You dont think that riding at 3 or 4 that 8 points is enough from 4 rides? Your number 1 and 5 should be getting 23 or 24 between them and then your number 3 gets 8 , you are on 32 points and doesnt leave much for the other 4 to get to win a meeting Scott for Wolves scored 11+2 9+2 12+1 9+2 13+1 away 9+1 away I would suggest most teams would be happy with that return from their third heat leader
-
4 from 4 this season but would probably get dialled in
-
I cant see how people say he weakens the team away from home at all As stated take away the one match at Belle Vue and Bellego has scored 2,0,0,5,4 In those matches we have been competitive and won a couple In 5 matches Bellego has scored 11 points.......nobody can tell me that Kennett wouldnt do better than that
-
Eccentric lol And im not from Suffolk But i see this as an improvement on the away tracks for sure
-
I agree with you in some respect but we have been to every track and bar Belle Vue he has been poor. Its a risk worth taking that we dont meet Belle Vue in the play offs.....but we beat Belle Vue by 14 at home and 6 away so we could afford Eddie to say get 5 at Belle Vue and still be favourites over 2 legs In 2 matches v Belle Vue , Bellego scored 14......Im sure Eddie would get 6 and 6 at least and only a difference of 2 points over the 2 matches In my opinion barring injuries the top 4 looks like being Belle Vue, Ipswich, Swindon and possibly Peterborough though Kings Lynn have ridden only once at home and with Cook and possibly Riss to come back they could go on a run to the top 4
-
Can he? Sory but i dont see Morris as being an upgrade on Scott Jacob yes but Nick no Scotts best days are behind but i cant see how you can say he is inconsistent Will get you 8 points a meeting in most meetings I wouldnt say he has 'lost it' yet either Since Scott left Wolves have struggled , and yes i know Jacob and Nick are getting back fit

Another one that doesnt understand.....so yes im reading and chuckling at your response and moving on -
Its a great signing and will bolster us away from home and make us slightly stronger at home.
-
Feel sorry for David but its a needed change I actually think it will bolster us away from home more Scores of 2,0,0,5,4 and then 10 at Belle vue should easily be bettered by Kennett At home David had 6,4,4,10,5,0,5..........now i would imagine Eddie will get 4 rides most meetings and might get 6 or 7 So in my opinion yes David was poor at Foxhall but i think the difference will be away. 5 or 6 points where David was getting 2 or 0 would have got us points

Your missing the point Some Panthers fans are saying that the loss of Hans cost them points......i would say obviously yes maybe 8 or 9 points What im saying is that the loss of Allen and KP also cost Ipswich maybe 8 or 9 points. Now obviously KP and Allen could have had bad nights and scored only 7 between them but all the facts point to them getting at least 13 But on the other hand Hans could have only scored 7 or 8 as well. We can only go on what we know and that is that based on all known form both teams lost around 7 or 8 from the replacements thus making the scoreline probably correct If Peterborough had of won last night with R/R only getting 3 and Ipswich only getting 5 from Garcia and R/R................then we couldnt moan about the guests because Peterborough had the same handicap..........it would have been another team member or 2 that would have cost us.....for example Lawson or King only getting 6 or 7 Basically if our replacements scored 12 or 13 and R/R got you only 3 and you lost by 8 then yes you could say you missed Hans score that could have had an impact.........likewise if our replacements scored the 5 and R/R for Hans got you 11 or 12 and we lost then yes we could moan about our guests and R/R -

The promotion thought they had got it perfect It wasnt.....as Chris Louis said they over watered Good to see a promoter firstly admitting they got it wrong ............then secondly issuing a public apology to all riders and fans Ipswich might not be the best 'race' track as shown on the tv meeting................but its usually well prepared and not dangerous Have any of the Poole promotion ever admitted that they have messed up? -

You really think Josh would have scored much more than 2 + 1? He rode as reserve at our place and got 2.....so highly unlikely he would have got much more from the harder number 3 position Hans R/R got 3...................yet Ipswich only got 5 from replacements for KP and Allen....who would likely have been good for an awful lot more Peterborough fans blaming the bad guest and r/r for their loss yet somehow forgetting how much Ipswich were weakened KP and Allen at home this season have scored 13,13,20,13,11 (jake missed his last ride) So we would normally have got 13 and we got 5 so we were 8 points down. Hans r/r got 3 so it evened out -

I said at the start of the season Swindon were 2 riders away from being title favourites ..... Jensen and Perks huge upgrades and if they can get the right rider for Zach I make them the team to beat -

Panthers trying to use Hans missing as the reason they lost when Ipswich were further under strength Still not heard why Tungate never had an extra ride -

Or.... anyone would know it was a good time to take on the witches who were missing a reserve good for 9-10 points and a heat leader good for 7.... those 16 points were replaced by 5 a difference of 11. Admittedly you missed Hans and R/R got you 3 I would have said Hans would get say 12.... a difference of 9. In my opinion Ipswich would have won by slightly more if both teams at full strength -

Great win for us tonight Yes Hans would have scored more than 3 but Allen and KP would have scored much more than 5 between them so it balanced out for us We do need Jake back as we have a very tough looking match against Swindon soon and we need everyone firing for that one Lawson doing well at one and his pairing with Danny looking very healthy Harris hopefully is turning a corner as well Still need Bellego to get going at home or we may struggle against the likes of Swindon We may also have won by more of Cam didn’t have bike issues at the start And why on earth want Tungate given a R/R ride..... crazy management by Johnson and could have cost Panthers a point -
Bit of a daft statement and not really one that correlates either Fricke was hard and went to far He was HALF a bike length up I think some Belle Vue fans dont understand what consitutes 'being in front and riding where you like' If you think its acceptable to be half a bike length up and ride into the side of someone and put them into the fence.....while the other person just keeps his line ... then i suggest you read the rulebook Fricke rightly excluded.........not even up for debate
-
So if your half a bike length up you can basically just shove the other rider into the fence because ' you are in front' Max Fricke is by no means a dirty rider but that move wasnt good .....the commentary team pretty much said the same He was half a bike length up and left Harris no room at all. Its not up to Harris to throttle off if he is only half a bike length down, he should have been able to ride up to the next corner in that straight line. I also cant understand how the race wasnt awarded either Could have cost us a point maybe Its all well and good saying that Bewley had a poor night and so did Wells , but on the plus side Worrall rode and scored really well. Also Ipswich reserves had a poor meeting to. Its all if buts and maybes. All i know is that if we can keep this up then i dont fear anyone over 2 legs

Is there nobody available to cover Hans? -
Will it be dusty or bumpy or both lol

There will always be tracks that certain teams wont go well on With the make up of our team we have riders that all go well at different tracks thus tending to keep us in the mix in most of our away meetings. That can only be good for a 2 leg play off match As i said in the opening post of the thread i expected David and Danny to go well. Lawson and Harris did ok.....and possibly KP was a bit disappointing. We lost mainly due to our reserves only getting 4 each but they have carried us through a lot of meetings so cant exactly blame them for one poor night Looks to me like we are tough to beat over 2 legs which will be a good thing Important now to win our next 2 matches both at home We then have a tough home and away against Lynn and then 3 successive away matches before an easier looking home match v Poole Belle Vue and Peterborough and Ipswich looking good at the moment for top 4 Looking at the table i expect Lynn with there stronger team to climb the table quickly especially considering they have only rode 1 out of 6 matches at home Swindon with Jensen coming in and maybe a good new reserve will start climbing as well Poole and Wolves are the two teams that must be looking over their shoulders could be good when these two meet twice in the middle of the month
-
Poole might have a couple of half decent riders in heats 13 and 15 it’s just the others that let them down. I thought we would have got thumped tonight so a great result I’d love Ipswich to sneak that last play off place behind Belle Vue , Peterborough and possibly Lynn now. Im sure if Poole get their track sorted they could avoid the wooden spoon
-
Have a little look at my post again If its anti Poole to say someone is a bit of a brat then your a tad to precious I did say nothing wrong with the move Can i just ask why you watch your team with rose tinted specs on We had David Norris at Ipswich and he was a ' bit of a brat' back then to. Just because he wore my teams colours doesnt mean he is all sweetness and light I never said Jack was a dirty rider................just a bit petulant at times but he is young Doesnt matter what i say i get accused of anti Poole
