Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
???? I said that Poole were favourites to win at Belle Vue.......and they did........it was expected by most people I do have a team to support...........you must know them.......top of the league in our first season back.......... And because im an Ipswich fan does that mean i cant comment on any other teams...........fool -

Thats what the Peterborough fans thought when he guested for them and then top scored If Wells gets 5 then its job done -
Poole v Kings Lynn. Prem. 4/7/19
Gavan replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He has had 2 decent scores recently both away 9 at Wolves and 7 at Peterborough At home he has got 3 and 4 more often than not. Im not sure he is that bigger miss at home and i would say Lewis Kerr would have the beating of Covatti on current form -

Should be comfortable for Poole Covatti at home 3,7,3,10,2,3,4 Apart from one meeting against the weak reserves of Swindon he has done nowhere near good enough at home.....Poole fans wanted him gone a short while back If Wells gets 5 he will have done the same as Nico, though im sure the Poole big mouth would say Covatti would get double figures........... Poole in current form should take this comfortably by 15 or more -

So you think that past form is irrelevant then? Covatti could have got 10 or 3. Wells if he rode instead of Bickley would have got 4 or 5 i would say Its all ifs and buts Poole drew there last time.......went back stronger.....Belle Vue were weaker.........Poole won...........obvious to any supporter that Poole should of and did win the match -

Because one or two have the mentality that if riders are missing they are always weaker I would say at home , with riders missing, then yes sometimes they will be weaker But away from home they can bring in 'horses for courses' and more often than not be stronger As an Ipswich fan id love us to be able to draft in Bellego at Belle Vue...............or replace Lawson at Kings Lynn ......or replace Harris at Wolves Nope but expected result -

I think if Ipswich finish top they may choose Poole anyway The team that gets 4th could well be an in form team and one you would want to avoid Ipswich i dont think would do to well at Belle Vue if they make it so the option would no doubt be Poole But if Poole get first choice they would choose Belle Vue as they go well there Im not saying Belle Vue are better than Poole or vice versa, just some teams go better at certain tracks.........Poole ride Belle Vue better than they ride Foxhall...........and Ipswich ride Poole better than they ride Belle Vue -

Worrall, Covatti, NBJ . 10 points between them last time and the result was 45-45 R/R , Becker, Etheridge . 11 points between them this time and Poole win by 2 I would say the result was pretty much spot on and expected.........in fact with Bickley replacing Wells (0 and not 4) maybe Poole should have took the 4 points -

Nope try reading the thread Said Poole were favourites to win and they duly did........Poole go well at the NSS and were up against a weaker Belle Vue so it was the expected result If Kurtz didnt do his usual disappearing act in the latter heats you would have had all 4 points Pooles middle order are doing the business -
Panthers v Witches 1/7/19 Premiership

The expected result Poole go well at the NSS They had a stronger team than the last time they got a draw there Belle Vue had a weaker team than last time Pirates fans celebrating like they have won the league already Trouble is the play off final isn’t at the NSS It could be at Foxhall a track that Poole are awful at...... -

Poole now favourites for this Last time was a 45-45 draw Richie Worrall scored 3............R/R will cover that Covatti and NBJ scored 7 between them................Becker managed that on his own at the NSS and Etheridge goes well round there Poole now quite a bit stronger Wells being replaced by a rider who has never ridden at the NSS If Belle Vue pick up a surprise win and the Witches get points at Peterborough , then those 2 sides will pull clear at the top of the league I know its all about making the top 4 , but Poole will be in a dogfight with Swindon, Peterborough, and Lynn for 2 places -
Nico due back soon so no Richie is season ending so yes

Helps Poole in this instance -
Awful comment You can’t do a collection for riders who might miss say a month but for a broken leg , season ending, he should have had one done Do you not agree with collections for Sam Norris then as he ‘ knew the risks’

Bates is a liability on a bike , either not fit or out of control , crashes far to much and has injured another rider

Doesn’t seem to be Sad news re the injuries but certainly in this meeting it helps Poole Worrall is awful at the NSS and only got 3 so R/R will easily cover that Covatti and NBJ got 7 between them..... get the right riders and they will score more A draw last time and Poole theoretically stronger could see them win this -

Why was the Weymouth meeting running after 10.30 the other week? -
Jake 9 from 4 good to see Kennett twice brought off by Nielsen and apparently close to fisticuffs but has withdrawn

Becker got 7 last time at Belle Vue and rode well there in the SON If Poole were to use Etheridge he goes well at the NSS Can see Becker and Etheridge getting the 7 points between them that Covatti and NBJ did As long as R/R gets 3 or more Poole look good here -
Cam will only get maximum 5 rides rather than 7 We need Jake back as his replacements have been poor yet we keep winning
