meetings he will get 7 or 8 which is what he was signed to do … not the c double figures some fans are expecting

Couldn’t have said it better myself Too much King bashing the guy is 38 not 25 and yes lower riders will beat him and probably more and more often We signed him as a solid middle order 7 point a meeting man and he is doing fine in that respect He isn’t signed as a strong heat leader he is signed alongside Ellis to back the big two much the same way as Lidsey and Cook are at Belle Vue As I said look at Danny’s home scores perfectly acceptable

He is booked for both legs of the cup final

Danny King should score 7 a meeting that’s what his position in the team is Doyle and Emil 13… Ellis and King 7 … Dan T and Rew 5 and Jenkins 3….. that’s 53 points a meeting I’m an Ipswich fan and yes sometimes it’s frustrating seeing Danny struggle but since back from injury he has scored 7 twice … 8… 9 twice and 10 and 12……. Good scores I would say at home or do some of our fans expect him to match Doyle and Emil Our team is built top heavy … but built superbly well that we have the next 2 riders in Ellis and King who regularly get 7 or more to support the top 2 Since losing Emil it seems King is a scapegoat for us losing … he isn’t going to get 10-12 most weeks he isn’t that level

Why? Not fully fit for Monday but rides Tuesday and is declared to ride Thursday for Ipswich … if he doesn’t ride Thursday I agree Why does a riders comeback meeting after injury have to be a UK fixture? If Emil comes back must he ride here first or can he do Poland first?

They did ok but Batch and Heeps got nowhere near what Ellis and Rew would have and you can’t replace Doyle and Emil and King was poor

Laughable ….. they made it deep when Sheffield was there to worry the Holders and it was tricky for the first 4 races or so but then it was graded and was better Ipswich track isn’t good but it’s not dangerous …. Even your own riders are complaining
