ah bless you did you miss me last time then....... I was banned last time we raced Poole and if you read the forum you would have known that Nope not at all As i said the loss of Josh and Heeps evened out As i said to many many people on here Poole were hot favourites to win this..........they won at Ipswich with a much weaker team (no Kurtz or Covatti and Newman with 0) so unless there was some sort of miracle they were always going to win last night ......it was only trolls like yourself who tried to claim the loss of Josh would hamper Poole lol Danny had a poor night which hampered us but we knew Klindt , Kurtz Holder and Covatti would get a hatful And what an awful blatant display of cheating by Kurtz.........the rule should never have been changed and Holder should have gone off of 15 metres And no it wouldnt have changed the result but ive not seen such a poor and blatant cheat from a rider in a long while....riders whoever they ride for should at least get a fine
-
What a load of old twaddle as usual. Josh is a loss for sure ....but you conveniently miss out the point that Heeps is missing for us We have lost 2 riders in KP and Kennett who scored 11 last time...........Sarjeant will do well to get a point.so Niels will need to get 12 or 13......unlikely on his first night for us...to match what KP and Kennett scored last time Allen is now reserve......he was reserve last time we rode you and scored 3.........he is still carrying an injury......Wells beat him all 3 times they met last time If any team is riding with a greatly strengthened line up its Poole.......somehow you forget dishing out all the chat about how Poole beat Ipswich with an understrength side..............dont you remember saying how you would destroy us when you had your full team??? Poole were missing Kurtz and Covatti and had Newman score 0................Doolan only got 5 from 6 rides Poole go back to Ipswich much much stronger than when they won at our place We have to hope that NKI and Sarj can somehow come up with 15 points.....that Allen can somehow with his injury issues find a way to beat Wells around Foxhall, whilst at the same time trying to contain ex gp star THJ , who now he is back at Poole will be happy again. Can Ipswich find a way to stop Holder from going through the card , KP was one of only 2 riders to beat him last time Also can we stop Klindt who was leading the witches a merry dance last time , passed King for fun in one race And how do we cover a rider like Heeps??? These Pirates fly at Foxhall, but Ipswich as underdogs need to find some fighting spirit and group together and with their backs against the wall can hopefully grab the win they need Lets be honest if Ipswich can grab the win it will be one of the surprises of the season but we can do it....... And how does an Ipswich win help Poole.........how does it have an effect on who comes higher in Wolves or Belle Vue?? Surely Poole as hot favourites should target a win here and take top spot and choose Ipswich the weakest of the 4 if we make it........If Poole dont finish top then Swindon will choose Ipswich and Poole will be left to beat probably Wolves ....and we know that Poole are awful at Monmore Come on you witches lets grab that play off place..............we need some heroes and some luck!!
-
Perfectly good reasoning I would expect Klindt to get 8 or 9 loves Foxhall I think from 5 rides NKI will only get 10 at best...riders like Holder , Brady and Klindt even Covatti are capable of beating him and he never used to fly at our place. Hopeful we can get the 3 points or we can kiss goodbye to the play offs
-
How do you work out its Ipswichs to lose? In answer to your questions: If NKI and Sarjeant get more than 11 between them they will have done better than the 2 riders they replaced when we faced Poole last time King got 10 last time.....i would expect similar Allen WAS a reserve last time and scored 3 against Poole.............. Poole won by 6.........no Kurtz.......no Covatti ... and a poor guest who scored 0 NKI and Sarjeant need to get more than 11....Allen needs to get more than 3 To say Ipswich should be favourites is a joke but the usual Poole deflection tactics
-
Maybe..........but if Poole dont finish top they will be left with either Wolves or Belle Vue in the semis as Swindon will surely pick us
-
We need 3 points in my eyes to get in the play offs and this is our best chance Josh goes well at Foxhall but r/r should be ok with riders like Covatti able to take the rides...............Ipswich have lost Heeps and thats a bigger blow to Ipswich than the loss of Josh is to Poole...........so the injuries pretty much even out so no excuses from either side One rider missing from each..........Poole fans had delight in gloating after winning at Foxhall with a weaker team last time so Thursday they are favourites to take at least 3 points form us but hopefully the Witches can dig in and get the points they need.......a real backs to the wall effort required Poole won easily at ours with no Kurtz and the potent at Foxhall Covatti..........also had Newman with a zero KP and Kennett got 11 between them that meeting............NKI and Sarjeant will need to score more than that between them for Ipswich to have any chance.........in that same meeting Lawson and Allen only got 7 between them.....thats where we need improvement THJ should weaken Poole in this match but even at reserve he should beat Sarjeant Big nights needed from Lawson and Allen i feel..............ive given up on expecting more than 5 from Harris Poole will be strong favourites to win this one but hoping the underdogs can pull it out of the bag.....the downside if we qualify is that Swindon look likely to be top and they will pick us

On my predictions done in December Once all teams were known properly and when Peterboroughs were dismantled i said Swindon would win it earlier this year and got told mainly by Poole fans i was foolish People who think with their heads and not emotion We have outperformed expectations this season

Predicted Final Table Points
Gavan replied to ReadingRacer2017's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Nope i said Ipswich would win.....i was wrong it happens.but rarely........remember at the start of the season i said Swindon would be top and were favourites.......... Poole are now losing form at the wrong time, they had their few months of winning matches and now something has gone wrong , Klindt has stopped scoring and Holder are Kurtz are consistently inconsistent The only team i can see Poole beating over 2 legs is Ipswich, -
He should do absolutely Still cant see why Poole got rid of NBJ, Wells has been poor and now they signed THJ...................almost as bad as the season they took Kennett as a number one and brought in Lahti

Predicted Final Table Points
Gavan replied to ReadingRacer2017's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
And what alias are you? Swindon will top the league and pick Ipswich if we make it and Belle Vue if we dont Poole will be left with Wolves and get thumped again -
Spot on i would suggest I was hopeful Josh would be fit for Thursday as im sure THJ wont get as much as r/r for Worall would have done at Foxhall Very strange response
-
Josh is a loss at Foxhall goes well at ours. Has THJ ever ridden Foxhall? I may be wrong Cant see r/r for Josh getting more than 7 from those 4 unless either Covatti or Wells are flying
-
Klindt along with Josh are the reason Poole are where they are in the league, for me Pooles rider of the season is one of these two Granted he may have lost a bit of form right now but no way should Poole get rid of him Im more than happy to see THJ ride at Ipswich rather than r/r. Cant see him getting more than r/r would have at Ipswich
-
He was awful last time he was here....seems a panic signing But then again we all know riders when they sign for Poole will always do better there then anywhere else
-
Surely r/r is better ...not a good signing but i might be wrong Who can take Worralls rides is at Covatti, Wells and Josh G?, at Ipswich would rather have THJ riding then them 3 taking the rides
-
Apart from a win at home to a very depleted Peterborough side we have been awful so i dont think last nights result had any bearing
-
we certainly are not there. we need to beat you boys at home thursday
-
As i said weeks ago Swindon will win the league and are favourites and i got mocked especially by the Poole mafia My only worry is that Swindon now look likely to finish top and they will choose us...........
-
We need to win this and now we missing one of our better home riders Allen will need to be on form both Covatti and Wells go well at Ipswich

Wolves v Poole Monday 26/8/19 at 8pm.
Gavan replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poole after a mid season run of form being found out to be quite average and reverting to type Ipswich started the season well and then gone back to what everyone expected and now Poole doing the same The form teams are Swindon and Wolves I like how Poole fans are saying they will beat Ipswich..............you wont face us as Swindon will be top and pick us which will see Poole face Wolves or Belle Vue............and if Poole face Wolves they wont make the final And i think the funniest thing on this thread is Shovlar saying losing Josh cost them..............cant be a real comment -
Cant fault the promotion for this move something had to be done but harsh on the two riders going when you see a rider like Harris going through the motions We need riders like Lawson and Allen to recapture their form to

Belle Vue v King's Lynn 26/08/19
Gavan replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
This result will almost put Lynn away from the play offs now Ipswich now need to get something from the home meeting against Poole as i can see both Belle Vue and Wolves getting past the 39 points we currently have Swindon will go top of the league tonight -
Why? Will be the same riders replacing Worrall as they have done quite well so far
-
why the need to replace him? R/R has been more than adequate

GP Challenge Final (Gorican) - 24/08/19
Gavan replied to JCookie's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The top 4 in the GP challenge were the 4 riders who are currently in the GP's (yes i know Fricke was a reserve) seems to show nobody is yet ready to step up
